This stuff is actually really nice smelling. I picked it up at a local brick and mortar shop in my city, and if I’m being honest it stood out from the more commercial colognes. The presentation is beautiful and the price was right. Since there are no other reviews, I’ll take some time to let you know what this smells like to me. To me upon first spray I get serious Creed Silver Mountain water vibes. It’s got almost that candied type of smell, but there are a few related missing notes to make this stuff a true clone, mainly the musk. The description identifies this cologne as a woody aromatic, but at no point did I ever pick up any wood. The openings main note that sticks out is the citrus notes, and the lemon far outweighs the bergamot. By the time you get to the mid this is where it becomes apparent of what it’s trying to be, SMW. To my nose this comes across as a herbal aromatic. In my opinion this leans more unisex than masculine. Definitely not a bad blind buy, but I already have the real Creed Silver Mountain water. I get about 4-5 hours with this stuff, but I’ve only ever seated it in cold weather so far. You could do a lot worse when blind buying, just know which type of smell you’re getting into before buying, SMW isn’t for everybody.

I found a new 100ml bottle on ebay for under $20 and even at that price I was on the fence about buying it. I've never smelled anything from Marc Joseph and I thought it would end up being a throw away fragrance. I then came here and read the review left by DaedalusX who described it as similar to Silver Mountain Water. I went ahead with the purchase and am very glad I did. Just like Daedalus said... serious SMW vibes. Performance is solid and presentation is very nice. Thanks Daedalus for tipping the scales and helping me add a quality cheapie to my collection. I'm impressed with the brand so far and won't hesitate to try more from Marc Joseph.
