Marc Jacobs Autumn Splash Amber

I blind bought this because of the below review, and it is indeed a younger, more sweet ginger cocktail take on Coco Eau De Toilette. Like Coco's younger, slightly more tangy and gourmand but still warm and resinous sister. For those who can appreciate the genuinely tough find of a spicy oriental without too much longevity or sillage (yes, there are those of us who do want that), this is fantastic! It's relieving to be able to spray a spicy fragrance on without accidentally overdoing it and regretting it for the rest of the night, and it's relieving to have such a generous 300mL size so each spritz doesn't feel like it's costing me just that little more. I'm gonna try this again in the cooler months because if it's serving me well in the summer time, it'll probably serve me even better in the fall and winter.

Coco by Chanel without the heavy spice nuances. Not much projection or longevity but its nice to wear when you just want to put something on. Still is a wonderfully light pure amber,vanilla,spice-ish scent. I recommend checking eBay if you can't find it at a Tjmaxx styled place. This and rain are my faves of the line. Says autumn but i recommend this for summer nights as well.

I love this scent. I have to use a couple extra spritz than I normally would to catch this scent. I receive compliments everytime I wear this, especially from men. The ginger lets its presence be known without hurting your nose. It is a very sensual scent that can be used for daytime without seeming inappropriate. I suggest this as a fall/winter scent.

Absolutely made for every day. superb stuff even tho it is from COTY Paris. The Amber is not that sweet. I get caramel and Oriental Herbs. It feels so cosy wearing it on a rainy day. Good sillage and projection. After 3 hours it is nearly gone but it is a Splasher and not a Eau de Parfum. Purchased it in Spain. 300 ml for only 30 € was a must! Sadly it is discontinued. Scent: 6 /10 longevity: 4/10 Sillage: 6/10

Ah this is so pleasant for Fall. I wore this today and got a lovely compliment from a stranger. I am piggybacking off below comments this is absolutely a younger sister to Chanel Coco. Since Chanel Coco goes heavy musk on me I am so happy I have this to enjoy instead.

Amber with a touch of flowers and a little patchouli/woods. Very good. Good sillage and lasting power

What a wonderful scent for autumn! I have just tried it and I think I'm in love. Well, I'll have to wait and see what happens after a second try. Splash Amber is a light oriental skin-scent. You have to apply it several times because it's really soft, but I think it is a very sensual scent indeed. It comes in huge bottles and it's not expensive. Simply lovely!

I love this scent for fall!! I have a big bottle with like 2 drops left. I love the star anise and the ginger together with the amber. It’s cozy. I wore the hell out of it. I think it’s discontinued, if I’m not mistaken. I got my bottle from a friend.

the most e l u s i v e amber all over the world. Do I chase the substance or the shadow?.. :( I need to hunt it for an hour with extremely dilated nostrils, like an aesthetic gorilla. I'm raging, but I still like this scent..

I bought it because I was told it was unisex and this site lists it is for women. Either way I like it a lot and it doesnt smell like something a women would wear. It is very light, but complex. Such a great, unique scent

Sprayed this on me at a store during lunch hour...had to go back and buy it after work. This fragrance is warm and cozy. It doesn't last all day but I promise you will be sniffing your wrists all day long.

too soft, the amber stays in skin very little, reminds me to Yves Rochers Eryo but less soured
