MK High Intensity

It's finally arrived...and it was worth the wait, for sure!! MKHI is my first Mary Kay fragrance and I think it is a winner...more aromatic than cK Free and not as dry and flowery as Bvlgari PH. For an Eau du Cologne this is actually quite strong, in my opinion. It is very rich. It opens subtly sweet and has a fresh facet, but is so much more than that. Caraway and cloves give it a warm smooth spiciness and the tea and clary sage keep it clear and smooth with an edge of sharpness. The violet leaves are a nice rounding influence on the scent as a whole. Coffee, with it's gourmand quality, adds a depth and an almost sexy allure. Smooth is too simple a word to describe this fragrance; it is more like an elegant, nicely tailored crushed velvet blazer: simple in design but very chic. It has a quiet finish due to the soft suede note, but overall it is a smooth, warm and very distinct scent. Very, very well done. I have a new respect for Mary Kay, and her scents... Sillage: quite good (for an EDC) Longevity: good Overall: 4.25/5 I am very glad to have this, now, in my collection; and look forward to trying some other mens scents from MK. Domain, perhaps? This is very nice for winter as it is slightly spicy and warm, but is not overly strong or super sweet like a Mugler or Gaultier. It is just enough to make an impression, but not steal the spotlight from you...it adds to your aura, instead of defining it.

I smelled this on someone and was blown away. This scent single handedly brought me down the rabbit hole of fragrance addiction. And it still remains my favorite of all the many bottles I own. It has an almost powdery sweet woody smell to it. For some reason it reminds me of the smell you get when you walk into the wood section of Home Depot. It doesn't last an incredible amount of time but it's good enough. And although discontinued, it's still available for quite cheap. If you love Mont Blanc Individual I believe you will also love this fragrance.

9 years ago I've got a bottle of this one, i can't barely recall what this smells like, but as long as i can remember is a lovely, nice and warming scent. Since it's presentation is a good experience: minimalist, behaved and sober. Somehow i felt inspired to start out a perfume collection because of this one, previously i intend to get together the bottles i've ever had for a 2nd time, unfortunatelly for now it's way hard to find It thou', this gem is no longer available, not at least here in Brasil. :(

Lovely fresh clean fragrance. The fennel and violet leaf combine very well to give a sweet fresh aroma that imo is natural, all season suitable and versatile for any occasion. Longevity is fairly low on my skin at around 3 hours but can be forgiven as this is an eau de cologne. The more I try of them, the more I'm impressed with Mary Kay fragrances. It's not quite the equal of the very impressive MK Tribute For Men but it's not too far behind. Recommended.

This is a "Bargain Basement" gem! A darker take on black tea and amber along with a soft spice slant to it. Still though I plan on using on a summer day, great projection and sillage. Shades of Chanel's Allure come to mind though there is no cinnamon listed here. You won't come across Mary Kay's High Intensity for men in many places for sale or being worn so you got yourself something different and unique. I get no woodiness from this.

My cousin sells MK and after reading about this I called her to see if I could order it. She said she was not sure and she would try. (Full time job, two pre-teen kids, boyfriend and nurse...whew! It's a wonder she remembers anything...) As of today no news:( It has a few notes in common with cK Free and some with Bvlgari pH so to say the least my interest is piqued especially after the positive reviews here...

this cologne made me make a frangatica acc for rhis lmao, mary kay high intensity is clean. i love the hints of ambers and the freshness. I smelled it and immediately had to get it for my man, i feel like it was very him. its light and not overpowering like the standard male cologne. He pairs it with bleu de chanel and its a wonderful combo. he'll definitely keep this one in his daily rotation!

This was one of my first fragrances and I have no idea where I got it just like my Jaguar cologne lol, they just ended up in my collection about half full lol Anyway I wore the crap out of it, at the time it was one of my stronger warmer fragrances. The amber and spices rule this scent and it just smells like comfort if that makes sense, I love it

This is a winner! This is one of those fragrances you don't smell too much coming from your own skin but others around you will definitely smell it. when I first smelt this it was on a coworker. I was like whoa! who has that on? Had to order it immediately and I have not been disappointed. Love this stuff!!

pob75 "Cologne spray Eau de Parfum" what is written on the box. It has good longevity, heavy sillage.

The box for my one says "Eau De Parfum" on it - not sure if it is different to the Eau De Cologne mentioned here - looks exactly the same. At various points it fleetingly reminds me a little bit of lots of phases in other scents. That said it is nice smelling, overall has its own character and I picked it up cheaply. Starts as a slightly spicy citrus scent. Not exactly fresh but kind of warm-spicy meets fresh-spicy with some citrus and some depth from some relatively subtle, slightly bitter coffee notes. Gets a little sweeter and smoother late on (almost vanilla-like). Gypsy Parfumista sums it all up pretty well (see below). Good strength and quite good projection. Quite strong on skin for 8+ hours, reasonable (but quite subtle) projection for 6+ hours. Remains as a weak-ish skin scent for 12 or more hours. Overall it smells good, quite fresh but with a bit of depth, warmth and complexity. I expected more of a coffee smell - it is there but not particularly dominant, more of an undertone. Would suit colder or warm weather but maybe not hot. An everyday-type fragrance that is quite safe. Quite like it, nothing to dislike but nothing incredible either.

to support my wife(mary kay cosultant) and my habit i got this and domain. first off when i smelled this i couldnt think of what other cologne this smelled like, then it hit me.....chanel allure homme! chanel is alot stronger though.

Using my regular testing method (2 sprays behind each ear, 2 sprays on each wrist) I was met with a very pleasant powdery sweet woody scent. Sadly it didn't last long on me at all ... Within an hour it was a faint skin scent and by 2 hours it was OVER! So ... I decided to double up my sprays (YES ... that's 16 sprays) and only then was I left with a fragrance which was able to get to just short of the 4 hour mark. Scent bubble lasted for just over an hour and then quickly drifted away. Smells nice but does not last at all! It is an EDC after all right !? ... but so are the Tommy Bahamas and they all seem to last longer than this one. Truly sad because it's a nice dumb reach fragrance. Just can't be a "Sissy Sprayer" with this one. 16+ sprays for any longevity for me.

I got this as a present, and was not too fond of it form the beginning, however it grew on me. This is a very versatile, and mature scent. Many of my friends labelled it as very masculine on me (not usually my style) I now use it as a bit of a dumb reach, as it is really suitable for most everyday situations. In terms of the performance, I would rate this as decent. It lasts on my skin around the 4 to 5 hour mark with medium projection. Overall a really decent scent, and one I could recommend.

High Intensity a mature, masculine, green woody fragrance. I can't see anyone under 30 rocking this. Imagine Drakkar Noir, with less musk and much fresher. The first thing you notice is a very strong sage, with a subtle lavender & amber in the background to clean things up a bit. Give it some more time, and the wood kicks in, creating some musk along with the sage. Through the green and the musk, you'll get a small amount of mens shower gel coming through. Weird, but it works. Sprinkle some powder in the mix, and that's the note breakdown for High Intensity This is a very heavy scent that can easily become suffocating in high heat, but in cooler weather it can do wonders if your a fan of Green musky colognes. If you're a fan of old school green scents I think you'll definitely enjoy this, especially at the low price. If not, you should probably avoid this frag.

I have the "eau de cologne" which was given to me as a gift. It is nice in the bottle and on the test strip and seems like it would be a great spring scent but this particular fragrance dried on my skin is not amazing. I live in a dry, hot environment and have moderately oily skin but this seemed to almost intensify my BO once dried, plus the alcohol/medicinal scent doesn't fade, I've noticed on more expensive frags the alcohol is usually reduced to a top note.. Have had the bottle for over a year and have worn it in different seasons yet no luck; I will continue to look for a green fragrance that actually dries down nicely on my skin and in my environment. UPDATE: I looked at the bottle and noticed this one is from 2014. It may have some way past expired components, which could explain the weird stale BO smell.. Sorry Mary Kay for the harsh judgement.

My first review, so please be gentle with me guys. This fragrance is fabulous. It's discontinued, but you can still find it on ebay for <30 bucks. HOWEVER after 5 minutes of application, it smells exactly like D&G's The One. If you have The One, don't bother getting this- spend your money on something better.

This is obnoxious. I really do not like this spray. What do you expect from something so cheap. The smell is almost vulgar and hurts my nostrils. Very heavy sillage and lasts a long time. This is your warning. Stay away!

One of my friends owns this cologne. Once again it smells like Chanel Allure Homme but with a aquatic undertone. Just like Perry Ellis M that I reviewed, it is similar to the double CC's.

When a friend of mine wore this I could have smelled him all day...intoxicating and addictive! 100 times better than so many popular commercialized scents.
