Les Nuits De Marrakech

This blend opens up very clearly with leathery scent from labdanum (Cistus) but it will be tamed as soon as you notice it. Saffron is somewhat soft and intimate, not that kind of super earthy and powerful which is familiar for many like Pachouli as well - it’s not that gloomy dark and extremely earthy one, it’s very soft wrapped in tender Musk Cashmere. The whole texture is attractively balsamic which I love a lot and “a resin like” from Amber Wood. From time to time I get the hints of Liquorice but it’s more about the saltiness. The scent is sweet and a little bit salty in the same time: Ambergris performs beautifully here. It’s like a mix of sweet and salty candies which you are eating and can’t stop, I can’t stop sniffing this addictive combination here. All the notes are very harmonious, perfectly blended together and it’s very easy to love this if you like balsamic, ambery scents. The concoction is refined, it has a mysterious and sensual character. Les Nuits de Marrakech is surprisingly versatile scent, office safe, wearable year around and in all climates. This is a perfect example of a unisex scent since on my skin it has a certain kind of luminosity whereas on my husband’s skin it’s a tad darker and richer. This is my first impression as I have not worn this fragrance for a full day ware. I am testing this out of the sample kit. I would like to say a few words about the customer service of Marrakesh Imperial. In my experience the customer service was really good. I got a prompt response to my inquiry the next business day. My package arrived from Europe well packaged and I also got some extra samples with my order. I do recommend this brand. Les Nuits De Marrakesh is a love at first sniff for me. Whereas Arabian Leather was warm and smooth, Les Nuits is bright and oriental. It is so well blended that it is hard to distinguish particular notes, it’s the scent as a whole. And it’s glorious. If you love oriental fragrances like I do, then you will love this. I disagree with Fragrantica description that this fragrance is amber-forward, balsamic, woody or smoky, no, it’s warm spicy, bright, oriental, and even a tad invigorating. Unisex or even a touch feminine, great for day or night (I see it more during the day because of how bright it is), suitable for all of the seasons, it’s an oriental win. I am so happy that I got a full bottle of this. Blind buy safe for lovers of spicy orientals for sure. I only wish that it would have a louder sillage, but again it could be my cool skin. Oh, and I don’t think that it’s very similar to Memo African Leather. Maybe very little, but not much, at least to my nose and on my skin.

This fragrance is class. It opens up very strongly with a saffron and labdanun note. There is incense but not in a cathedral gothic way, instead this gives to the opening a very pleasent smoky aspect to it. In general it is a very strong oriental fragrance with hints of woods and saffron. I also smell some oud an opulent type of oud, very sweet. Once it dries down it starts to smoth a bit there are some silky undertones given by the amberwood blended perfectly with the musk and the patchouly can't feel very muc of amber gris, and the cedar wood it starts to come out very far from the opening on about 2/3 hours. the dried down has a bit too much patchouli for my preferences it starts to develop a bit to pungent for my taste and the sweetness starts to fade away, In short this is a very pleasent oriental fragrance distinguishible by its resins and the smoky undertone. It is a very unique fragrance but i admit it might be challenging for an unexperienced nose. Although i love this it will not give you tons of compliments, this is not a mass appealing fragrance ! Leaning male NOT SAFE BLINDBUY !! Great great projection and longevity, 12 plus hrs longevity with high silllage (and i have a very thick oily skin witch is not great) Mark: 8.5

This smells like earth and cypriol out of the bottle at the opening. It dries down into a very warm amber quickly. I don't favor the pervasive, faint amber that every current fragrance seems to evolve into, but this one is different. The drydown gives a beautiful, spiced amber. The projection is not insane, it is a scent that stays close to the skin.

A new, totally aphrodisiac scent. OMG ! I felt like I smelled an orange of saffron and incense. What an incredible fragrance.

I’m not surprised that the nose is Christian Carbonnel with his artistic flair encased on this jewel. The softest most supple suedey saffron opening. And then I’m opening the door a bit more and I’m beckoned to come in a bit closer. The lights are swaying from the wooden rafters and there’s music in the distance. I want to join this party and experience a piece of raw Morocco. The tagine is hot on the coals and my meal is almost ready. All things Moroccan come together in this to formulate another facet of this beautiful country. The colors are rich and imbued in their rugs and clothing, the metal of the silver and gold jewelry is glistening, the food is simmering, and the music is intense. It’s hot outside but I’m cooled on the inner courtyard. Night is coming quickly but yet it’s just beginning. This is incensed and harkens me to come closer.

So many fake reviews on this site. I’m guessing none of these people have ever smelled this fragrance.
