mark Rebel Rose

I bought this right away after smelling the sample that came out when the fragrance was new. I love rose perfumes and this one is a lively beauty! The pink pepper in here is a treat, it almost sparkles up front and helps the fragrance last. And the vanilla is not the gross kind of vanilla that makes me puke! It's like an easy-going vanilla that kind of settles back into the pretty rose and lively pepper, like a jazzy background pianist that you can barely hear, but you recognize the life it gives to the band. I've had the opposite impression with other peppery rose perfumes where the vanilla is as thick as pudding, so this is quite the opposite, and a winner for me. One of the few perfumes I'll wear any time of year! It's especially great for cooler summer nights. Discontinued of course but I love it.

This ones smells like sweet roses. I don't remember smelling anything musky on it. The sillage on it isn't bad and its about a moderate smell. You can purchase this item one ebay or amazon for about 40 to 50 bucks.

I went through a major phase of Avon perfumes (mainly because I was working as an LPN in a local hospital and many of my coworkers sold for Avon). I am a major fan of rose based perfumes (my husband calls them "eau d'old lady") and I had to get my hands on Rebel Rose. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as strong a rose as I was looking for. The pink pepper was rather overwhelming at first, but after dry down, it was rather nice. I may still have my bottle somewhere in my perfume cabinet, and if I do, I will probably wear it again.

I'm so wary of anything rose scented because it almost always smells incredibly artificial and is headache inducing. This perfume smells like a luscious rose bush thats wet with morning dew. Very fresh & sweet, well done rose perfume.

a very soft, green, dewy rose; barely there and gentle with an animalic musky drydown; no pink pepper or vanilla that I detect; pretty but not magnificent in comparison with all the other rose fragrance I have; a like not a love
