Forever

By the notes of this fragrance, I honestly thought it would smell like Jennifer Aniston Lolavie with tuberose added. It is beautifully fresh like Lolavie, but they do not smell similar like I thought they would. Anyway... This fragrance smells really good. Smells very fresh, the apple is in the front seat of this fragrance and everything else listed (Gardenia, Lily Of The Valley, Tuberose) are all in the backround but most definitely playing their part in the overall scent. I love it. The only thing listed that I get absolutely none of, would be the patchouli in the base notes. I do not detect any patchouli. (Side note : I also love the bottle!) Anyway, this smells great! And I'm really tired of the bad reputation that celebrity scents get. I've bought dozens of them that have VERY impressive lasting power, this being one of them for sure. I never get anywhere less than 5 hours with this fragrance and you can buy a big bottle of this stuff for $20 at TJ Maxx or Ebay. If I'm heavy handed with it and the temperature/weather is warm but not hot, I can actually get up to 7 hours with this. Also to note...I've gotten LOTS of compliments with this. I work 2 jobs and several people at both jobs are constantly telling me when I arrive to work how good this one smells and asking me what it is. I personally think of all of Mariah's fragrances that she's created thus far (and I've owned about half of them)...this one smells the absolute best. Deff my #1 Mariah fragrance. I normally only wear this for half of the year in the warm weather from about April until end of September but during those months, I get alotttttt of use out of it. Longevity - 5-7 hours depending on how many sprays I use. I'll give it a 8/10 Sillage - Deff several feet for the first couple hours. I'll say 8/10 Scent Itself - 9.5/10 Overall Rating - 9/10 Thumbs Up Mariah! Make a flanker of this one!! That would probably be amazing also.

I remember getting this the year it was released as a gift from my mother because I pretty much idolize Mariah and also because I loved Mariah’s “M”. M was my go to fragrance and I would spray it every morning since it came out. When I was gifted Forever, within a week I had ditched M, so this became my go to and I’ve used it pretty much every day since Freshman year in ’09-’10. Forever may come off as a bit strong in the beginning, to the point that it was almost completely disliked when I first sprayed it but I ended up liking it after the first few minutes and then after the first hour or two, I absolutely loved it. I find that this is one of those fragrances that just gets better as time passes. I definitely agree with those who say it’s a fresh floral scent and in my opinion there’s a little bit of a fruity sweetness after it settles. As far as longevity; as I’ve previously mentioned, I have been spraying this on myself pretty much daily for the past few years and the scent is still there after a long day at work, then it’s somehow still there after a shower at night, and in the morning I can definitely smell a very light amount of it. The only thing I don't like about this is the bottle. Now I love the design, but I have broke a few of the caps in the past. When I was about 15 I asked my parents for a specific perfume for Christmas and since then my friends/family have assumed that I actually collect perfumes, so in this whole growing collection that I have, Forever is the only one getting regular use. It’s also one of the only fragrances that I buy for myself year after year. It’s pretty rare that I pick a different fragrance and I always recommend it to people who ask what I’m wearing.

Another one of those man-magnet perfumes! Lol EDIT: I wear this when it gets around late March though early May. This past summer I had put it on before I went to bed and met a male friend of mine the next morning for a bike ride (I'm a road cyclist). Well, it was a warm morning and after we finished a sweaty 45 mile ride he looked at me and said "How some you smell so good after a ride?" My reply was "I'm a girl. I'm supposed to smell good." He told me he kept smelling this nice aroma when I was up front pulling. He asked what I had on and he told me it smelled wonderful. We both had a good laugh but I think it's pretty amazing that this stuff lasted through a sweaty bike ride. Lol Thanks for the superb lasting power in your frags, Mariah!

I love this fragrance! It is one of my favorites and I have to say, in my opinion, this is one of Mariah's best in her entire collection! I do now own every single one of them, but I have smelled almost all of them, and this is one of her most mature scents and one of her most feminene and pleasant scents. I love to wear this to school and on special occasions or for when I want to impress someone. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous! I got a 1.7 (50ml) bottle with a small body lotion in a gift set for $10! How can you beat a deal like that?! :) It's a fresh, beautiful, feminene, clean yet fruity scent at an affordable price! I definitely recommend this fragrance! I will always own a Mariah scent! She truly has a great collection!

I never believe in celebrity fragrances and was disappointed by Inseparable / Honey from this house’s. but as I am a super LAMB, I decide to give it a more try with blind buy and wow! What’s a surprise here! Forever starts with Neroli and quickly vanishing while cuddling by the Green Apple, Gardenia and something Patchouli which completely Feminine. The bottle also elegance by design. In my opinion as I am a MC huge fan . This fragrance reflects all perception, movement and personality of hers. Imagined you can get the sillage when she’s appeared. 8/10 for all of this projection. Additional suggestion before your blind buy. Find her sane name’s song, listen closely. That song can describe how great of this one!

What a delicious, fresh tart apple Forever has. There is a really nice balance of sweet, juicy green apple and white flowers like gardenia and tuberose which are so creamy. Musky, clean-soapy dry down. This is one of the few perfumes that has grabbed my husband's attention! This one and Paris Hilton's Tease, which both have apple plus white flowers as dominant notes. I think I like this better, though. -But this perfume is a changeling, too! After 2 hrs it changes.... Now if I could just figure out why I'm smelling something that reminds me of SJP Lovely in the drydown phase. (this part lasts hours) I think the only notes they share are musk and patchouli. This has good longevity- it is a love!

I delete my comments about Forever by mariah carey , I take my words back , this was love at " not first " sniff But then i slowly found out that i'm into it , this a clean sweet ( not too sweet ) white floral perfume that catch compliments headache free 😍 the dry down is soooooo adorable to me To my nose a kind of juicy apple and tuberose are most prominent but tuberose is so delicate not harsh or sharp to me , everything here is delicate and femenine , just spray it after taking shower and then i smelled heaven ! , to be honest i didn't like ( it was blind buy ) but after few times that i wear it , it changed my mind and become my cup of tea , and with this price i would say WOW

yay! i'm so excited to have this in my collection! i will have the gift set with lotion yay i'm inlove with this fragrance and the bottle is stunning! when i tried it on with the sample....my family and friends asked what a beautiful fragrance i'm wearing....and they're shocked to know it's from mariah! my aunt asked his hubby to buy her hahaha! my friends immediately went to the dep store where i had my sample for they wanna see the actual bottle and they fell inlove! oh my gaaah mariah made a good job with this one! I adore it! a compliment maker!

I love Forever on my skin. I smell a hint of the granny smith apple, and soft white flowers (gardenia), light and fresh. I don't really get much patchouli, but it helps to round the other notes up. The sillage is good, maybe I was lucky enough to land a fresh one. It radiates around arm length, and I applied it an hour ago. About the tuberose, well I discovered tuberose in a lot of the perfumes I like, so maybe if you don't like tuberose you want to try "Forever" before buying it. Longevity is about 2 hours. People say I smell sexy XD

Finally got 2 try this at Macys today and....I LOVE IT!! It is just like Marc Jacobs for women but its really rather nice! Something of a surprise from a celeb! Its really lovely and the tuberose does not distroy it at all! Thank u lord!! I really love it and so does my mom! She never thought in a million yrs that she would love a celeb scent but she really really does! I just might have to get it for her 50th bday!! Its totally ageless and anyone can wear it! Wonderful job M and EA! I just love the bottle too!

This really is a glamorous floral fragrance in a glamorous bottle, best worn on your formal nights out with your wealthiest friends/family. It is such a rich blend of delightful florals that it would be a shame not to share it on a night out on the town. The most predominate notes on my skin are the gardenia & lotus blossom, but there are several others in the blend that make this a multi-faceted scent, and a most enjoyable one. Silliage is great and longevity is several hours.

Ooh I love this so much, this is my second MC fragrance. Best way to describe it would be fresh/powdery/white floral. The Granny Smith apple really comes through in the initial spray but settles down into something so calming within minutes, and remains that way the rest of time. So beautiful, I love wearing this to bed but I would definitely wear this any time any place, but maybe not in the evening. Really long lasting too!

Forever by Mariah Carey is one of those fragrances that I got constantly complimented about it while wearing it. Very feminine perfume, apple adds fruity fresh feeling while gardenia brings sweetness to the composition. Very impressed with the staying power too. I like the bottle even though is not pretty handy as the cap was always falling off. Try it and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I had.

This fragrance is a love at first sniff. Very sophisticated, classy and feminine. When i tested and sprayed it on my wrist, I suddenly felt like wearing a very expensive gown walking in hollywood red carpet...I really felt like a diva like Mariah. It lasts all day. The bottle is gorgeous too! M' Luscious Pink and Forever are Mariah's Best fragrances. M is my favorite of all though.

O my goss! If that ad is real Im completely horrified! Why does she look so awful! Something weird is up w/ her face! Shes usually always so beautiful! The concept isnt that bad. Im diggin her in that beautiful dress and diamonds and gold in the background. The bottle actually looks way better in the ad which is a plus for me! Why does she look so weird! O Mariah! WHY DO THEY ALWAYS DO THIS?!! insert crying face.. Guys. Wtf! This is my all time FAVORITE! I have 1/4 of a bottle left and I let myself use it like once every few months. The lasting power of this perfume is beyond anything else!! I think I paid like $30 for it in 2020..had i known it would be discontinued i would have stocked up! Please please bring this back!

not EXACTLY the same aroma as Paris's Tease ... but it is quite similar... Forever is a little more floral and than Tease... both have good duration and very good projection... I recommend both.. when I use Forever I always get compliments .. i know its a "woman" perfume ... but it could be unisex... if u have the personality .. just saying #Lambily ❣️

i think this smells very similar to acqua by roberto cavalli, but the base here is not as woody but cosy because of the musk. top notes are crispier than acqua because of the green apple. i would wear this during summer time and i would wear acqua during autumn....love this perfume. i find it very surprising to be a celebrity scent

SOPHISTICATED AND TRULY ELEGANT FRAGRANCE MADE BY MARIAH CAREY. MY GIFT SET JUST ARRIVED TODAY (ALONG WITH MY MIDNIGHT FANTASY SET). THE BOX ITSELF IS SUPER GORGEOUS, AND THE BOTTLE IS VERY ELEGANT AND THE SCENT...WOW! I'M INLOVE, IT'S VERY FEMININE AND CLASSY...TWO THUMBS UP FOR A JOB WELL DONE ON THIS FRAGRANCE. 10/10

The only note im worried about is the tuberose! Tuberose tends to overpower everything! It did so w/ Inspire, Pure Bloom, and Juicy Couture! I really dont like the smell of it so i hope it doesnt ruin Forever! I LOVE M and Luscious Pink so heres hoping for another winner from Mariah! BOO TUBEROSE!!!

On first spray, it smells like sparkling apple cider. Absolutely fantastic and sophisticated, but as it dries down you get more floral notes that start to dominate the fruity aspect of the fragrance. I wish the apple could stay throughout the dry down and evolving process. Still a lovely scent!

I dont want to say this or believe it but im completely horrified that the evil that is TUBEROSE is going to ruin this fragrance! Please O please Mariah save this perfume and dont let the TUBEROSE completely take over it!!! Its a force that ruins everything it comes in contact with!

the perfume is clean ,floral but not too much, after dry smells good and powdery so good on me, my husband give it to me blind buy after reading notes ,he like it very very much his notes is feminine ,warm and sexy put in my wrist and love my self amazing tuberose ,long lasting

yer the bottle is not very appealing in my point of view, but the smell is really yummy and nice, i think it sort of smells like watermelon, but thats just me. I REALLY REALLY like this sent for summer and during the day as it is just so fruity and wonderful.

I'm a huge MC fan (in addition tot his, I own dreams and M) and I love her fragrances (she and Paris Hilton make the best celeb fragrances). It smells of apple, a little musk and patchouli. MC's perfumes are slightly potent and mature like.

one of my favs im proud to have in my collection. its mature, lowkey a tia scent, but im obsessed regardless. definitely green, and as if green apple juice was a lil boozey. definitely not youthful, b not for everyone, but it has its fans

This perfume is so lovely. It's not strong, but it's not so light that you can not smell it. All 3 layers blend so beautifully. Elizabeth Arden has truly made a masterpiece with this one.

My favorite Mariah fragrance, I always get compliments! It is the perfect floral fragrance for spring. I also think it reminds me of Kim Kardashian's fragrance, but not as heavy.

This is an elegant mix of white florals and crisp apples.. The fragrance is long-lasting and has a clean milky undertone that reflects its creaminess... Love it

Her new one coming out in June is called LOLLIPOP BLING. I'm not diggin the name but I do want to try it. If I love it I'll just say I'm wearing Mariah. : )

Love at first sniff,love even more in time I don't know why it take me so long to come to this lovely perfume?forever is my third Mariah Carey perfume,a blindbuy like the other two.first I bought dream which I really like and I believe it's one if very good,non-cloying caramel treats.then I purchased M which I see as a very high quality and original perfume but it's not for me.I can't get along with it's heavy incense though I decided to keep it and give it more time so that maybe my taste changes I always imagined forever to be something like Britney Spears curious,when first sprayed it really brought curious to my mind.not that they smell the same but they're in the same league of sparkly champagne-like opening,crisp fresh fruit note blended with creamy white florals and a hint of Lotus cutting sweet creamyness with it's sharp,watery fresh edges and smooth base notes,they're both warm,clean,lovely,easy to wear,ageless and sensual white florals. curious is about pear and magnolia while forever is a granny Smith apple,gardenia combo.now let's stop comparing and just talk about forever Florals aren't very heady and heavy in forever but they're not too light and watery either.it's not a bitter,old floral scent,not a supersweet,gourmandish modern one either.it has a natural delicate sweetness and is classic white floral with modern twist,something wearable forever and truely ageless.it feels clean but isn't cold and detergent like.most clean fruity scents brings shampoo to my mind,while clean florals make me think of soap.forever is no exc sometimes bringing shampoo,sometimes soap to mind but these sometimes happen rarely I can't call it a really shampooyee or soapy scent,maybe because of it's warmness.I like the contrast and balance of soft,creamy and sharp,crisp notes in it. Forever isn't terribly unique,it's most important advantage is being wearable and likable for a wide range of people.I was waiting for a Musky drydown but it didn't happen.I can't pickup strong musk or other base notes.there's just a hint of them just to deepen apple-floral combo and make it warm.ofcourse after wearing it couple of times I may be able to pick up base notes too when I asked my man's opinion about it I was waiting for something like:not bad,it's OK,one out of twenty,or even thirty perfumes receive a very good comment from him,I was very surprised to see forever is one of them.he said:this perfume is lovely!feminine and beautiful.right amount of everything.I think you can wear it alot in spring and summer.I agree.it's wearable for work,date,for going out with friends,as a daily pick me up perfume and it appears to be a crowd pleaser if used in right amount.it's not very strong on me,not weak either.I used my usual 6,7 sprays and it didn't seem to be too much but unlike some other fruityflorals,one can't use it like a body spray and douse herself in it.I didn't check time but I know that it lasted +5 hours,sillage being moderate All in all I'm very happy with this blindbuy and I think I'd use it alot.I also like it's bottle.it looks like school award.it's only down side is it's loose cap and that it's impossible to put it in bag and take it outside so I have to decant a little for my bag.a 3.4oz is about 30 bucks here which is a good price IMO

REVIEW FOR FOREVER PURE PARFUM VERSION: this smells completely different from the eau de parfum. Take out the Neroli & sweeten up the green apple giving it a wine like aroma. Lotus, Gardenia, and tuberose are the in alignment in this fragrance. they create this super flower that smells expensive, elegant, & just breath-taking. i'm not lying this smells so much different from eau de parfum. its much richer, the notes are realistic & natural, the Pure Parfum is just in a class of its own $250.00 for .5 FL OZ (15ml) it's in a class by itself in this collection. If you ever come in contact with this version of Forever Please test it out you will be amazed by the difference in Quality. THE EAU DE PARUM DOESN'T COME CLOSE TO THE PURE PARFUM VERSION IT'S ALMOST SHAMEFUL. it's floral with green apple whispers (sorry green apple isn't the star in this version) it's scent strength is 24 hours plus.

Forever starts of with dewy apple, neroli, and Lotus Blossom. The dewy apple accord isn't tart but more of a apple juice or wine quality, Neroli gives the top that soft masculine sporty feel, while Lotus blossom creates a water Veil keeping it from being overly fruity. The heart is an everescent combination of Gardenia and Tuberose. Gardenia is head of this center while Tuberose sneaks in quietly and gives the heart as well as the entire fragrance its creamy elegance while giving it a warming effect. The base of musk and exotic woods comes off kinda candle smelling which to me adds a chemical smell. It smells like angel whispers the glade candle when the base becomes close to the skin. As an inspiring fragrance Creator, I have to give the nose behind this fragrance an applause because they were able to create a soft blend with well known heady notes.

I was brought kicking & screaming to this fragrance by a salesgirl intent on selling it. I would never touch something as daggy as MARIAH CAREY on my lonesome. Oh what an insuffereable snob I am! And it would have been to my detriment because this scent is truly lovely. It is not especially modern (tuberose?), particulary considering it is a celebrity fragrance, but it is not old-lady either. Similar to Eau Demoiselle it seems to be a reinterpretation of something traditional & true. Not too sweet, not too imposing. The sexy little bottle doesn't hurt either. I am going to have to try it again on its own (I already had a full complement on board before being corraled into trying this) before I make a final decision but it is in the 'favourable' category for now.

i own M by Mariah and it really is not one of my favorites. when Luscious Pink came out i was excited cuz the notes sounded delicious and it was a little more up my allie, but i didnt buy it. FOREVER is AMAZING! I went to macy's yesterday and sprayed it on my skin. the top notes are juicy, but in a very beautiful femanine way. there is tuberose (which i usually totally despise) in the heart of the perfume, but it doesnt last that long, and it not heavy at all...which is why i hate it. the dry down/base notes are beautiful. the whole compostion is beautful. i am a huge floral fan, and this did not dissapoint. and it lasts and and lasts! even through my shower! its crazy! i really do suggest this perfume...

It's a nice creamy floral, almost soapy, I'd say tuberose is dominant. Simple and feminine, girly, without being too youthful. Something to wear when your not feeling too daring. Really I got this for the bottle, it's right up my alley. I love art deco and I love natural crystal formations, and this seems to capture both. Most of my fragrances I keep in a drawer so they are not in sunlight (which can damage fragrances), but this one I leave out so it can sparkle. Be careful with the cap though, it breaks easily, all the testers I've come across have broken caps. For my own bottle I always grip by the neck of the cap, the gold part with 'Forever' written on it, that has kept it safe. ;)

My husband loves the smell of Forever on my skin...it's sensual n warm...i bought this perfume early this year because i love the smell of fresh n soury-sweet green apple n also my all-time favourite flower,the tuberose.tuberose brings out the creaminess and lovely smell in Forever.i am able to sense a little bit of cinnamon smell in it or maybe it's just me who noticed that. The design of the bottle is comparatively different from Mariah's other fragrances..this one is by far,her most mature or grown-up kinda scent..for me,the bottle looks like an "award winning trophy" n also 3 dimensional and prismatic-like design. Another good-smelling fragrance by Elizabeth Arden. *Thumbs up*

Forever is fresh, sweet, and white. I get lots of green apple- not the candy sweet kind... it is more fresh and sparkling. All else I can really pick up on is clean tuberose and some creamy gardenia with some light woods in the background. Very simple, but pretty nonetheless. Unique... not really, but I still enjoy wearing Forever. This is the best of Mariah's perfumes in my opinion. It reminds me a little of a less complex Juicy Couture, with the strong tuberose, gardenia, and fresh(er) fruit.
