Buenos Aires Vibe

Dont laugh at me. The cap keeps stabbing me and scratching me to the point of bleeding...although maybe I should be more careful it is just plastic after all. I really like it and it lasts a long time.

Buenos Aires must smell like passion fruit. Passion fruit is the only note I can detect. This could be Demeter Passion Fruit, except that Buenos Aires Vibe lasts a decent amount of time, like about 5 hours. If you are into passion fruit, it's worthwhile to seek out a bottle of this. Sometimes in the heat I really enjoy this one, but it does not take me to Buenos Aires. It takes me to my backyard which is currently overrun with passion fruit vines. The blooms are spectacular; however, the nasty leathery fruits fall on the ground under the oleanders and either my dog gets them or I end up hitting them with the lawnmower. The ones that grow in my yard don't strike me as edible. However, they have that green odd smell, just like this perfume. I wish mark. would release more fragrances...they are always quirky and interesting.

The note matrix is simple and really says it all. This is mainly a sweet-tart summery passionfruit fragrance. If you love passionfruit, this will be really enjoyable for you. I found it pleasant, but very linear. The drydown is a soft sweet musk, and it lasts about 4 hours with 6 sprays. Very body-spray like in it's longevity and sillage. I really enjoy the annual offerings of Mark vacation scents, and I'm glad I had a chance to buy this. Unfortunately, passionfruit really isn't my thing, so I'll be passing this one along to someone else.

Nothing in Buenos Aires screams Passionfruit. It isn’t a tropical place at all.
