Red Evening

Today I'm testing two perfumes by Massimo Dutti and one of them is Red Evening. On my skin, Red Evening is a gorgeous oriental rose perfume! The rose here is rich, powerful and the most dominating note in the composition. I feel a lot f honey, amber and vanilla as well. Red Evening is a magic scent, that can transport you at some fairy tales back in time in the far Middle East...The main focus is the opulent rose note and if you are not into the rich oriental roses, it's not for you. I want to give you some scents that are close to Red Evening. The most similar one is Asdaaf Golden Oud - more than 98%. Also very close are two ultra famous scents: Lattafa Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe Edition and Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud. Final words: Massimo Dutti Red Evening is an excellent thick oriental rose with great quality and performance. If you love sweet and powerful ambery-honeyed roses - please take a loot at it. It sounds expensive, rich, complex and great night out perfume. Stunning ratio: quality of the scent / performance / presentation / price!

pienso que es una fragancia nicho a un precio espectacular, en la salida me recuerda a esa nota a petroleo que la podemos encontrar en ombre nómade de luis v. pero luego va evolucionando a una rosa con resina. es una fragancia que si la ponemos en una botella nicho, fácilmente pagaríamos 200 dollares por ella.

Yet another beloved rose perfume. Upon first smelling it I was blown away by how familiar it felt, only to realise that it's almost identical to Oud Satin Mood on my skin, but less sickly sweet. Well balanced and elegant composition which is hard to find for such a price, and a perfect date night scent.

A fragrance that’s way too good for its price. You really need to try it, is a safe blind buy if you love rose scents. The rose is quite dominant at first, but then the amber and oud come through creating a warm and sensual scent.

at first I though it was cherry, as it was that kind of cherry-wooden smell. But now I see this is rose smell. Wow! Such a good combination, this one is really romantic, deep, sensual

Amazing fragrance for a amazing price, it’s strong and it’s sexy

I loved it on a paper strip - I could smell it one meter away from it and it was a nice rose-oud smell with a bit of smokiness. Warm, elegant, not sweet, really perfect. I came back to the shop to test in on my skin and unfortunately it's a skin scent on me and I smell more of this smoke. It's still a nice perfume but it wasn't what I was expecting. It's too weak for me.

More masculine Oud Satin Mood inspiration? Gotta try it on skin next time I'm in store

Price/Performance is crazy. Manages to smell more complex with only few ingredients than most other designer perfumes.

WOW! I didn’t know Massimo Dutti could produce such fine fragrance collection. I just went to the mall today and found almost all of the fragrance by Massimo is actually good. You can even check the ratings on other perfumes here in fragrantica have a rating averaging 4 above. I would definitely recommend you all to try all of Massimo’s fragrance, it’s actually very affordable and quality is good! I’ve to say this is the first designer brand that actually surprised me, who could even produce such many fine fragrances with decent quality and decent price?!?! Not even ZARA can, ZARA has almost trash quality compared to Massimo Dutti even though they’re owned or ran by the same company from what I remember.

My wife advised me this over Black and White Evening. I bought all 3 in Almada Forum Portugal last July. Red Evening is Nuclear. Rose & Oud combo. What a great fragrance. Fills a room, a house and probably a huge mansion too. For now, that is enough. Only wore it once since is was Summer and I don't advice this for Warmer days. It's suffocating. Will update in Fall/Winter.

A strong fragrance that hit my nose at first. If you like this, try out Massimo's Blond Vanilla. Similar layers with a sultry darkness.
