Orange Blossom & Amber

I was pleasantly surprised by this perfume. It actually does smell like Coco Chanel! I would say it is a more delicate, less spicy version, but very nice. It lasts a reasonable length of time on the skin and until the next morning on clothes. I will be going back for the 100 ml bottle as soon as I have finished the 30 ml, it is well worth the money. Edit - I have been wearing this for a few days now and would say it is one of my favourite perfumes :) (and I have tried a few over the years!)

I sniffed this & immediately fell in love!!! 😍 It’s dark, sweet but incensey & smokey.. Very fitting for Autumn. 🍂 I sprayed it all over my jumper & bought a 30ml.. for an EDT has pretty decent silage and longevity, on clothes anyway! It was wafting around me all day. If I finish this 30ml, I will most likely get 100ml next time. Brilliant price too. 💕

Purchased this in the January Sales and wow this truly is lovely. My initial reaction was that it is reminiscent of Knowing by Estee Lauder which I adore but just not as strong. I will over spray this with abandon!

I only got this because of the "reminds me of section" saying it smells like Coco and I was in the mood for a vintage smelling amber and for GBP6 it wasn't a risk. I have only tested Coco once, many years ago and I remember it was nuclear strength and that I didn't like the cloves. Orange Blossom & Amber isn't nuclear, I find it to be on the gentle side, which also makes it very wearable for every day. I honestly thought it reminded me of YSL Opium, which makes sense as both are resin and amber scents. Happy I got this with the autumn fast approaching.

A pleasant, lightly spiced Amber, not overly sweet on my skin. It has a hint of cinnamon that gives warmth, and the jasmine, orange blossom and ylang ylang don’t make it overpoweringly heady in the way some white floral scents can. At first sniff, you'd never guess the price point, but it becomes more apparent after a couple of hours, as, like most of the M&S discover ranges, it doesn't linger very long.

Last night at a Christmas event I air kissed a female I hardly see and she said oh you smell nice - coco Chanel? I decided to be honest and said it was M&S. she needed to know the name as she was running out of coco Chanel. I couldn’t remember - except the ugly coloured bottle, so I texted when I got home. It’s really similar and passed the test last night x

Wow surprised by this, peppery and earthy on me. Call me a peasant but I prefer it to my old almost empty bottle of coco. 2 sprays [wrists and neck] still going strong 5 hours. I keep getting wafts of sweet, earthy spice. Absolute bargain, most dupes or cheapies disappoint me but I will buy this again.

When I smelled it in the store, I fell in love. It had this blend of incense, floral scents, and amber that just got me. I don't think it's the kind of smell for everyone; it's a unique scent. PS: there's no incense on the notes but it did smells like that to me

This really is close to Chanel’s Coco EDP. It’s equally as strong so when spraying ‘less is more’. Might not last as long but for this price it’s pretty darn good already. It’s a heavy scent so it’s better suited for autumn and winter months.

This is the less spicy but the same dna as coco, I like coco and the cloves don’t bother me, this smells perfect for colder months maybe fall too it’s not overpowering the silage is okay. Orangey–Ambery–sweet–spice

Tested this today and I don't think I've ever hated a fragrance more. There were no tester strips but the description of the notes sounded promising so I sprayed it directly onto my wrist and honestly it was horrifying. It immediately smelled like every nasty stinky perfume that grown up ladies were wearing in the 80s. If you walked into a department store's beauty section in 1988 this is what it smelled like. Horrid, acrid, cloying, overwhelming, and with an undercurrent of rotting carrots which I often perceive from perfumes of this type. All the meanest girls at my primary school had mothers who smelled like this whenever they got dressed up. Can't comment on longevity because I couldn't scrub it off fast enough.

Well as I was wandering inMarks the other day I just sniffed it briefly and had a the shock of my life I thought I sniffed Coco .. I sniffed again and again and the same thought .. so I bought it in the end .. it is not the same but very very similar to Coco .. silage and longevity is decent too ..

Omg coco edt if my nose hasn’t deceived me!! I sprayed this and the coco edt on the other wrist and I just couldn’t tell them apart! The orange blossom and amber is lighter and doesn’t last as long but it’s not that weaker either seeing that the reformulated coco is weaker than what it used to be!

This is a great Coco dupe almost like a body mist quality as longevity isn’t much. But does the job short while and no headaches!
