When I originally smelled 50 ml d'Ambiguïté (the original formulation and precursor to Ambilux) in 2017 I was enthralled by how it was incredibly dirty and almost foul it smelled: a propulsive pong penetrating the nostrils with all manner of human funk, urine-soaked drawers, unbathed bodies and sweating orifices. It was unnerving but utterly fascinating—seeming more like olfactory art, a post-modern cultural object disrupting the landscape of proper and pleasant hygiene—to remind us of our not so civilized and compliant feral nature as human animals. I just couldn't bring myself to wear it. It felt TOO palpable, too authentic, to the point that it would feel almost unseemly to subject myself, my body, to others while it was on my skin. I did admire it, though. When it was reformulated (and refined?) with its new name, Ambilux, some have argued that something was lost: of course there are those detractors who ride the (im)purity spiral that declares original formulations are always superior, as if to reward themselves with more credibility. I, however, while believing this is on the very precipice of decency, flirting dangerously with that red line where the skank is just too much for public consumption, feel it is no longer verging on disturbing. It's erotic, it's dirty, but it's also more of a perfume, allowing ylang-ylang, wildflowers, and weeds to co-mingle with salty sweat, warm and flush skin, nether regions after copulation. It's perverted when up close, but shaped more like a perfected animalic, spicy floral musk in its sillage. It's oily, vegetal, woolly, has that greasy-behind-the-ears, sebum-on-the-cheeks costus, with more cumin than it's predecessor, still vaguely pissy, courtesy of castoreum, and there's a dry smoke especially as it settles like perspiration dripping onto unlaundered bed sheets. It's like punk rock sex, a mattress without a boxspring, right on the floor, Wire's Pink Flag blaring. Ambilux is still so daring, and it's intimidating to wear it on my skin, but at least now I am willing to wear it and allow it to take me where it wants to go. It is definitely a 9 on the skank-o-rama scale (vs 10 as d'Ambiguïté), one of those most animalic scents I've experienced—absolutely brilliant.

I have never been attracted to this brand. Their bottle designs, names, the fact that they brand themselves as being all about animalics all feel contrived and unappealing, even as an enjoyer of animalic notes. But my local niche perfume store, Ministry of Scent in San Francisco, recently began carrying Marlou, so I had to try. I was blown away. And I walked out with a bottle of Ambilux. Ambilux is, yes, animalic (in spirit and inspiration, at least). Sun-dried sidewalk piss, armpit and groin sweat, unwashed hair will all come to mind at various points. I find this much more feral than, say, the warm furs of Serge Lutens Muscs Koublaï Khan or the strong indoles and dried saliva of Parfums d’Empire Musc Tonkin. At the same time, it is far from chaotic. There is a tight, beautiful structure to this scent, recalling the best of the early days of niche perfumery, and even sporting some strikingly “clean” touches. The opening pairs the controversial cumin note with pink pepper in what is essentially a classic aromatic accord taken to new extremes. The pink pepper even lends a brisk, almost soapy clean touch. Then we are led into pissy indoles, a fluffy musk accord, and greasy costus that frame a lean, orderly incense bouquet, almost with a CdG type profile, and not too distant from the chilly, ultra-soapy Incense Extreme from Tauer Perfumes. Indeed, I anticipate that Ambilux will function as a cold weather alternative to Incense Extreme in my collection. Later in the drydown, Ambilux yields to a gorgeous immortelle note and the frank closeups turn into atmospheric wide shots, Barry Lyndon style. And so, I should not be surprised that I love Ambilux. It combines many of my favorite notes and genres: animalic powerhouse, chilly cerebral incense, and dry hillside aromatic cologne. I can’t exactly say that the fearsome reputation of this perfume isn’t justified—it is. This is probably the most challenging perfume in my collection in terms of potential bodily gross out factor. But the gorgeous composition, the wonderful treatment of aromatic and incense notes, makes this a far more captivating fragrance than you might expect.

So many feelings from this one... I’m exploring animalics, and of the samples I received this was the most “body” like. It smelled like straight piss when I first put it on around 4 pm. Immediately after application, my dog reacted by making eye contact and putting his snout in the air giving several marked sniffs. Real talk. I was really intrigued by the description- “elegant, quaint, unnerving”. Incongruent descriptors. Here is my take on how at least two of those work. Quaint: d’ambiguite had a note through its early phase that smelled liked a lambs wool teddy bear I had as child. Seems pretty quaint. Webster’s dictionary also describes quaint as being attractively unusual... This perfume smells like poorly performing deodorant, gentle body funk overcoming “good” smells. I like it, though. Unnerving: It reminds me of the type of person who laughs uninhibitedly, drinks wine freely. It reminds me of the summer, when intimate smells become more pronounced due to fewer clothes and heat. It takes me to a more carefree time in my life, when there were less harsh realities, fewer obligations. I wouldn’t trade where I am now to go back, but this perfume reminds me I can always visit. If it’s elegant, it’s because the composition is so well done. Ignoring the initial urinous note that comes on strong, the composition is expertly balanced throughout. Ambiguite never smells bad or grotesque. Intimate and familiar odors are celebrated deftly. As far as longevity, 7 hours in it’s dried down but still very present. (I also woke up with it faintly lingering on my wrists the next day). The cumin has largely tapered off and incense, animalics, and ylang ylang remain. Not a lot of projection/sillage from the application as a sample, however I have l’animal sauvage from the same house and the bottle sprays are generous and fan out. It projects much better with that application. Edit: also works well as an animalic base to layer with perfumes that need a special kick.

This is very stinky, and I mean this in the sense that this is the living embodiment of stinkiness. However! I would not dare say it's revolting or foul, as some other reviewers have. Now, would a fellow individual on their morning commute on the metro appreciate this? I'll be honest - probably not. But I personally find this to be a very charming stink, if you will. It's comforting in a weird way for me, it's very human but in a "we're a part of the animal kingdom too" way. Definitely was not a fan of this on first sniff, but once I spent a day adorning this I came to really fancy it (you may also take this to signify that Ambilux lasted the whole day on me). Obviously, the cumin and the castoreum are the main contributors to the stank factor of this "knockout" of a fragrance, both are incredibly prominent. It's very animalic, very spicy, and very warm. I don't get the piss notes, but I do get the "wild and dirty animal on a hot summer day" vibes. I'm also the type of person to find comfort in the scent of their old smelly dog, I think this is an important factor of the experience (and this is very much an experience). I don't think you would appreciate this if you find nature, stink, animals, etc. to be gross and shy away from them. Wouldn't wear this everyday, but I enjoy it when I want to be a "nuisance" in public spaces. Oh, and obviously this isn't a safe blind buy, but it's definitely worth the experience in my opinion. I like the concept of getting away from the awfully boring flowery, fruity, and clean everyday city life, being human is pretty gruesome and gross after all. Try it!

After going back and forth on the samples of Marlou ́s 3 perfumes, which I found all to be masterpieces, I knew I wanted one of them. So I ordered a full bottle of Ambilux, that clicked for me by the first sniff. It is an absolute beauty. On my skin sadly the wonderful spicy-bounchy cuminy opening lasts only for 20 minutes. But the heart of this frag keeps on going forever and stays pretty still. It is not a story telling scent rather than a fragrance of the state. I ́m definitely getting that warm animalic funky pissy skank, but it ́s wrapped in incence, spice, cumin, costus, ylang and herbs. The cumin and costus (never smelled costus before, but it must be that) are creating the bridge between the flora and fauna. Somehow this scent puts me in front of an old village church by the forest. This is an old orthodox church with historical local pagan influences. It is late summer or early autumn and everything is turning golden slowly. At the side of the church there is a field of wild plants that are partly withered. In the forest behind there are fly agarics and often the bears and foxes and other wild creatures are lurking around, minding their own business. The sunday service has just ended, and everything stands still. People in the church, animals in the forest, plants on the field, autumn sun in the sky. Love this scent so much! Update: I have not encountered any repulsive reactions from anyone yet. I ́m aware that Ambilux might rub someone the wrong way, and is certainly not everybody ́s taste, but it is absloutely not as challenging as some of the reviews would lead you to think.

The opening is bracing, probably the most viscerally and vividly carnal I’ve encountered in perfumery. I consider myself an acolyte of the Cult of Cumin, and it is deployed beautifully and idiosyncratically here. Cumin’s role in conjuring the erotic is not new. It plays a critical part in the hedonistic romp that is PdE’s Aziyade (a favorite of mine). But where Aziyade is an impressionistic sexual fantasia, Ambilux is a work of almost clinical realism. It is the embodied experience of inhaling the aromas of a lover lying beneath you (or perhaps those of their cast off, damp undergarments). So, is Ambilux just a CdG-type parlor trick? What is it beyond what it remarkably recreates with photorealistic accuracy? Is there more to it? I believe so. The base is beautifully blended, with pissy/feral/lived-in aromas playing bizarrely against an intriguing incense accord. Ambilux has proven to be a shapeshifter on my skin. Some days, incense dominates — a lovely and subtle unlit Japanese incense aroma. Other days, the costus consumes everything — amber, leather, and humid petting zoo. Sometimes I can find bright pink peppercorn in the opening, and sugary ylang ylang is there among the aromas of sweating, rutting bodies. Immortelle and castoreum I find to play supplemental but important roles, the former rounding out the honeyed aspects of the heart and the latter bolstering the intensely animalic base. What a wonderful thing for a perfume to elicit such extreme reactions. In this medium, divisiveness is, for me, a mark of high distinction.

When I tested this at my local niche perfume shop my nose didn't pick up anything on the strip...maybe I was become anosmic from smelling so many things...so I decided to put it on skin; my eyes lit up with delight, facination, curiosity, and craving. I was hypnotized and enamored having found a truly unique fragrance that was able to satiate my love of animalics. When you wear this fragrance it's like stepping into the living skin of some strange yet enticing animal. You become a shape-shifting beast of sorts, emenating a musky, urine-esque aura of photo-realistic sweat slicked, unbathed swamp-crotch that's soaked in pheromones and primally magnetic. It's base-level desire in a bottle. My nose immediately got the cumin, but I was so glad that it did not go culinary in nature. Elements of hay and faint leather from the helicrysum and immortelle provide a dirty/earthy aspect. The incense is faint but supportive. Smooth, creamy, animalically sweet, warm, slightly humid, the slightest hint of powder which I have appreciated from castoreum before. I would agree that this might feel vintage, but I feel it's vintage in a way that OG orientals and chypres would use cumin and/or coriander, like with Sinan and Coriandre. That's where I feel the urine element is most familiar; it's not sharp, purulent, or malordorus...it's alluringly musky. Yes, this fragrance is incredibly polarizing. But it's also obsessive and possessive. It's our natural state on full display, unabashed and wanting. I love it. 9/10

The hate and disgust this inspires baffles me. It’s a gorgeous blend! When people say how awful “crotch” or “sweat” smells, I have to wonder: Whose crotch or sweat are you smelling? Fresh human sweat (sweet cumin, not dusty or rank), and cleanly oily sweaty human skin (costus), in high humidity, with a lightly wet leathery warmth (castoreum), is a great scent combo! This gem also has sweet, syrupy, Kouros-like urinous facets. It seems like a sweet Civet though that note isn’t official. On me, it gets dirty and I love that fact. If you have ever inhaled the cork from a bottle of German Ice Wine or chateau d'yquem (or another sweet white), and add some leathery darkness & light cumin, that’s 50 ml d’Ambiguité. Good Wine can be crotchy and cheese should be stinky. When my fiends do NOT know about the negative reviews, they love it. I love it so much I bought two full bottles direct from Marlou in Paris. Their service is superb. So yes, it’s a crotch... a GREAT fresh yet nasty sweet slightly leathered syrupy oily urinous one that is “clean dirty” or “dirty clean.” Mmmmm. If the fresh fresh fresh citrus or gourmand sweet blah blah is your measure of a nice frag, why bother with Animalics? This is a powerhouse Animalic. Unlike my other animalics, very unique with costus. Greasy, humid, thick. Uniqueness: 9 of 10 (GO COSTUS! Triple threat of the “C’s”—Costus, Castoreum, Cumin, YEAH!) Longevity: 10 of 10 (BEASTLY). 2 sprays lasts days, and why shower? Projection and Silage: 8-9 of 10.

A Follow up. I ́ve been wearing ambilux on and off for more than half a year now, and it is my absolute favorite perfume so far. I`m really surprised by reading of how intolerable some people find it. Of course our noses are different and that is okay. For each hes/her own. To me it is not just a fragrance, it is a medicine. It has this gentle quality of being fleshy, human and sacred, etheric at the same time. The way the skank of cumin, costus and castoreum plays together with ylang, pink pepper, incense and the florals is beyond this world. The whole composition has the quality of being waxy and very dry at the same time. It ́s sweet, salty, peppery, skanky. And still this does not feel like a frag with juxtaposed scent play. These seemingly opposite parts that I mentioned come together with such balance that is hard to describe. Ambilux has a pretty minimalistic composition, but the result is way bigger than the sum of its parts. It feels almost like it is a living being with a warm soul in a liquid form. I ́m at this point half way through my second bottle of this and most likely order soon a new one. My only wish would be that the opening of this would last a bit longer. Love it!

This scent is absolutely not how I expected based on what people say on Fragrantica. I wanted to find something deeply dirty and animalic, as others describe it as smelling like stale old underwear drenched in piss, but it really isn't. It opens up feeling full of life. It feels spicy, warm, punchy and even slightly gourmandy. It has a very gentle smoke in there too which has this really nice cosy feel to it. I was getting really excited about this fragrance, however sadly after a few minutes I'm finding a lot of that character disappears and it becomes very flat. What you're left with is mostly to me the smell of cumin and castoreum, which isn't my favourite combination. I don't hate it, even though when I let my girlfriend smell it was an instant repulsion from her and she said she hates it, so I guess this could be more polarising than I may personally detect, and I guess some of the other reviews on here reflects that. Definitely not a blind buy fragrance, and if you're looking for something dirty and animalic I feel like this isn't exciting enough to really recommend.

Welp, here we have quite the pissy little lilac. Like, literally pissy... as in urine. Oh, and excrement! This may sound crude, but I mean this in the most endearing way possible. The overall tone of this fragrance reminds me of a rural barnyard smelt from a distance while standing in a dry wheat and white flower field on a humid day. At the start I get that sweet pissiness, grandma’s dusty wooden furniture that’s been locked up in a warm basement for years, sweaty sex, and a deep cumin. As it opens up, I’m getting some of the floral notes mixed in with the rest and a bit of vinegar and lacquer. After a few hours all this mellows out quite a bit while maintaining all these notes while blending with an amberish incense overglow. Not getting much of the leather but I’m sure it’s in there. I’m just too busy imagining myself standing in that field viewing the barnyard animals from a distance roll around in a mixture of mud, hay, and their own waste. It’s glorious.

I quickly exhausted a sample and found it memorable enough that I bought a bottle about a year later. I think some of the reviews are letting the tail wag the dog a bit. I don't get much of anything fecal or "bad breath" like I do when I take a whiff from my jar of pure indole crystals. On these notes, I think this perfume is probably cleaner-smelling than things like Bal a Versailles, No. 5, and many others. This registers more clearly as skanky because it doesn't have much else to counterbalance it. There's no bouquet of flowers or basket of fruits here. The dirty aspects are laid bare. I don't think it smells like bad BO, though I do think it smells like good BO. Actually, excellent BO. A kind of sweaty musk, not entirely unlike Kiehl's Original Musk or Muscs Koublai Kahn but dirtier still. There is definitely cumin, but it's well-blended and isn't anything like the spice straight-up. Potent and lasts forever, so spritz carefully.

this smells like a skankier, muskier, less herbaceous version of carduus by jorum studio. it starts off as intense cumin and incense; so smokey and deep. very noticeable pepper too which adds a kick of spiciness. it quickly settles down into a spicy carnal musk. extremely dirty and erotic. vaginal discharge that’s been marinating on some knickers for a while, dried sweat, scalp and piss, with a hint of old book, sour citrus and a distant flutter of something floral. pungent and intoxicating bodily excretions. extremely skanky and primal; it’s so natural it hardly smells like a chemically formulated perfume. this whole line really is something special. i want to come back to write a more expansive review on this after i’ve spent more time with it. it’s the most ferocious scent out of the 4 and all i’ve said right now isn’t substantial enough for my liking... for now i’m just basking in it. can’t stop smelling myself.
- em inglês
Opening is just photo realistic 3 day old underwear drenched in piss. There's no other way to describe it. However, this extremely sharp and photo realistic urinous note disappears very quickly and becomes more musky, not clean floral musky, but stinky urinous, old deer musk kind of smell. At this stage, it reminds me of the original formulation of Kiehl's musk that's been macerating on my desk for 10 years. The opening is quite shocking but give it a little time. It quickly develops into something more wearable, sexy and sensual. Smoke and leather notes are not as prominent as I expected. It is an animalic scent but not very animal-like but rather HUMAN smell. There are different types of BO from different parts of the body. With Ambilux, I get a little bit of unwashed hair and a lot of unwashed crotch and butt(not fecal at all, but only sweaty). The only thing is I wish is if it projected a little better.

I made this blind purchase based on the polarizing reviews of Ambilux. Those revolted by the scent enticed me to buy a whole bottle. I had to experience what stirred such extreme emotion. Ambilux was a fascinating scent, and I couldn't help but sniff myself all day and night. I'm 75 years old and haven't had sex for at least twenty years. Ambilux brought back memories of amorous adventures, and the scent was exciting for this old soul. Because I'm not out in public too often, I don't have to concern myself with others and their reactions. However, at my age, I couldn't care less. After several hours, I smelled the sweetness, and there was a hint of sidewalk pee reminiscent of Seattle's downtown blocks. However, it wasn't obnoxious and, in a way, tantalizing. Ambilux is a triumph of perfumery.

I'm having a visceral memory.. During fashion week I had to get up early to get to my friend's show and was soooo hungover that I chucked on a plain black top from my floor and started caking myself in makeup and baccarat 540 to conceal my exhaustion and ran out the door. When I sat down at the show surrounded by scary fashion people, I smelled something soooooo funky and gross and realised my poor elderly incontinent cat had pissed on the top I was wearing !! I was so worried people would notice but everyone said they loved my perfume... You'd be surprised how often people will label something "interesting" thats actually gross when they don't know the truth!!! ANYWAY thats exactly what Ambilux reminds me of. B540, cat piss and unwashed hungover girl. Kind of a slay LOL

Imagine you've managed to get close to someone of the opposite sex you've greatly desired and longed for, and after a nice event, dinner, and drinks in the July heat, you go home, sweat profusely while making love like crazy in the warm Mediterranean climate, inhaling their sweat and deriving immense pleasure and lust from it. This perfume is like taking someone you've always wanted to bed and making love to them, inhaling their scent to your heart's content. This perfume has an incredibly high sexual drive; it's a true sex perfume, precious for those who know what they want and have a discerning nose. Never buy it blindly. This is a very passionate and lustful human sweat perfume. It's masterfully crafted and needs a story.
- em inglês
First I wanna say that while this is animalic in the sense that it’s comprised of animalic notes, I would hesitate to describe it as animalic. This is totally human. I imagine this smells like a man who’s been sweating by a fire he’s stoked for a couple days and finally takes his clothes off to bathe. BO initially hits you like a train. I recognize the cumin and pepper but after that I’m totally entranced and caught up in it that I don’t care what the notes are, just that I need the man who’s been stoking that fire. This is spit, ripe armpits, dirty ass, unwashed balls. This is after an impulsive hookup with a bear at 3 after partying all night. So dirty and sexy and stinky and a little perverted. Perfect.
- em inglês
Hell yes! I love animalic scents, especially the smell of a handsome young man's armpit that comes across in a properly balanced cumin note. But all too often, animalic perfumes push the opposite end of the spectrum with over the top vintage rose accords and tinges of ivory soap. You have to enjoy an old fashioned grand dame perfume to get your nose on the funky stuff in a sort of balancing of polar opposites. But 50 ml d'ambiguite delivers on the dirty notes alone. They're still refined and smoothed out into a gorgeous and wearable, dark and sexy fragrance. But it's a feast for us animalic scent pervs. Heaven sent! Don't let Luca Turin and other wusses lead you astray! This is sex in a bottle.

while many thing can be said or written about this one, but I'm gonna just say that this smells like all the wonderful magical intimate moments with women I've been with. when you get to the midst of it, there's nothing actually vulgar or perverse here; just sweet warmth and delicate affection. it's touching how humane this is, it's pure intentions and opening yourself completely for someone special, no matter what went wrong later, you were authentic, and it's a smell of that authenticity. with all that said, I personally wear it in the evening/ night, right before going to sleep. it's extremely cosy and warm, gives a kind of "hug" feeling
- em inglês
Smells great once it settles down. The opening is challenging to say the least. I totally understand references to nursing homes and homeless people and bacterial decay. It’s weird though because I don’t find the resemblence offensive. With real life rotten smells (like a rotting tooth or a porta potty) I am absolutely repulsed by these smells. But in perfume I find them fascinating, even appetizing (this and Salome by Papillon). I can’t quite decide if I need a full bottle of this but it’s a new favorite and I think the key to pulling it off is putting it on atleast 15 minutes before you leave the house.
- em inglês
Just got a tester and tbh was intimidated to even smell it at first but to me it’s extremely soft and very very easy to wear. I get some body-ish smell in it , like after an intense workout sweaty smell but it’s so comforting . It’s also a bit old fashioned (aldehydes ?) to my nose as well, some sweetness is present and some soap. A weird combination but my nose is messing with me post-pandemic.. it feels like a nice hug and is very relaxing Definitely no stink but I like some animalic stink anyway and maybe I’m just immune to that already
- em inglês
This has the funkiness of some Aftelier scents like memento mori and ciur gardenia. Like numerous combined unwashed body odors from different parts of the body. Unfortunately I love it. There’s still an elegance about it, and while I couldn’t tolerate my samples of Aftelier’s funky scents when I first tried them like 6 years ago, I still find myself craving the funk. Not many perfumes go full funk like this. It’s primal and somehow quite sexy. I think it opens on the masculine side and dries down to a very intriguing unisex aura.
- em inglês
Everyone is correct. Wet panties, body drenched in sweat, and faint baby powder. So fucking good. Not nearly as loud as another pisser like Untamable by IA but much more erotic and gentle. I, personally, do not have a piss kink but maybe I'd give it another shot after enjoying this. I don't think this is aggressive enough to avoid a full wear out in public. If anything it's a very human-y scent that is likely to blend with your own in a fun way. I will be testing that idea at some point though. Gorgeous fragrance.
- em inglês
im new to the world of smells and i picked this as one of my first scents to test out because i saw a very specific review that enticed me. i would feel a little..how do i say...jealous on behalf of my lover that other people may smell me ..wearing this in public so i spray two spritz on myself some odd days before bed and i fall asleep huffing my wrists. maybe one day i can leave the house with this on but not soon i feel. its addicting and i love it and i want no one else but me to wear it
- em inglês
With this on, I don't think anyone would ask "Oh, what 'perfume' are you wearing??" It is like a human's scent in a bottle. I was searching for it. I love it more than any other perfume I have or have smelled so far because it registers to the nose like something absolutely natural. Nothing artificial or perfumey. Longevity is thankfully more than satisfying, reaching 10-12 hours consistently. Up until the 10th hour, I detect it on me without trying. Really happy I found it :D
- em inglês
I cannot get enough of this one. Smells like holding your lover after sweaty sex in humid weather. Your skin is moist and your bodies are sticking together like summer thighs on a leather car seat. In any other instance you’d be repulsed and dying to get in the shower, but this moment in time is so pleasant and intimate that you want to prolong it as much as you can. Musky, salty, and powdery. Astonishing longevity. There is a very addictive quality here. Well done.
- em inglês
Just had this unique scent, I will definitely agree with the previous review for me it smells like pissed panties that you wear couple days plus yellow flowers, this underwear still has smell warm funky body odor with urine. The aggressive, kinky, and attractive perfume that hard to love but if you catch these feelings it still forever. I already bought two another perfumes from Marlou and believe he will keep his remarkable style.
- em inglês
DISGUSTING YET SO COMFORTING. Such a special perfume. Like smelling unwashed hair, mixed with urine smell. Like many have said, I don't think this is so easy to wear to a regular job, but there must be some settings where this is amazing. Has anyone tried layering this and found something that chills out the musky, animalic scent enough to make it sexy but not quite so nasty? Can't wait to try more marlou...
- em inglês
I recommend wearing this lovely kinky scent on a really hot day, to allow yourself to be drenched in the most sensual of musky body fluid fragrances. This is a truly a “your body fluids but better” scent. It’s sexy, empowering, alluring. It’s the scent of moist panties left curing for a few days in a leather purse then stuffed into the salivating mouth of a sweaty lover. It’s intoxicatingly gorgeous.
- em inglês
The sexy werewolf of perfumes. First couple of hours reminds me of a smoky leathery floral-y perfume that you can't quite put your finger on because it has been sweat through - musky, dirty, sexy, but still human. Around the 6 hour mark is a transformation into animal territory. Skanky, furry, powdery, dripping in saliva. For some reason you want to cozy up to the gross thing. Super kinky. Addicting.

I made an account to talk about this fragrance. From music to San Francisco Oh God, it's wonderful Online and culturally, to smell like warmth when it's too cold now. Asleep in my arms, she dreams of ylang in her hair. Now she is mad at me, and I wonder if she will respond. Typing now that I don't From music to San Francisco Oh God, this will be signature. mk

This smells like I'm in an old rich persons house, surrounded by dark dusty lavish furnishings and candles. A drawer full of silk hosiery that have been well-worn and no longer see the light of day with the faint remnants of perfume and sweat from their past lives. I can't stop sniffing my wrists.

wow!!! this is what all the "sex-in-a-bottle fragrances" wished they could smell like! : ) this is how imagine a 19th century parisian prostitute would smell like, and yet, it's so masculine (whatever that means!); it's decadent and classy. ambilux puts a smile on my face whenever i wear it!

What KingsRidesBy96 said is brilliant! I wanted to order Ambiguité (pre reformulated) from LuckyScent but they were out, so I contacted Marlou directly in Paris and got two pre reformulated bottles. Two sprays last DAYS, and it’s addictive, dirty, updated, fresh crotchy Kouros. Brilliant!

Beautiful scent almost hard to put it down. It has this kind of funk to it that you can’t stop smelling. I’ve done it on testers but can’t wait to try it on the skin. I definitely don’t think it’s for every occasion, but will definitely give one confidence for the ones it’s suited for.

I adore this one. Probably my favorite of the four Marlou perfumes. It smells rich, luxurious, almost devious. Makes me feel like I'm smoking cigarettes on a velvet chaise lounge at a vampire orgy. I can't get enough of it.

When I say I want musk in a perfume, this is what I mean. Smells like freshly sullied sheets or deer people bathing in a golden waterfall. One of those you just can't take your nose off of.

Smells like worn panties. Also a beautiful smoky, musky, incense smell. The smell of a sexy unwashed woman. Intoxicating and addictive. You may have to be a little perverted to like this.

A fuzzy honeybee carrying so much musky yellow pollen that she's sweating like humans coupling for hours under the unforgiving midday sun. Comforting, golden, addictive and unapologetic.

This fragrance has a unique blend of florals, underarm sweat, piss, and a hint of ballsack. It reminds me of the scent of dirty gym clothes. The Cumin note is legit. It's fantastic!

Wow..... so sensual, sexy, erotic...... this is very like Akro's 'Night', but I think it has even more depth. I layer with Salome, Femme Rochas or BAV when feeling really horny....

It smells like kissing someone after they've gone down on you in summer - but swathed in a refined air. It's pungent. It's horny. I can't stop smelling my wrists. I love it.

The perfect transposition of the smell of underwear that hasn't been washed for at least 3 days, but only after 20 minutes does it become so good, dirty. Perfection.

Bought a full size immediately after smelling it and told my friend she said “no way the sex perfume 😭” but idk i love sweaty dirty socks smell

An unnervingly realistic rendition of the fragrance of used panties. If you like that smell, you'll like this - you dirty, filthy pervert.

So great for fall... so rich, in the classical sweaty sex style. Nothing fecal here whatsoever. Urinous a la Kouros, sweaty lover.

Ambilux smells exactly like my late great-gradma's bathroom. Haven't been in that house for years, almost made me cry.

This is such a hot, sensual, seductive, alluring scent. It's deep, dark and dirty. I'm in love.
