Matsu Sunshïne

This is a zesty, warm, exotic perfume. It smells of juicy, golden, honeyed pears, enveloped in a mysterious, yet comforting veil of muskiness. Picture this: you're alone on a small tropical island; it's a peaceful, sunny morning and you're relaxing on a beach chair while sipping on a fruity cocktail, and there's nothing but the sound of rustling palm trees and exotic birds' song in the air. This is exactly how wearing Masaki Sunshine feels like. It's an amazing fragrance because the sunny notes keep shining through. One hour later, and they're still as bright as when I first sprayed it. Like a literal sunshine at its peak. Another incredible detail is that when you hold the yellow bottle up to the sun, it appears a glowing orange inside, like a sunrise. A well-studied and developed perfume.

This is my new signature ☀️ Fresh and sunny fragrance in a beautiful bottle reminding me of the Slovak oldschool bus stops 😄 This scent is really yellow, bright, optimistic, citrus with flower hints with a soft and creamy drydown. I’d wear this all the time. Sunshine in a bottle. Best for the spring and summer on a bright day. I’d say this is a saturated yellow version of Dolce Garden, which was my signature perfume until I bought this sunny gem.

I was very curious about this perfume and the first impressions are quite good. There is some initial citrus freshness in the opening, I do not get much of the fig. In the drydown it subsided and mainly the ylang-ylang with frangipani became dominant (the white flowers not so much), they are sweet , a bit fruity and I find them quite pleasant, especially combined with a musky creaminess, almost kind of creamy coconuty smell, but definitely not a suntan lotion type. After about an hour, it became closer to the skin, even more creamier, with a hint of powderiness. I'd say a lovely summer vibe fragrance, worth trying, especially if the notes speak to you.

Nice fruity, floral and slightly sweet scent with prominent litchi note. Smells a bit generic, but still very happy and pleasant. With soft musky base. Can be a nice summery perfume for a relaxed walk in the park or picnic. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

I have a few perfumes of Masaki. I like the brand as a quality of perfumes and types of light inoffensive type. This one is definitely the sweetest of them all. Not exactly my type. I don't get any particular note exactly. It's sweet and floral. I can detect the fig just at the beginning and it's not dominating in the frag. I still not sure if I like fig in fragrances, but here it doesn't matter that much. It's my first frag with davana, but I don't detect it well. The frangipani is almost not nonexistent. It's not a sunny tropical fragrance that I expected. It nice one but nothing special. I've got the travel size so I'm glad about that. Longevity is on the weaker side around 3hrs.

Smells very simple and juvenile. There are better crafted parfumes with similar profile for the same price point (eg Versace Dylan turquoise)

Very meek and sour. It could really do with a backbone note.

My dear friends hello. I would like to hear your opinions about this brand. I will try to find some sites in EU that possibly carry these perfumes or on Ebay if I am lucky. In the past I had sampled Fluo and Snowing Rose but I did not really enjoy them. Despite that, I was really impressed by the duration and the quality of these perfumes. This time I would like to sample Matsu Sunshïne but I am worried if it is sour because of the lemon. Also, I am curious about Davana if you can describe me how it smells because I have never heard about this plant before. General speaking I mostly enjoy floral, fruity and green perfumes and I can not stand the very strong ones or the gourmand. I would appreciate any opinions about the brand in general or about the specific perfume from people who have tested it or even better from people who own it. Any other suggestions for other perfumes are also welcome. I would like to kindly thank you for your time. I am deeply grateful.
