Perfect Eau de Toilette

I blind bought Floral Rhubarb (Perfect edp dupe) by Dossier a few years ago and used it all in about 6 months. Loved the smell and had Perfect on my wish list ever since. I recently decided to buy the EDT while a sale was going on at Fragrance net. The bottle is my favorite in my collection in terms of visuals. I love the heavy glass bottom with light blue liquid, and the cool charm cap. It looks so pretty on my shelf. The smell reminds me a lot of how I remember Floral Rhubarb smelling, but nicer and a bit more complex. I usually don't like pink pepper but I'm obsessed with the sparkly quality it adds to this DNA. It smells bright, clean, sweet, and green. It reminds me of a glass bottle of strong seltzer water, a cherry jolly rancher, and is grounded by a smooth floral green smell. I love spraying this after getting out of the shower. It definitely has a strong, effervescent, slightly sharp quality at first. But after a while it dries down sweet and soft on the skin. Decent projection and longevity. My boyfriend says this reminds him of the glade spray his mom used in their house growing up, but says this is a good, nostalgic thing.

LOVE this !!! Such a good flanker. Nothing like PERFECT Intense however it has enough similarity to the original PERFECT. The sweetness in the original is found in the dry down here in the EDT. HOWEVER the EDT is musky, soft, and comforting. Way more appealing at first spray. The bottle is absolutely stunning 🤩 I love all the bottles but this one. Is perfect. Think an TIFFANY toy, but make it even more kitch. I adore the softness and the sheer vibe this gives. Very friendly for work, and intimate settings. Overall a crowd pleasure and dense projection for an EDT. It’s sooo sooo good! I’m really impressed! They knocked it outta the park with this. Perfect flanker to add a little diversity to this fun PERFECT lineup. Just what I wanted to kick off 2023! In a nutshell- Think - Cotton spice and a bit of cologne-aftershave sweetness!

This smells a lot like the original, however the sourness and the creaminess of the OG have been replaced by an airy or even aquatic like sweetness. My favorite flanker that I’ve smelled out of the three. Very, very safe blind buy... I could see this appealing to almost everybody, whereas the OG, although mass appealing, can turn sour on certain people, and the intense version, being very different and even a little polarizing. Perfect light, inoffensive scent for school, or a lazy day at the park, on a walk, during a picnic. Clean girl take on the original Perfect.

It’s a sweet, aquatic, and fresh floral scent that can’t really go wrong. It’s also a bit green. And yes, it’s shampooey and bubbly. The world would be a better place if everyone smelled like this instead of heavy gourmands. It’s a lovely fresh scent, and the bottle is so cute (sadly mine doesn’t look like the picture here. I would’ve loved the little cat on the cap). And while I of course think all fragrance is unisex, I know this is marketed towards women, but I would love to smell this on a pretty man.

I know those in the niche world consider Marc Jacobs basic, but Im a Marc Jacobs girl true and true, Im finally convinced. This is the 3rd Perfect and this is the 3rd Perfect I like. I feel happy when I smell this on my skin. Its the perfect mix of sweet light aquatic, and floral. This stays in line to the typical Daisy DNA. Beautiful bottle. Nice ad campaign. Im sold. If you've ever bought anything from Marc Jacobs fragrances, this is DEFINITELY worth a try.

I don't really know about the notes, but I do smell a bit of Narcissus, I think.. For me this smells floral, fresh, green and somewhat shampooey.. And, I love it. An excellent spring/summer fragrance. Reasonably long lasting for an EDT. The bottle however is, or the cap to be exact, incredibly ugly. Or, at least I think so. Very camp, in a bad way. But, who cares about the bottle really? You can always hide it in he back of your perfume tray, as I do..

I absolutely love this fragrance. I actually dont find it very similar to the EDP. It doesnt contain the rhubarb notes that are a staple to the EDP. Instead, the EDT has a fresh quality to it. I sense cucumber and mint even though these aren't listed as notes. I suppose the cedar might be what makes it fresh. I find this fragrance light but memorable. Its definitely going on my wish list.

Just had the chance to sample this today at Ulta.. this shares way more similarity to the original then that overly sweet intense..this brings back the fresh even a slight touch brighter & fresher then the OG but really I don’t see owning both unless you just really need that bottle which I love that color combo wayy more & think it’s even more perfect. Lol

I love how fresh, clean and sweet this fragrance is. It smells like a luxurious shower gel! I tend not to enjoy most “fresh” fragrances as they tend to lack an element of enjoyment for me, but this has that clean feel while still being cute and fun. I can see this as being that one inoffensive, office-friendly fragrance of my collection.

This one is fresh and aquatic, I feel the green and the pepper, Its very bright and lively like I cannot imagine someone not liking it! I really love this perfume it's a shame it last so little but if I was rich Id bathe in this and all Marc Jacobs fragrances. Great for gifts for young people or a blind buy!

Such a beautiful perfume, 100% reminds me of a narcissus plants in my grandmother’s garden and the green grass blooming next to it. Beautiful vibe. It’s just a shame that it’s available only in EDT concentration, the fragrance doesn’t exceed 2 hours mark on my skin.

Smells like it has an aquatic soap accord and I mean that in the best way. Like a luxurious bubble bath. I feel like this is what I would have imagined the perfume from Tiffany’s to smell like or bubble bath by Maison Margiela Replica . It’s elegant,clean, youthful

An aquatic take on Perfect, and this one is distinctly floral. I definitely got banana in the opening even though that's not a note in this one. The freshest smelling one in the line, imo

I really love this. Strong similarities to the edp - but slightly less sweet and fresher.

I received a sample of this. I am familiar with the original EDP because it's one of my sister's signature scents on rotation. The new EDT version is a bit different than the EDP in notes (not just heaviness). It's so confusing to me when companies do this, why not just call it a flanker instead of an EDT? The opening is quite fresh, like the original, although I can smell the note differences. This version has more creaminess, like lotion or conditioner-like quality. There is also a nice light sweetness too, but I'm unsure of where it's coming from. I want to say it's fruity sweetness but it's hard to tell. The EDP has evident fruitiness while this version does not. After the drydown and 30 minutes in, it all dies down into a musky, soft floral with very mild sweetness. It still gives me the impression of creaminess like a conditioner. The silage and longevity are not great but I think we were all expecting that. It's a freshie and an EDT. I don't blame Marc Jacobs for this, this is just how all freshies behave. Overall I'd say this is a fresh but not soapy, soft and lightly sweetened floral, with an extremely airy presence. It would be shocking if this offended anyone. The first words I think of when I smell this are "clean girl". It's enjoyable but not my personal preference for fragrances so I won't be purchasing the full size. I don't think it's a horrible deal for those who wear this style.

Immediately less strong almost watery and cucumbery is where my mind went. If I smell it right after spraying, it’s so light in fragrance that I mostly smell alcohol. Then it goes drier smelling. Definitely subtle sweet green and lightly floral. It’s less punchy candy sweet/sour than the original and more subtle green sweet like a bag of light tea or matcha powder. Maybe from the Narcissus since it can lean hay/tobacco like. The main difference is the difference in strength in that it both sits closer to the skin and the tartness is way dialed down. If you like one, you may not like the other. I prefer the original but can appreciate the EDT. In the deep dry down, this scent turns really creamy. That was very unexpected given how lightly clean and green it was for several hours.

I thoroughly enjoy the Perfect line. This one is definitely the lighthearted, airy spring/summer version. It does not have the tangy rhubarb that the original has, instead I can mostly detect the pepper on first spray then the dry down is very fresh, watery floral. Not heavy at all. I honestly couldn’t detect the cedar much which is interesting. It’s not exactly my “vibe” as I usually prefer more gourmand-leaning fragrances but this is still a cute and fresh flanker for those who maybe don’t care for how sweet the other is. Lasting power wasn’t the greatest at 2 hours but it’s an edt so not that surprised

I love the opening: it is such a fresh lovely aquatic floral burst. However, the pink pepper and cedar are the only notes staying on my skin, which doesn't give me the vibe I was expecting from it at all, if I'm being honest. It actually smells kind of grassy after sitting for 15 minutes and it unfortunately remains this way. I wouldn't say it's a bad perfume, just not what I was expecting. If you are on the hunt for an aquatic floral and fresh perfume, it wouldn't be my first pick ! It's very pepper and conifer which makes it very suitable for both men and women.This perfume is also pricey.

This is the fresh version of the og. All three have the same dna but this one is watery and crisp like a cucumber, airy, slightly fruity and sweet. This reminds me of a unripe pear but in a very good way. It dries down a little musky and sweet on me and it’s honestly a unisex scent. I got this for my boyfriend because he only likes fresh scents. He is the pickiest person in the world but he loves this fragrance! The only one that has lasting power and projects is the intense version. Otherwise, this one and the og sit close to the skin and doesn’t project at all.

This perfume spilled in my purse when I was at homecoming with my ex and his friend group, and the smell stuck to it for several months, so idk if this has really good longevity or if a lot spilled in there. That was a rough night because I wasn't over him, so this perfume has traumatized me. I still think it smells decent. It has a very soapy smell, reminiscent of the kind of soap you'd find in the bathroom of a nice hotel. I smell it and immediately long for nicer days. A time before more difficult emotions took over life.

I have the Intense and comparing these two together is so intriguing. With Intense — the Narcissus is very in your face. As with this version of Perfect, it’s light and very natural. Also, this fragrance gives me slight shampoo vibes. I’ll be reaching for this fragrance in the Summer / Spring seasons. Now, if you are a fan of Intense and find the Narcissus is way too pungent for your liking, this is way more fresher and natural — watered down if you will. Safe blind buy if you are on the fence!

Think "clean girl aesthetic" fragrance. From the look of the bottle to the scent itself. At first spray I was underwhelmed, but the yellow floral accord comes through stronger in the dry down which is lovely. I don't pick up on any pink pepper and I'm glad! It's just a pretty fragrance to wear when you don't want or need to stand out. Not sweet, sultry, or soapy. It's more like a breath of fresh air. Incredibly office safe as well (& for me, I need more of those).

I was looking for a fresh/clean type of scent when I stumbled on Perfect edt by Marc Jacobs. At first I loved the scent because it smelled EXACTLY like soap or a fresh soapy shampoo. Now I feel like it’s a bit too screechy and spicy for a fresh fragrance although after you let it sit on the skin it actually turns out pretty nice. Wouldn’t repurchase personally but if you love strong soapy scents you will love this one.

very nice aquatic floral -- what kind of floral? 🤔 yellows makes sense, but i can't claim to know exactly which. the color and bottle suit its mood nicely -- tranquil, dreamy light blue. it reminds me of watery smells, like melon and cucumber, but it's definitely a floral VS fruity. i feel like people who enjoy Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea or Sunflowers would enjoy this. it just has that kind of vibe.

Smells like: Really juicy jolly ranchers and some after-shower steam from clean girly body wash gently perfuming the air Rating: Like This is cute! Jolly Ranchers smell has prevailed in this EDT but I get an aquatic element to it. It gets more tart after a few minutes and ultimately I'd like to test this on my skin sometime soon.

Marc Jacobs fragrances always smell so perfumey to me, in a good way!! There's just something I can't put my finger on about them. This one is less perfumey than others, and more breezy. She's bright and fresh, but still sweet and feminine. Maybe even a little crisp and green. Very pleasant, very wearable.

I get watermelon, sour apple or cherry Jolly Rancher out of it. I smelled it in the cancun airport and bought it. It reminded me of a cologne I wore long ago. Then, after wearing it awhile, I remembered the cologne. Victoria's Secret Tranquil Bareezes back in the 90s. Nice summery scent.

Pleasant, clean, fresh, sweet. Reminds me of something I would have adored as a young teen. Even now I can see it as a carefree out-of-the-shower scent. I'm confused by the supposed notes listed, though. This smells like a soapy fruity floral. Not peppery, not woody.

It’s elegant, fresh, light and clean. It’s a beautiful scent, it’s polite in every setting. However, it’s still not one of my top favourites- I guess because I’m a gourmand lover, but I still appreciate this fragrance, and it still has its place in my collection.

This is such a beautiful scent. Compliment getter for sure. I wore a more expensive fragrance to work & no one seem to notice it. But this one was a hit from men & women. Which means that the sillage is really good. It’s perfect. Not too loud or too subtle.

Suuuper summery, fruity and floral. Caught me by surprise when testing, to me it seems pretty light which is good for most casual situations. I didnt realize this was for women, not that it would matter anyway. It smells great! 8/10 Cool Grandma Smell

I like it, but I may be allergic to the top notes. Wearing it for two straight days now as an after shower perfume and I get a runny nose. Too bad, it's my first Narcissus perfume. Would have loved to keep it.

Easy grab summer scent. Much prefer the EDT vs EDP. It is on the generic side- light bright clean and inoffensive. I feel this is easily unisex with citrus the main player. And the cap is cute.

Love layering this scent with other fragrances. On it's own it's alright, but not my favorite.

Another store test review from me so don't take it too seriously. Came across the three Perfects sitting out in Boots. The number of fragrances out for test in my local store gets progressively fewer, they really don't seem to like opening up those bottles.so I went for what was on display and the most appealing colour combo of spangly bejewelled bottle and aqua hued juice which was the EDT. I don't know any other Marc Jacobs fragrances, potentially one but not memorable enough to know which one and I had no idea of the notes in this one. To my nose it seemed like violets and iris in the opening and a distant fruit but reading the notes now I see Polygonum ( had no clue what that was but turns out its Knotweed - isn't that the horrible weed that ruins peoples gardens and properties? It seems Marc Jacobs has found a use for it.) narcissus and pink pepper. Clean, soapy, parma violet vibes for me. Nothing fancy. The drydown retains a floral edge. Good longevity for an EDT. The scent lets down the jazzy bottle and cap I feel. I tried the Perfect Intense EDP as well which smelled nothing alike, that was a straight up cleaning product NO.

First of all, the bottle is stunning. The sprayer is fantastic and produces an even, broad mist. As for the fragrance, it is a light, crisp, and refreshing perfume that perfectly embodies a cool spring day. I am unfamiliar with the smell of narcissus or polygonum, so it is difficult for me to describe. It is a soft floral. The floral notes smell clean and airy without being soapy. They have a slight glowy sweetness. The pink pepper is quiet to me. I can barely smell the cedar. I don't find any similarities in smell between this and the original or intense versions. It is office safe with an intimate sillage. If you want to touch up throughout the day, I would recommend the travel pen spray. Perfect EDT is not particularly unique. However, I do not have any other florals like it. It is a much easier wear than the other Perfects and my favorite of the bunch. I would like to retest this in the warm seasons.

I really like the pink Perfect perfume so I decided to try the blue one aswell. At first sniff I was so confident that it must have Kiwi as top note, I was shocked to see that it was no fruity notes listed. To my nose it smells very fruity, like Kiwi and Banana maybe. maybe its just me haha. Otherwise, it has very similar DNA to the pink one, but this version is more aquatic, soapy and clean. The sillage and longevity is a little weaker on this one compared to the pink one, I feel like this one would be a great layering perfume perhaps. This is a lovely fragrance for the days you want to smell clean, bright and fresh, this fragrance is "perfect" for spring and summer!

I'm not a big fan of this. It's way too clean smelling for me, but I can see why people would like it. A very spring forward sunny, fresh, floral laundry soap scent, mixed with powdery notes. It didn't last long on my skin, but I will say that the dry down is GORGEOUS. It smells to die for after it has sat on the skin for a while. The beginning is way too loud with the laundry smell for me. It smells nothing like Poppy to me and Poppy is one of my favorites.

Perfect EDT stays true to the Perfect vibe of a sweet & rich floral but there is a distinct note in here that I don’t particularly like. There is a light freshness to this blend but it also makes the EDT my least favorite of the flankers. Longevity is weaker as is expected for an EDT. I prefer more bold scents so this one is not my style but if you like something light and fresh and are already familiar with the Perfect line, this could work for you.

I wore this for a few days, before I decided I truly just didn't care for it much. It's a fresher spring version of Perfect, but I prefer the OG. I dont typically like pepper notes, but I can't smell it here so wouldn't have even known had I didn't see the notes. I dont think it makes it soft spicy like the accords say. I was hoping itd be a bit more cologne like, but to me this is just a fresh version of perfect

This was a blind buy. I do like marc jacobs perfumes. I got this based off the look of the bottle. If your into smelling like a tree this one is for u. I just don't like it. There are great reviews and that's one reason I did get it. However I just don't like floral scents that are overpowering. I don't get fresh from it either.

I can not pinpoint any notes in this one, but it start off very fresh and pleasant. A little sweet too, but less sweet and more fresh than the EDP. However, it dries down on my skin to smell almost identical to Gillette Venus aloe vera shaving gel/foam. Not what I want to smell like, so its not for me.

I really liked this. it’s fresh, clean, and very aquatic with that light floral vibe. It’s an easy scent to wear in the summer. But over time I realised it just didn’t have that wow factor and I wasn’t reaching for it at all. In the end I gave it away because it was just sitting there unused.

Nowhere near as good as her older sister. Heavyyyy on the narcissus and a kind of childish floral. Powdery and light, this is good for when you want to play outside. Almost reminds me of a generic soap.

Lots of cedar here. There’s also a sweet floral underneath that. This is too much cedar for me so I’m giving it to the hubby.
