Florentyna White Flowers

I bought this today when M&S ran a 50% discount day in the lead up to Christmas. I really should have been buying presents for others but couldn't help treating myself as the price was amazing. This smells very like Flower by Cynthia Rowley which I also own and love. The opening is pure lily, my favourite flower, and remains unchanged for about 2 hours until it dries down to a lovely white floral. Very lovely indeed!

I was gifted this by my second mother who always looked after me when my mum was at work. She was about 80 at the time and M&S was, and still is always, her shopping destination of choice for Christmas gifts. I remember opening it and really not liking the scent, as someone else has said, it can be headache inducing and I felt that the fragrance was very mature for me (I was in my late 20s). The lily and jasmine really pack a punch here. I did persist with his though and I finished the bottle within a year or two. By the end, I did like it. It smelt clean, but old fashioned. I did love the cold frosted heavy glass bottle though, it was very tactile. I wouldn't repurchase this scent at all, it really wasn't me, but I do think that M&S have some good scents for their price range and the longevity on this wasn't bad at 3-4 hours.

To echo the other reviews, this is indeed lovely. Delicate, fresh, abit powdery. Straight-up floral and white, no woods, no greens, no fruits. Before checking the notes here, I thought I was smelling lilies and gardenias with a light touch of clean musk *shrugs*...close enough. It's cheap but the quality is very decent. Not something I'd wear outside the house as it's too simple and it does have abit of a 'room-mist' vibe going on (the good kind though, not the sharp chemical ones), but it would make a lovely comfort scent to wear at bedtime or around the house for a lily-lover like myself. I would use it to spray my pillows and sheets as well. It was a warm-ish night when I tried it, sillage is soft on my skin, longevity around 3-4 hours. I will get myself a bottle the next time I head to M&S.

This is a great flanker, well-blended white flowers that are soft, feminine, and classy. £12 for a large bottle, it lasts long, 6 to 8 hours, when people walk past you they will smell you even if they don't feel compelled to say anything. If you are the less is more type of girl that just wants a classy perfume for when you go out or everyday use and you want people to smell you but you aren't looking for complaints this is pretty perfect for what it is. Also, you will still smell this in any weather, hot, cold rainy, or humid.

Well it's called white flowers and that's what you get. I grow lilium orientale and this is a very good attempt at capturing that intense fragrance. It opens up really strong but it soon settles and is very nice. I find it perfect for wearing on a lovely spring day. I can only just about detect the jasmine. I think it's a great value cheapy and definitely one to keep in my wardrobe. Moderate sillage and longevity. .

Oh.my.word. This stuff is amazing. Far, far superior to the original Florentyna (which is a most detestable fragrance). This is just white flowers, but clean and fresh, and CHEAP. I loved it so much that I got the 100ml bottle, but for £12. I mean, come on, that's an amazing deal, and it is far better than other designer white flower scents I've tried. Husband loved it, I loved it- great perfume for drugstore price.

This is a white lily soliflore on me, which is what I was looking for. However, there's not a hint of green or freshness, it's very dry and powdery, which is not what I wanted. Smells "old fashioned" and stuffy at first, but that does wear off and then you get just soft lily for a long time. I'm going to try layering it with something very dewy and green, to see if I an get the effect I want.

I remember loving the fragrance but it was hard for me to wear because it caused me to have some allergies. It was a bit suffocating and gave me headache but the weird thing is, this was happening time to time not every time I wore it. Ps I have allergic reaction to Marc Jacobs Honey too.

Definitely the best fragrance in the Florentyna line. I cannot wear the original as I find it too heavy and sickly. White Flowers is in a different league altogether!. Its a gorgeous white floral bouquet. From the first spray I loved it and I've gone through many bottles. For the price - it's exceptional. When I first sprayed it, it immediately reminded me of Madonna Truth or Dare. I cannot wear TorD as somehow it becomes cloying on me. White Flowers smells to me like the fragrance you get when you walk into a room and smell lilies. I adore that smell and WF is the closest to that fragrance. I recently bought another bottle of WF, sprayed it and NOOO!! It smells different!. I was so disappointed I put it in my M&S box of fragrances and I've left it there. I will have another try in warmer weather to see if its still the same.

This is a very pretty floral fragrance that does not turn sour on my skin or give me a headache. The scent reminds me of a cold cream and is very delicate fragrance which lasts very long both on clothes and skin. Sillage is good and remains close to the skin. The scent i detect is soft jasmine and lily - very pretty floral and one of the finest i've smelt. Far better than the original Florentyna which smells completely different and superior in quality - easily can pass for a niche fragrance.

upon first sniff, i am drawn to it. but i hvn purchased it for fear that wearing it down the day would give me a headache. my fren commented it smells like a toilet's cleanliness...lol! too artificially fresh perhaps? anw, this should be a good one (: i q like it!

The signature scent of my dear mother in law. Sweet and clean. Love to buy it for me but she wears it like a diva without even trying, at 65. Let her alone be of its scent. She's gone but whenever we smell florentyna white flowers, we always address it as "her".

Very soft and classic lilies with a hint of woodsy green iris. Smells very expensive and rare. An epitome of purity. As someone has already said, this could pass for a high quality three-note fragrance. Will definitely repurchase.

Longevity is good compared to the price. Smelled nice when I tested but while using, the scent felt heavy to me during the day. I got bored of it and could not finish a bottle. Gives a bit of a home scent feeling to me.

I love this and had to wear it today to counteract the cold winter weather with its promise of spring and fresh blooms. It has decent longevity, but is not overpowering and I love the prominent lily note.

It smell Like clean laundry at my grandma closet;).and it's compliment confident safe smell with retro notes of whight flowers hand cream:). Very powerful and good for cold rainy season:)

Clean, green, fresh, white floral. Perfect for summer. Extremely long lasting.
