Matsu

Realistic, soft lilac-almond-musk, emphasis on the lilac. Very romantic and innocent-feeling, this is not at all a femme fatale scent but it's pretty. I got a great deal on this & liked the notes, so I snapped it up. Soft, floaty, slightly powdery but not overly so. Very reminiscent of the much more expensive Sweet Morphine, if you love the lilac in that one you should try this one too.

As green as the bottle, I am surprised that no green notes are listed. It's soft, fresh wisteria, lilac scent. Musky in a clean way, nice and unobtrusive. Good for almost all occasions.

I got this to replace my Drop d'Issey because the ambroxan does something odd on my skin and makes it uncomfortable. Matsu is actually really similar. Maybe not as strong (but it's still pretty strong and noticeable!) and maybe not as powdery, but equally full of lilac and very soapy. If you find it a bit too much but like a lilac or wisteria note then I suggest Elizabeth Arden Mediterranean as the plum note in there makes it super wearable.... or of course Lanvin's Eclat D'Arpege (or the la rive dupe!) as they're not as heady as Matsu or Drop d'Issey, but that stunning purple floral comes through clearly!

I blind bought this since I really missed Yves Rocher's Pur désir de lilas and I think it'll be great for an everyday dumb reach as it is soft and unobtrusive, but as soon as I smelled it, I thought wait a second, I know this... Turns out that to my nose, this smells a lot like Contradiction, minus the metallic edge... which I already own :( I'd be interested to know if anyone else agrees!

This fragrance starts with boost of something fresh and chemical like staying at shop "everything for clean home " But after 15 minutes coming sweet freshness of lilac,some green leaves and sweet spicy dry down Sweet crispy and some creamy notes (almond?) Very nice perfume but not really me
