Russian Tea Oud

It reminds me of a Colonia Oud by acqua di parma (same vibes)

opens up with a blast of woody oudy scent, very clean and western style without any funk. after 15, 20 minutes the oud is less apparent and the tea leaves, peppermint, olibanum(burned) and raspberry appears stronger with a tiny hint of smoke . the more it stays the leather and smokes becomes more noticeable but again the main focus of this scent is the green fresh tea leaves and raspberry, after 5 hours all those notes were almost gone and the smoke note was amped up on my skin alot that wasn't really pleasing for me. was a faint skin scent after the 7 mark for me. با بوی عودی و چوبی شروع میشه، عودی که اصلا بوی بدی نداره و چوبی هست یاد آور عود عطر های غربی.بعد چند دقیقه بوی چایی، تمشک،رزین رو خیلی قوی تر احساس میکنید با اندکی دود و بوی عود خیلی کمرنگ میشه . هر چه بیشترروی پوست بمونه بوی چرم و دود بیشتر به چشم میاد ولی تمرکز اصلی این عطر روی برگ های چای و تمشک هست نه چرم، بعد از 5 ساعت نت های چایی ، توتی و رزینی تقریبا از بین میرن و نت دود به مقدار زیادی روی پوست من احساس میشه که این قسمت رو زیاد دوست نداشتم.بعد از 7 ساعت به سختی روی پوست حس میشد. رایحه بسیار جالبی هست و ارزس تست رو داره مخصوصا اگر به بو های دودی علاقه مند هستید.

Redundant if you have the original Russian tea. Way overpriced. I smell cedar not oud. 3/5

I feel like I've been overly critical and even harsh to this house, so I'm leaving a mercy 🙂 review. This offering is a lot more particular than the other oud -based fragrance from MM. Spicy woods and greenery, there's a lot of character here. Too spicy in fact. The tea and mint should stand out more, but are certainly present in this mix. It's a challenging wear, but a good one. If you can pull this off, you're gonna get a lot of positive attention, and rightfully so. Seasonal and artisanal, this is a powerful blend. Too spicy for my nose, however. More tea, less spices please. Borderline ☹️ unpleasant. Obnoxious. I withdraw my good 🙂 rating and submit another meh. 😐

Scent takes about ~5 minutes to settle down from the oud. This has the most evident oud out of all 4, but the key accords that make the original Russian Tea what it is are a little bit MIA - the tea & raspberry are more mild-to-moderate vs. in the original, raspberry was strong for an hour & tea was a leading note. Original Russian Tea smells a little bit honeyed/jammy as it dries too. The scent doesn't pop as a whole - outside of that blast of oud in the open (vs. original's smoky-aromatic top), the airiness seems minimal. The aromatic qualities relative to the original are fairly lacking with this flanker. This was arguably the route that I didn't want this scent to go - where we just add some oud without intensifying the other accords to make up for the newly added overpowering accord. It's a 7/10 for the scent, moderate sillage. Forget the value - I don't see anything here that's worthy of €650 for 100ml.

من عاشق و شیدای راشن تی هستم و بار نخست از نوبهار همون اوایل شیشه قدیم خریدم ۱۶۰۰ اما باید بگم بین راشن تی و این کار جدید و گرون قیمت سبزرنگ راشن تی عود هیچ رابطه و ربطی وجود نداره! فقط دود بود و عود حداقل تا چندین ساعت حتی یک جز از راشن تی متوجه نخواهید شد. اگر به هوای راشن تی سراغ این کار برید و بلایندبای کنید بدجور زخمی میشید. البته قصدم فقط بیان این نکته بود و نه تحلیل و ریویو هیچ کدام این دو کار که هردو خاصه راشن تی اصلی ارزنده هستند.

Just another oud, like so many others, cheaper and better. Unnecessary addition.
