Maria Sharapova

I bought this one 3 years ago during a exchange in the USA. It was cheap and I had a good first impression, followed by a second, a third, a fourth... Maria Sharapova stands out from a lot of overpowering, sickly celebrity perfumes. It's a fresh, sweet and delicate perfume, a must have for hot days. Too bad I can't find it in Brazil, because I would definitely buy it again!

After the slew of dreadful celebrity frags that has been unleashed on unsuspecting and suffering public (Gwen Stefani's concoctions, anyone? Yuck!), this is a refreshing change. I got this as a freebie with one of my orders and I fell in love with it. A really nice floral scent. On me, it smells a bit like J'Adore (which I also love). As Lizura said, very ladylike.

love this.it opens with a lemony citrus blast that is both refreshing and clean.the white flowers follow soon after and i can detect gardenia and a grassy fragrance.last a very long time on me then dies down with a vanilla musky smell that i like.considering the price,it is an excellent value and a lot better than more expensive ones.

I love the sparkly fruits and florals on this perfume very promising fresh bright it will brighten every rainy days and mondays. I love the bottle like a pink sunset but i think the cap is a little over the top with the plastic fins but netherless a very goood perfume.

Everyone needs a scent like this in their collection. A fragrance for running around, doing errands, being athletic, and outdoorsy in. It's a spring in a bottle scent. It perks you up. I love this combination of fresh spring flowers and green grass.

this suits me according to my colleague, whenever i wear maria sharapova they keep on telling me that this really suits and surprisingly it stays on me. I find it a bit floral and feminine smell ireally like it :)

When I am wearing this perfume it feels like rubbed by a body creme. Nice combination of floral scents and it is absolutely refreshing. I can smell it all day long :)

Very nice smell...love the floral in it.. fresh and subtle. Day and night perfume...It is also very delicate!

grabbed 1 oz of this at Perfumania years ago, mostly because it was cheap, had a pretty bottle, and smelled nice in the store. it wound up being my favorite "travel" perfume for a while. i visited the Philippines with two of my daughters and we decided that MS smelled good on all of us, so we just took the one bottle and shared it. the light floral (i don't really smell much citrus) wafted around after us. now i mostly use it as a "workplace" scent, where the delicacy doesn't seem to bother anyone (we have fragrance police here so i'm sure i'd hear about it if someone complained), and i can reapply after it fades. outside of work, i mostly go for something with more sillage and a bolder profile, but MS is a fall back when i'm trying to be subtle (which frankly for me isn't very often). my only dislike is for the perfume's namesake -- i really didn't like her or the attention she garnered when she was on the circuit, just for being pretty. but other than feeling occasionally guilty for wearing her fragrance, it's a big thumbs up for MS.

I just bought Maria Sharapova yesterday and I decided to wear it today. The opening is a little blaring and loud...all citrus and no flowers, which I guess makes sense now, seeing the notes of the perfume. It seems a little bit 'been there done that'. Now that I've worn it for 5 hours, I am just now smelling the floral hints. The fragrance does dry down to a sweetly natural kind of floral once you get past all that citrus. I really smell the rose, grass, and magnolia at this point. I'm also detecting a faint hint of white flowers and musk along with a little vanilla. Overall, it is an OK fragrance, but not memorable at all. It reminds me of the Ocean Pacific for Women I already own. It was a 'bargain buy', so I don't feel like it was a total waste of money, but I don't believe I'll be buying more of it when I run out. I think it's a suitable fragrance for a casual outing.

This is a very nice, classy perfume and refreshingly different to most of the sickly celebrity scents that are overloading the perfume market at the moment. It's fresh, light and citrusy, predominated by the smell of lemon, so it's a refreshing, clean scent and ideal for summertime although I think it's suitable to wear anytime, anywhere. The only downside to this perfume is that it opens slightly artificial smelling but that disappears after a very short time and it becomes a lot more natural smelling. Also, being quite a light scent it doesn't have brilliant staying power so might need to be reapplied at some point to still be able to smell it. Other than that it's great and I'm happy I bought a big bottle of it!!

Bought this new from eBay as inexpensive & the reviews here were good. Today I realised what it reminds me of - Le Jardin by Max Factor. To me it's a light & fresh, feminine floral with a bit of fruitiness. The packaging & bottle are also very feminine and attractive. The other days I tried it I could hardly smell it, but today it smells quite strong, and perhaps that's why I made the Le Jardin connection. Not my style anymore but I like it & recommend it for lovers of pretty florals of any age. Great for day wear. If you miss Le Jardin give it a try.

I've had this parfume for 2 years so I don't use it very often. Nevertheless I like it! It's a nice, rich floral parfume. On my skin it's not citrusy at all, in my opinion it's a sweet floral scent. Some days I find the gardenia and the jasmine too strong, theese two notes are very dominant. Very long lasting and good prise too. It could be a safe blind buy. Reminds me of Estée Lauder's Pleasures.

I can say i've finally found the right scents that fits me!!! I'm a pefume lover and i've been using so many different perfumes for so many years but this one is the best ever and it last whole day and i would buy this one again and again ^^

I've had this one for a few years so it doesn't get too much wear. I think it is a nice floral for the office and everyday wear. Feminine. However my husband did not like this one, so it doesn't get a lot of wear.

I love this scent....it's very light and airy, can definately smell the lemon in it- The only problem I have with this fragrance is that it may be TOO light of a scent & has no lasting power at all.

creamy sweet green floral in one sentence to describe. not bad at all. young girly summer scent; and it does last awhile; put it on in am and I could still smell it in the evening. great price too.

A really nice fruity-floral fragrance in a very sweet bottle. The package is nice designed and the price very fair! Perfect for spring and summer.

Try as I might I can't come around to this one. The bottle is cute though! It starts out pleasant, but there's a bitter note to it which gets stronger on me as it goes along. Plus I don't get any amber or vanilla from it which is disappointing. Maybe it's just my body chemistry because there are so many good reviews.

So far, this is not at all pleasant on me. It smells like rotten fruit. I will give it a little more time.....but doubt that will help. My chemistry does a very nasty number on this one.

When I got this for a really good price, I thought I'd love it. I've sprayed it on me lots of times, but it just is not my style. Not girly enough, kind of boring...

Bad fragrance.. in a beautiful flacon. There's only flowers.. no fruits. A perfect copy of Beyond Paradise.

all i get is sour,sour sour.not for me at all. the notes sounded really good aswell.

My husband and I recently picked the 1.7 oz up at a discount perfume store in Toronto for 16 CAD as a blind buy just to try. I had never heard of her before but my husband is Russian and explained who she was. We both tested this fragrance out and we both agree that it’s nauseating. I wore it on a quick run to Walmart, and it ruined me trip. Gave me a headache, just couldn’t wait to get home and wash it off. It’s grassy and elderly with dead flowers. So so bad.

Its funny how miss sharapova has used Wimbledon grass as an note in her fragrance maria has said on many occasions that her Wimbledon win at 17 is her most special career achievement and what to you know Miss Maria Sharapova has reached a Wimbledon final again 7 years later. Good luck Maria!!!! AND A QUESTION SO MANY CELEBS HAVE RELEASED MORE THAN ONE FRAGRANCE BUT MARIA SHARAPOVA HASN'T ADDED ANOTHER FRAGRANCE TO HER NAME SINCE HER DEBUT FRAGRANCE MARIA IN 2006 WHY IS THAT I WOULD REALLY LIKE MARIA TO MAKE ANOTHER FRAGRANCE HOPEFULLY SOON. MAYBE MARIA SHARAPOVA WILL MAKE ANOTHER FRAGRANCE IF SHE WINS WIMBLEDON Maybe next time Maria but can you make a new fragrance any way miss Sharapova i still think shes a great tennis star go maria

I'm using this right now, it was a blind buy and I feel kinda iffy about this, I hate hate hate the middle notes which stays quite long on me, but love the base notes. The middle notes smells peppery to me, I don't know why and it reminds me of Loewe Agua de Ella which peppery notes I love so much, yet somehow doesn't work with Maria Sharapova, but when it gets to the base note, it becomes a very soft and down to earth sweet floral on me. So, clearly it's a dilemma for me, as I can't stand the middle notes and it lingers on there for quite long before it gets to the base notes which I love... Silage is quite good for me... ahh.. I miss my tous...

Painfully decluttering from my collection. I loved this one back in the 'oughts. Similar vibe to the Paris Hilton perfumes but no one was wearing this and it has my initials on the box, lol. Similar vein to PH signature, Just Me, or Heiress but lighter and more floral. The magnolia and orange notes stand out but are not overly sweet. Just a hint of fresh cut grass. Super fresh & summery type scent. I've kept my bottle in the original box all these years and it still turned sour. also it has not been produced in so long I doubt if it is possible to find a good/not expired bottle anymore.

I really give the thumbs up for this one. I expected a boring sporty smell but no, this is very feminine and can be worn any time of the year although I think it really blooms in the summer. It changes a lot from when first sprayed. When I first sprayed it I thought it was very peppery but it settled within a few minutes to a very smooth but fresh sweet smell. I find it lasts a long time on me. I do re spray it in the middle of the day. It is affordable but I have to get it online because it doesn't seem to be in the stores here in Australia.

Yummmmmmmmmmmy! My sister told me this was a good scent and i went out and bought one a 1.7 oz for $7.99 at TJ Maxx and I sprayed and liked it ALOT! So,I went back out to hunt down another bottle and got lucky and found another one.This is made by Parlux and the box reminds me of the original Paris Hilton with the little slidy cover of Maria Sharapova's picture on it but dammit it smells way better than Paris Hilton and lasts longer too.I give this a 7 out of 10.

Nice perfume for the heatwave. The opening is definetely lemony and a tad tart but thats ok be cause it makes me feel refreshed like a glass of homemade lemonade. A little latter I notice Jasmine and a hint of musk. I do wish I could smell the black currants but I don't. Anyway, I really like this in hot weather and you won't go broke buying it.

Well this perfume to me has really no scent i mean i put it on me i can hardly smell anything its to safe and soft but from what i can smell it doesn't smell bad if only it was a bit stronger i am a tennis fan and a Maria Sharapova fan but im not sure if i will be buying another bottle again.

I have purchased so many fragances over the last few years I forgot I had this one but I was dusting off my bottles today I seen this behind some others so I sprayed some on. It seems it may have turned a lil sour but it still smells good :)

Smells kind of similar to Narciso Rodriguez's Pure Musc to me. I do like it, but it's VERY gardenia heavy with a hint of jasmine. Delicate white floral scents are beautiful, but not my cup of tea

I must say Maria Sharapova looks stunning in the advert very pretty i think maria sharapova is a true role model unlike Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton just saying.

Nice scent. Nice price. Very fresh scent and it does last a long time. It is refreshing and has a very clean, soapy smell to me. Not overwhelming. Subtle.

Really nice floral elegant scent! I usually don't enjoy sweet scents and this one proved to be a wonderful one...not overpowering, but very lady like!

WONDERFUL SCENT ! I got it as a gift from generous YUMA ,a Slovenian Fragrantica . It's a pity this fume isn't available in my country
