Island Sunset Sea Salt & Amber

My boyfriend just got me this as a surprise, I had never smelled it before but he really liked it. I must say he does have a good nose, because this is delightful. Contrary to a few reviews saying this is wintery, I’d have to disagree and say this smells like being on a lovely sunny holiday. The initial spray smells as if you’re ready to head down to the beach and drink cocktails with your friends, the dry down smells like a beautiful sensual summers night. I was expecting the longevity to not be the best, but it still stays strong on the skin 8+ hours after spraying. The sillage after the first hour isn’t great, it’s definitely one that sits closer to the skin. Overall I’d say it’s very much worth it. Scent: 8/10 Projection: 6/10 Longevity: 8/10 Versatility: 6/10 (it’s definitely more one for summer) Price (at full price): 10/10 Overall: 7.6/10

Very similar to Olympea (and can see the similarity to Pure XS too), but better, it doesn't have the harsh peppery opening. For me it's too heavy for summer, it's better suited for autumn or even winter imo. Very pretty bottle and amazingly well priced. Unfortunately now discontinued.

I am pretty sure this was out before 2019 because I bought this on one random trip to M&S ages ago nice fun sweet vanilla amber scent, really nice, easy reach for casual wear one of their better performing and smelling perfumes most of their stuff vanishes in like 5 minutes but this is nice, decent value for money and easy dumb reach. girly, generic, pretty

I feel like I smelt this a thousand times already. Very boring modern generic pretty girly perfume. Floral.
