Marni Spice

Spicy goodness! Surprised anise isn't listed in the notes. This fragrance reminds me of my grandmother's anise pizzell cookies! Love and first sniff.

This is similar to Marni, though, this as expected, has more spice. Pepper and cardamom are the stars here much to my liking. It's also easier to find than the original Marni, and when you do it won't cost you an arm and a leg. Marni Spice performs better in cooler weather. It's not a masterpiece but I enjoy wearing it. Acceptable longevity with light projection. Edit: I have decided to let this one go. It does not perform as well as the original Marni and I found that I rarely each for it, a year after purchase. I have bottle up for trade if anyone is interested.

Effervescente e briosa combo pepe/cannella/cardamomo, vivace ed energizzante. Da questo tripudio speziato tentano di emergere roselline e mimose, ma come in Oeillet Bengale Aedes e Rose Poivrèe TDC il pepe tende a prevaricare e i fiori piegano il capino, rassegnati. Chi ama i profumi spicy lo apprezzerà sicuramente. Il profumo è molto carino ma, come per gli altri Marni, la proiezione è assai moderata e la persistenza non supera l'ora. Comunque gradevole, di piacevole semplicità. Per una piccola sferzata di energia.

I also concur with the two reviews below, Marni spice is like the original after the initial weird, metallic spicy aroma, I really like it but loved the original also so if you didn't I wouldn't think you would like this one. I find this weirdly pleasant!

Agree wholeheartedly with the review below by Dannysmom; it is very much like the original after the initial spice burst (with a bit of juicy citrus when I sprayed it the second time). I do like it, as much as the original Marni. Glad I got the bottle!

If you don't like the original Marni, you probably won't like this one either. The drydown is pretty much the same. However, the opening notes are full of spice. I can definitely smell the cardamon and cinnamon. It's fantastic. Unfortunately, longevity and sillage aren't as good as the original. The original lasts all day on me. This one faded pretty quickly. As a Marni perfume fan, I still think this one is wonderful.. Not sure if it's worth it to own both, though? The drydown is the same, but this one has a big spice kick in the opening. Yum.. Edit- I'm wearing it again today. Different weather- cooler. The spices have stayed the entire time, and it's lasted all day on me today. It's still very similar to original Marni, but the drydown now has that additional spice kick too. It's been upgraded to one of my favorites..
