Bois d'Inoki

If you're looking for a fig fragrance, this isn't one, not really. And not citrusy either. BUT if you're here looking for the violet leaf, you should give it a try. It is the scent of a spacious green park after rain, I can smell leaves and wet soil, and fresh air. It lasts moderately long (about 5-6 hours on my skin) and the sillage is rather quiet too, but somehow it feels as if it shouldn't be any louder, because there's some sense of sacredness there, it's a "meditative" scent. Truly unisex. And yes, it is very similar to She Wood Velvet Forest

This is a beautiful citrusy/woody/green-floral, fresh-spicy and slightly fruity warm weather daytime scent for both genders. It leans to masculine scents imo. It opens with a spicy and fresh violet leaf along with fig. After a few minutes emerges the cedar with the mild incense. It doesn't feel churchy at all. Then a sub-sweet benzoin note comes to the surface making the blend a little warm/cozy. The bergamot is faint but noticeable. It takes some time until I can get the hinoki but when it comes it's the dominant note along with the spicy violet leaf and the mild fig. It gives a citrusy vibe to the blend. Overall you must love spicy violet leaf to like this scent. It's the big boss along with hinoki. I'm still evaluating the longevity because I only wore it once but it seems it's high-moderate. It has edp concentration. I'll update with more info the next days. Sillage and projection are moderate. You can wear it in spring and summer and it's suitable for high temperatures. It comes in a beautiful hard box and the bottle has a nice vintage design with a heavy cap. Beautiful presentation for its price range.

Bois d’Hinoki. Lemon-scented sacred wood. Indeed, it is woody, lemony and incensy. A fig gives sweetness to the scent. It is fresh and I like it. Perfect unisex.

Very light and airy, close to the skin. It smells like a forest, very green but it's not overwhelming. Quite unisex, but leans masculine. It smells a little bit dated, yet not overwhelming and complex. The most obvious notes are the fig leaves and hinoki wood. No sweetness and it's not fruity either. Very green and leafy.

یه عطر لطیف و منزوی از یه برند مهجور ژاپنی. بسیار آرام، لطیف، شفاف و با کیفیت. شروع مرکباتی در یک بستر چوبی آروم و کمی سبز که به مرور مرکبات کمرنگ و کمرنگتر میشه توش و بنفشه و انجیر (از نوع تلخ و کمی گزنده اش نه شیرین و شاد یا فروتی) قدرت میگیرن. بستر ملوی چوبی و سبز یواشش تا آخر فرقی نمیکنه. عطر جمع نیست به نظرم عطرِخلوت و به خصوص خلوتِ شاعرانس. طراحی رایحه و شیشه و درب همگی در بهترین شکل ممکنشه و ذره ای کیفیت و ظرافت فدا نشده. باتلش هم باتل متفاوتیه خوش دسته و زیادی طویله و با عرض خیلی کم و ازون عطراس که کم شدن مایع رو با هر پاف به چشم میبینین. درش هم سنگین و با ترکیب فلزه و با بسته شدن یه صدای کلیک بسیار لذتبخش داره ترکیب پیچیده و عجیبی نیست با سادگیش باید ارتباط گرفت. هینوکی رو اونجور متفاوت و قوی اونجوری که انتظار داشتم اینجا پیدا نکردم بر خلاف onsen ----------- Scent & Quality: 9/10 Longevity: 6/10 Sillage: 7/10 Creativity & Uniqueness: 7/10 Affordability: 8/10 ----------- Overall: 7.4/10

For me this is a fig fragrance, and I love fig, the fresh and sweet, somehow both milky and earthy body of it. This is a very comfortable scent, reminding me of long beautiful summers of my childhood, sitting in my grandma's orchard in the shade of her cherry trees, with my bowl of cold milk and summer berries. Crushed green leaves, sweetness and cooling breeze, and just there, high above in the vivid blue sky — the warm and golden sun. It's not anything experimental, just a very understated, fresh but not soapy, office-friendly scent, absolutely lovely from the opening all the way through to cedar dry down. I like it a lot, and for the price tag it is a very good choice.
