ローズ シソ (Rose Shiso)

This fragrance opens with a beautiful natural rose, lifted by a fresh, aromatic greenness and a spicy little kick of shiso right at the start. It smells incredibly true-to-nature — nothing synthetic or sweet here. As it settles, it becomes a bit soapier, in a clean and airy way that really suits the overall vibe. It’s not sweet at all, which I love, and I actually got a few compliments while wearing it. I can totally see why people say this scent matches the Japanese aesthetic, even though I’ve never been there myself.

Wow. Just wow. I have never been a rose person but this..! This recreate exactly how I remember Rose smell like. A touch of sweetness, a touch of green, and a light, graceful finish that feels like the real thing. If you want nothing but Rose, this scent will be the move.

This is so tender and wonderfully true to nature — it smells just like a soft, full rose basking in the morning sun, in a Northern garden on one of those peaceful, warm summer days that never overwhelm. The most beautiful rose fragrance I’ve ever known.

The green shiso aroma lasted half an hour on me, and for the rest of the 12 hours I smell like sweet rose nectar. I'm drunk on it. A surprising 10 out of 5.

I watched a review on this and was suitably intrigued. I've been trying to expand my scent repetoire into rose fragrances but none so far have fully hit. Wow - what a delightful surprise this has been! A remarkably realistic and aromatic rose that truly captures the petals, fresh buds and green leaves, as if smelling a rose in nature. I appreciate the inclusion of iris/orris that adds a sensuality and softens any anise facets of the shiso. It's certainly present but not sharp - the green notes act dispersively throughout the wear to animate the scent with vibrancy. This is not your typical vintage rose fragrance. The perfumer, I sense, has a deep respect for the harmony and balance of nature. Perfectly centered in gender neutrality, I feel this would appeal to most. I have a full bottle on the way and anticipate it becoming a Spring/Summer signature.

Someone’s bought you a bouquet of roses and you’re cutting the stems so that they fit into your vase. Firstly, you get a scent of green stems mixed in with a natural subtle note of rose. This is followed by a subtle green geranium scent that becomes more powdery with iris as it dries down. This is a very intimate scent with almost no projection. Soap... a nice, pink bar of soap at your grandmothers house. Then the shiso comes in, which makes it a bit more complex. But still predominantly smells like soap.

Beautifully blended, just rose and shiso. Very nice but hard to wear
