1985 Fresh Eau de Parfum

Feels like clone of Bvlgari Aqva Marine.

Massimo Dutti 1985 Fresh is a citrus, spicy, and woody fragrance. Its scent is very well balanced between citrus and woody notes, with some green accords also perceptible, all resting on a base of vetiver and musk. I saw on the list of fragrances it resembles L'Eau d'Issey Miyake Pour Homme, and I agree. In fact, it also reminded me of another fragrance I used to own, Carlo Corinto Orange, which also bore a certain resemblance to the Issey Miyake. So, with that reference, you can get an idea of its scent. I find it a versatile fragrance suitable for the office, casual outings, and outdoor activities. It's more of a daytime fragrance than a nighttime one, although it could also be worn on summer nights. Its longevity on me was between 5 and 6 hours, with a noticeable sillage for the first 30 minutes, after which it becomes a skin scent.

A sharper, thinner, more green, metallic version of L'Eau d'Issey PH. Without it's warmness. They're different enough and at the same time I can imagine if you only 10 fragrances, this would be redundant. Furthermore, the top/heart fade away quite quick, the mineral/oceanic/green/salty base lingers for at least 6 hours on my skin, although faint. Perfect for me as I got it as a dumb reach for hot summers, I don't need a powerhouse for that. With a profile like this, it would really choke you out (and others around you lol). And to end the comparison, L'Eau d'Issey is not a dumb-reach for me, I think twice before I spray that on as it can be overpowering (and one of those my wife can't stand lol).

Unfortunately longevity is too bad. Around 1 or 1,5 hours. Smells like a cheap supermarket colognes. Sorry Amancio but it's worst fragrance on this brand
