Breathe

The Apothecary fragrance lineup is surprisingly pleasant for the quality you are getting! I bought Breathe a couple of months ago, and I still find it a spring/fall fragrance that can also be great for warmer weather. Considering the quality, a 50ml bottle of it for about $18 is almost a steal. It is undeniable that this smells nearly therapeutic considering the note breakdown of eucalyptus, thyme, bergamot, and vetiver, but not in a negative sense where it smells like every spa place, but as an energizing and uplifting fragrance that is crafted very well. When it comes to the note breakdown: - The eucalyptus and thyme are the notes immediately present upon first smell, and it does not smell harsh at all, just like many poorly made fresh/citrus fragrances. - The bergamot adds tartness and some complexity or elegance, whichever you want to identify it. It follows the top notes but with moderation, which would counteract the idea of smelling like any citrus-scented cleaning product. - Lastly, the vetiver is present but subtly to add the base of the perfume; it may affect its unisex profile to masculine, but ever so slightly. But it is still a great addition! Overall, Breathe is a fantastic fragrance, and it would be easily considered a designer fragrance if more complex notes were added. It is an excellent buy for people who prefer fresh fragrances, and it can be used in cool to very warm weather, preferably in the day, but there's no reason why it shouldn't pulled off also on night-time events. It's for me a (9.2/10), and I would highly recommend to at least try it. (Sidenote: I don't know what the user below me [Amen! Hallelujah!] was thinking when he did the review [I mean the profile looks like an AI generated picture, but yeah I just noticed that-], unless he smelled like Chlorox or something instead of the perfume itself-)

I really like this, I think it's a great deal for the price. It's a pretty sharp herbal refreshing scent, and works really nicely layered with something sweeter as well as on its own.

Truly vile and cheap, and most of all, extremely weak! Dry down is an unpleasant, harsh and screechy vetiver only, and nothing else to play off of. It's extremely badly formulated and cheaply made! Even for the ridiculous price, I'd advise to AVOID!

For £12 it's a total no brainer,I love it and I've hundreds of fragrances. I put off buying it for ages as it's so inexpensive,I sometimes have a mental block,if it's cheap,I don't have as much confidence in it. I just spray it in the air sometimes,it's a calming scent,I agree with the people on here who say it smells spa like,but there is nothing wrong with that. Lasts a good amount of time, sure it's not going to last forever of knock people over from 15 feet away,but it's not for that. Beautiful personal scent to uplift yourself and anyone lucky enough to smell it.
