Like Cisco below, I received a bottle of this in a swap with miZZpuRRfect on here and I really like it. When I initially sniffed it in the bottle I was very happy that it smelled light, fresh, a bit fruity, a bit floral - my kind of perfume - but I was a bit startled when I sprayed it on to smell something peppery, which I assume might be the cardamom! I was hoping that would die down and the fruitiness would come through, which luckily it did very quickly and after that the pepperiness was gone. I don't smell the violets or coconut at all, luckily, as they're not notes I necessarily love in a perfume! What I do smell is the lemon note, and it's soft, sweet and subtle, not sharp. I can also pick up the rose geranium and the jasmine. So far I've had MB on my wrist for about 10 hours and I can still smell it so it's quite long-lasting yet subtle. I'm VERY happy to have received this perfume from miZZpuRRfect in our swap and I'm really loving it. In fact, once the peppery blast in the beginning dies down this purrfume is pretty much purrfect!!

Very interesting floral, cardamom and carnation add some depth and an oriental twist to it, but it's still subtle enough to be worn in summer. It stays close to the skin and lasts for a couple of hours...so you can spray it pretty generously...I don't think you can overdo this one.

I am a real Mariella Burani fan.Her parfums are very warm ,make me feel cozy and it doesnt matter where I am I feel like I am at home..This perfume is one of my favourite with it`s powderry iris and coconut notes,light citrus and a little spice note comming from the cardamom and sexy violet which I love.not overpowering but long lasting though.It makes me feel special and 100%woman.,very sexy scent which stays with me all day.Even when I go to bad I spray some of it on my wrists just to feel good ,calm and to have sweet dreams :))))))

On me it opened juicy, fruity, floral, a little peppery then quickly dried down to reveal another note that I couldn't quite put my finger on . . . and then I did. Creme Bruelee!!! Very interesting and delightful! Smooth, sweet, floral and a teeny tiny bit gourmand. Good sillage and lasting power.

I don't discern singular notes, but an overall very creamy, sweet not cloying scent. I would put it in the same group as Balmya de Balmain and Parfum Subtil (Salvatore Ferragamo), perfumes that stay close and long to the skin and generate a very comforting feeling. It is also very affordable as not well-known.

My favourite perfume of all time is "Mariella". Clear bottle, black top, white box with black writing. I cannot get it anywhere. I have bought the last bottles in Lyon, Hamburg, Berlin, Stresa and Nice, always looking for it on holiday. All my favourite perfumes are discontinued eventually!
