As soon as I saw the notes list and read the reviews I knew that I want Mariah Carey dreams.as usual when I want something so badly it's nowhere to be find here,so I ordered a set of 50mil perfume and 100mil bodylotion from usa Last night that I received it,I was surprised to see how pretty the bottle is.it's golden juice shines in it's pretty glass like a magical potion.but its scent totally dissapointed me.all I could smell was red apple and not a delicious,juicy or crisp apple.almond and staranis gave a dry,powdery quality to scent,so I could smell dry red apples,tonka and a hint of florals I decided to give it another chance after shower,so first I applied it's body lovely which as very pretty and soft golden shimmers and then I sprayed it.first it was just apple and a blast of dry powders but I could feel a sweet,warm whisper of caramel and vanilla showing up.after couple of minutes it dries down to this yummy,buttery caramel,vanilla/tonka,apple confection with a hint of soft,velvety powders.so tastey,feminine and inviting.apple provides a fresh,airy quality that prevents caramel from becoming cloyingly sweet and powders prevent it from becoming foody and sticky I find dream a mature gourmand,it's not a childish caramelized candy I love it and I wished I had a bigger bottle.longevity is 5,6 hours which is very good for a celeb scent and sillage is almost moderate.it's a scent for mild to cool weather.soft and sensual.I like dreams more than M but that one's nice too ❤❤❤❤

I'll be honest - I have mixed feelings about this scent. It's a general crowd pleaser, and a wonderfully crafted sweet gourmand treat. So, why the hold up you ask? Dreams has many notes that I adore in a perfume; caramel, vanilla, almond, tonka bean, honeysuckle, etc. This fragrance is EXTREMELY sweet, a little too sweet even for me. I think Dreams is of excellent quality, and possesses long lasting, high quality ingredients. The first spray I get nothing but syrupy canned pineapple and salty caramel. It's mouth watering and very delectable! I think on my skin, or perhaps the way I perceive this scent, more than one spray is simply way too cloying and headache inducing for every day wear. I do like the scent even more as it dries down into the heart & base notes. The florals come out a little more and the "saltiness" subsides, leaving a gorgeous sweet, sensual and exotic trail. The best thing is that this scent lasts for ages, and it sticks to clothing for days on end. To wrap it up, this scent is very beautiful, but too overwhelmingly strong if used in excess and has the potential to cause headaches. Scent: 7.5-8/10 (undecided) Longevity: 10-12+ hours Sillage: Moderate to heavy! Would I repurchase? Possibly! PS: If you find that Prada Candy fades too quickly, this is a great alternative! Update: Thinking about this gives me the slightest toothache... lol.

I tested this right after it came out. I didn't think the staying power was enough to warrant the price, even though I liked it a LOT. I was so wrong. I was visiting out of state and had taken only one perfume in case of loss/breakage, whatever! The perfume was Guess by Marciano. It might have a LOT to do with why I thought this didn't last. Both are the same genre. I bought this last night at an after Christmas clearance. I sprayed once on my arm, changed and got my jammies on, and have made it to my computer this a.m. It's lasting just FINE. It's lovely and worth the price tag. I have many similar scents. I don't want to PAY the price, but will search always, for a good bargain. If I had nothing comparable to this, I'd certainly JUMP on this. It isn't too overly sweet, strong, annoyingly cloying, old or young. You don't even have to like vanilla! The bottle is adorable. I'm so glad to see a variation! I like a new design with each fragrance quite often. It's just a bit more enticing for me, provided I don't find it distasteful! This fragrance is a love for me. Will I use more than any other scent I have? nah....but it WILL get worn and it's a great go to fragrance for anyone. If you don't like this scent, it should still be pleasing to smell on someone other than yourself, so good for gifting. This is a good job.

I had tried it on 3 different times before buying. First one I wasn't impressed and seemed kinda heavy to me, but second and 3rd times I got a total beachy, sea vibe from it, something salty, something summery, you know that time when the sun is hiding behind the mountains but youre still at the beach. Altho its def a sweet/caramel scent I get something fresh! I absolutely love it now, wear it in the evening(around 5-6pm) and lasts all night till the morning. Some of this saltiness tones down in time and then it turns warmer, sweeter. Its youthful yet sophisticated, perfect for the 25+ seductive youthful crowd and mature at heart -25. Projection is fantastic. I fall in love with it everytime I smell it. Oh and if your man likes to burry his face in your cleavage lol spray some on it and hes gonna be even more in love with you ;) I consider it same category as Jennifer's J, similar calming beach vibe. The saltiness here though with the caramel are one-of-a-kind. I had my mom smell this perfume and she was amazed, she said "how did they manage to capture the beachy vibe and saltiness". Almond is my favorite note but I dont get much of it here, it is subtle. I dont see much similarity to Fancy, thank God, that one is so sour/suffocating on me. This is truly a dream on my skin, summer or winter.

Yessssss is all I can say about Dreams. This was the first Mariah Carey fragrance I bought back in 2013 when it launched at Kohl's and I still love it so much. It's perfect for the Fall/Winter season and smells like all the succulent sweetness of the holidays. It is indeed very strong and sweet, with a heavy aura of caramelized almond and candy apple, but it's sweet in a very mature, luxurious, and "expensive" way, not at all childish or forgettable. The freesia and honeysuckle give Dreams an astoundingly dimensional and entrancing floral gourmand quality... I just can't stop smelling this all day long if it's on my wrist because no matter if it's freshly sprayed or in the completely dried down phase, it smells consistently great. The bottle is absolutely beautiful and totally "Mariah" with the trio of butterflies on the cap... and the fact that the liquid itself appears colored with a caramel tint just makes it even more perfect. This is what I imagine Mariah smelling like when she's on stage performing her Christmas album and dressed in a beautiful red gown haha... it's just so nice and will definitely get you compliments all throughout your day. It's not at all the "typical celebrity fragrance." I certainly recommend this fragrance and will enjoy it for years to come.

I'm a little surprised by the mixed reception this has here! I've been wearing this alot more recently, and it actually is a really great perfume. This gives a warm, vanilla, brown sugar, caramel apple sweetness. The other notes compliment this accord very well: star anise and sweet almond. These are all scents I love, and they come together in great harmony in this fragrance. Though not identical by any means, this bears a slight resemblance to, at least in the opening notes, Jessica Simpson's Fancy. This is one of those rare occasions where I genuinely *love* all of the notes present here, I have no complaints whatsoever. This is delicious! And such a beautiful bottle and presentation for the price. Celebrity scents have been going out of style for some time now, and I don't understand why - some are fabulously made, and a great way to smell great at an affordable price. Sometimes, gems like these crop up where there are few, if any, designer fragrances that bear a resemblance. Do yourself a favor and experience these before they're lost to time.

I tried this roughly ten years ago and absolutely hated it. I thought it was sickly sweet, annoying, and really basic. I decided to try it again today, and I really don't know what I was thinking back then! This is really, really pretty. It's sweet, fun, easy going, girly, and also young without being completely juvenile. It almost has this soft and fuzzy feel, like a warm cashmere sweater. It's just so good. It's hard to pin point exactly what I smell, without making it sound like descriptions for soooo many other fragrances out there already, but I will say this If you enjoy fragrances like fancy by Jessica Simpson, chapter one by Jennifer Aniston, fantasy by Brittany Spears, sweet tooth by Sabrina Carpenter, or sweet like candy by Arianna grande, then you will definitely enjoy this! This is so easy to wear and I can't imagine this offending absolutely anyone. Wear time is about average. It's not a big projector, but it lasts very well on clothing. This fragrance is absolutely perfect for close encounters and small spaces.

I purchased this one together with FOREVER perfume of mariah carey from LUXASIA. the supplier and organizer of perfume in whole asia and Australia.it cost me 35$ for 50ml. It says here that it has a 100ml but i think they dnt have. Coz i ask my bf to find this one on khols and macy in maryland ut he cant find a 100ml of this one. Only perfume set and 30ml. I stil dnt use my DREAMS perfume but i can smell the candy apple in the sprayer.. So i think it has a good sillage and longevity.. I love the notes of this one. When i smell the sprayer it reminds me of eating a cady apple. Then about the bottle design. Its amazing! The 3 translucent white butterfly lid on the top and shape like a glass of wine and flute! The body of this perfume bottle is like lucious pink. It has a rainbow reflection also. I love how mariah put her signature at the bottom of the bottle. It reminds me also of a little wand of a fairy and sailor moon.. This is one of my favorite perfume. Even if i dnt use it. For me its 10 out of 10..

This is my first Mariah Carey perfume , found it at Ross’s for $14 , looked up the notes on my phone real quick & it sounded good - it had me at caramel & tonka beans . Good enough . So I spray a couple of squirts this morning & I get a soft floral scent . About ten minutes later I realize I’m in this sweet soft cloud of caramel goodness , which also has this floral scent carried on a breeze thing going on . Yes , very cloud like. Soft . Really nice ! I see this is compared to Fancy in some reviews . I love & adore Fancy . I find it delicious . Fancy is Willy Wonka candy sweetness , gourmet vanilla cream soda perfection in a perfume bottle . Dreams is more ethereal . Delicate . Still very sweet but has an airiness to it that gives it a uniqueness . The floral puffs through the day along with the sweet was very pleasant & interesting . Lasts 6 plus hours on me , fades away into a soft floral skin scent at the end of the day . I’m very happy finding this little treasure .

I am blown away by this perfume. I never would have picked it up had I not read all of your reviews first. To me it just looks like a tacky celeb perfume but it's what's inside that counts. On first spray I get a fresh, salty caramel apple. Very sweet and goumand but not in a cloying way. I can also detect honeysuckle which blends in beautifully. Dry down is pure tonka and vanilla. Perfect autumn scent. I don't really smell patchouli but if it's in there it's very well blended. The longevity on this perfume is outstanding! I can smell it on myself 12+ hours after application with only 3 sprays. I also get compliments galore. I'll spray this down inside my hoodie and get delicious, warm yummy clouds of scent all day. So if you want a cozy fall gourmand that you can get for CHEAP, check this out! I found mine at Marshalls for $14.

just three word for this One, LOVE LOVE LOVE so amazing,this instanly be in my Top 5 sweet gourmand scent forever, and i'll wear it whenever wherever whatever, all occasion, specially at night or cold day, so perfect too for christmas time, and this is also my first ever perfumes of her, and now no doubt about it to repurchase it always, and try to purchasing another perfumes from her collection,so want it badly her perfumes called Forever, long lasting almost 8+hour on me, project is moderate, warm softly powdery sweet musky and little bit spicy woody gourmand with burst fresh sweet citrus spicy opening, not too strong at first and turn down so close to the skin, so sensual sexy seductive , can't stop to sniff of it, more and more. . .really love it on me, thank you so much Mariah for this perfumes, LOVE LOVE LOVE

The more I wear this, the more I love it. Cozy, sweet, breezy without being too heavy or candyish. It is probably the most outright delicious smelling perfume I have smelled. The right balance of caramel and vanilla (the sweets) and florals and fruits. I detect the bergamot lifting the sugar and almond in a puffy, powdery form. At first I thought this was similar to Fancy, but I think this is quite different, actually. They share some main notes but Dreams is lighter, breezier, and more versatile as an everyday perfume when I'm in a sweet mood. At least, for me! Great longevity, too. Update: I let my bottle of Fancy go... this is THE sweetie I go to most for my vanilla- caramel sweet tooth fix!! Love it's delicacy and warmth. I do reach for this a lot when I want a cozy sweet comforting vanilla.

To anyone considering buying this fragrance, I strongly suggest you read Marlen's review in Bargain Fragrance Reviews. His description is spot on and made me want to run out and blind buy a bottle, which of course I did. And I was not disappointed. Dreams is sweet and gourmand like many celebrity fragrances, but it has a unique freshness that keeps it from ever becoming too thick or syrupy. This one is quickly moving up in my rotation, as it's many facets make it suitable for almost any occasion or mood or season. And I've already bought a back up bottle, because as some reviews already noted, Dreams seems to be becoming more scarce online and the price is steadily creeping up. If Marlen's review moves you, I highly recommend picking up a bottle (or two) while it's still around! 10/10

This was a blind buy based off of reviews I've read, and from reading the notes. I'm a huge Mariah fan, and so that didn't hurt either. The only other perfume I've had of hers is the Luscious Pink, and that smells really nice. I just received Dreams in the mail today from Amazon, where it was $24 for a 1.7 oz bottle. Such a great price, so why not? I was SO happy I got it! It's such a beautiful, feminine and sexy scent. Cozy vibes for sure. I get the fruity, vanilla, and caramel notes very strong in the projection and the dry down. I love it so much! It's definitely an inviting scent and great for cooler weather, I think. And let's not forget the beautiful bottle with the butterfly top. So elegant. I love everything about it! Mariah did a great job on this. :)

Dreams is a delicious candied floral gourmand. As many reviewers mention, I also get a caramel coated candy apple as well. It's sweet but not cloying. The honeysuckle is apparent from start to finish, but it's not sharp and it helps keep the candy bite from being tooth achingly sweet. In all honesty, this had caught my attention on numerous occasions, but that star anise note kept me from buying it. From the little I can smell, I actually think the star anise keeps the scent grounded. Now I regret not buying it sooner. Sort of a cross between Viva La Juicy and Viva La Juicy Gold Couture. Though it's not a dupe of either by any means. Longevity is about 10 hours, and projection is really nice but it never becomes overwhelming.

Bought this fragrance based on good reviews but I was a little skeptical (wasn’t sure if it will blend with my chemistry). First spray, I could smell the star anise and bergamot and then after a few minutes, the beautiful notes started to come out. I get caramel, red apple 🍎 and Madagascar vanilla. Not overly sweet, just blended well. I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrists especially when paired it with a couple of spritz of Tonka by Solinotes (you gotta try!) It was then a beautiful gourmand heaven ♥️!!! It’s not a matured nor juvenile scent. Anyone who loves fruity gourmand will love this. It’s lively, flirty, cozy and friendly. Can’t wait to try in spring or summer time. Great price and a safe blind buy!

Wow, this blows me away. The first time I tried it I was in love. I bought the rollerball blind then I rushed out to get a full bottle. I am not a vanilla fan but this one is done right. It is sweet but not too candy sweet. The caramel smells amazing with the vanilla and a slight touch of florals. It is lovely, feminine and non-offensive. You can wear it day, night and any season. The longevity and silage are amazing. Not many scents last long on me but this one sure does. The first time I used it at work a co-worker said "you smell amazing"....I know I do! A must have. This is her best one in my opinion. I'm going for backups. I got mine at TJMax for cheap and I've also seen it at Marshalls.

Love this, though I don’t really see it as a gourmand. Maybe it’s because to me a gourmand is an overtly sweet fragrance you just wanna lick off of somebody (lol).... I do smell the slight pineapple smell which I think maybe the star anise gives, but I like it. Smells like a watered down gourmand (not sure if it’s a bad thing, but I say that cuz it smells like it and acts like it cuz the longevity is not the best), not overtly sweet but still caramel-y, syrupy, vanilla-y. Like I said, I personally love this a lot, and I was so excited when I got it for a really low price at Burlington, especially after reading that it was discontinued :) so I will be spraying with CAUTION (I had to XD) ~

I like the mystery of blind buys. Most of the time, they are hits for me. A couple are misses, and then there are those that are an olfactory jackpot, like this one. The scent is just perfect for me. It's sweet, yes, but not sugary in my opinion. I don't get any apple, just a warm caramel scent with some almond, honeysuckle and other florals. I know it says there is patchouli in this. I intensely dislike patchouli, so for me to love this perfume as much as I do, is saying something about how incredibly this scent is blended. This feels like like (if there could be such a thing) a cozy, sweet cloud swirling around you. This is probably one of my most favorite scents ever!

I agree with Nippi's review below. This perfume so impressed me! I was not expecting that much to be honest, but it's such a warm, enveloping, comforting scent. A cousin to Fancy perhaps, but does not "remind me of" Fancy or anything else I have honestly. For that reason, Dreams is unique enough to own and enjoy and justify having in my large collection. This is smooth, delicious, well-blended, and has good longevity and sillage especially for the price. People will think you smell good but you won't offend anyone. Safe for work. All-season friendly but I think it suits the autumn perfectly. I love this little perfume!
