Marc O'Polo Women

I cannot find the bottle I have here in Fragrantica's Database, but this one seems to be the closest. I have Marco O'Polo's "Woman". It is a glazed bottle with a transparent circle in the center from where the name of the designer can be read, and a soft tea-rose pink liquid. I just tried it on and to my nose, it smells a lot like Theorema Leggero, which I rather like. It is a very nice scent, kind of mature, slightly spicy, woody, not too strong, elegant and which evokes an adventurous spirit (of the safari kind)... Update - the composition of the perfume I have according to the shop I bought it from is: Top Notes: bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit, black currant, pink pepper, etc Heart notes: white lilly, jasmine, lilly of the valley, etc Base notes: tonka beans, patchouli, cedar wood, vanilla, incense, etc

It's a powdery floral like many others out there. If you like this kind of scents, you can't do nothing wrong with "Women". For me it's not a buy.

I am finishing a sample today. Nice scent. Mostly i detect freesia, currant, peony, mandarin orange and red apple. Pleasant when wet and drying down, after dried down its changing to a very subtle scent. After 1 h on my skin it is barely there. For summer like now july its ok, but other months do not bother, there is no smell at all. I think they do not produce it any more. If longevity would be better it could be a great perfume. But its not.

I tested this one today in a drugstore and it is so nice. Fresh, little bit musky, I loved it.
