Mauboussin Discovery

Similar to creed aventus, but still it's own scent. Purchased for £21 which for the smell is grate value for money. Doesn't smell great when first applied but after a few minutes once dry is great. Lasts about 2/3 hours for others to smell and around 4/6 hours on you skin for you to smell yourself. Projects well for the first hour but quickly dies down. My new favourite daily go to.

This is a STEAL and a gem just like the bottle it's presented in, beautiful rich long lasting smell, the other 2 flankers are quite good as well... This one 8.8/10 longevity 7.5/10 ciao aventus 👋👃

This one outperforms Zara's Vibrant Leather and all it's flankers, and in dry-down is pretty much spot-on Creed's DNA. Great cheapy, not a copy, but "inspired by".

Discovery is a nice aromatic Citrusy fragrance pretty much close to Creed Aventus in his own way! It's not a clone of aventus! Good deal❤️

It is a great alternative to more popular Aventus clones such as Explorer or CDNIM. It has it's own twist, it is a bit more spicy compared to these two and specifically, it is less citrusy and less smoky on the drydown compared to CDIM and less woody, more floral and overall less bitter than Explorer. It is a surely great fragrance, but I prefer Explorer more than this because of the more pronounced ambroxan and more prominent woods. If you love Explorer but want even cheaper and less acrid version, this would be your best choice. The best Aventus clone still remains as CDIM Parfum and Explorer for me. The strenght parameters are about average, doesn't last crazy long but you do not need to shower in it in order to smell it.

Quite nice scent. For me this reminds Bvlgari Tygar: it is like the three times weaker version of it with some changes too in the smell. It is definitely better than any typical "aquatic" pour homme. I have smelt Creed Aventus Cologne but I smell no similarity.

Never smelled Aventus or Explorer so I can't make any comparaisons but I found the opening very shower gely, which is not what I prefer, after settling down for about a hour thyme is kicking in and makes it much more pleasant, if there is one fragrance it reminds me of, I'd defintely pick Ungaro pour l'homme III.

In the same ballpark as Explorer but more "synthetic". Super bright opening but overall very synthetic and very disappointing... I really enjoy the old Homme eau de toilette that i have and even the recent private club, although super sweet and not so unique, is quite alluring and sexy. This is not a good scent, unfortunately.

I like the brand, but this is the worst ever fragrance. It's smells disgusting. I really can't describe it. Totally disappointed.

Opening is similar to aventus but side by side this is its own fragrance. Smelling the bottle cap or fresh spray is reminiscent of aventus/clones. But it isn't a clone. Fits well into the "inspired by" category. Update: Having worn this many times, this has risen to very high in my collection, Mauboussin have taken the Aventus DNA and twisted it into an effervescent, green, woody, creamy scent. With Discovery, I feel I no longer need to explore the Aventus-inspired category. If Creed had released this as a green bottled Aventus flanker, people would be hyping it to the moon. But mauboussin released it, and it will never get the credit it deserves. Which means I can buy it for £20. Perfecto.

This is very impressive fragrance. I can see the comparison to Aventus and Explorer, however this is much more than just a simple clone! It really keeps the dna of Morillas' original composition and adds the Creed dna into it which I admire and it works very well, especially the thyme. Not on the performance level of other Aventus bandwagon attempts, but certainly stands on its own enough.

Worst dupe of amore cafe some fraghead insulted me when wearing this terrible quality dupe lasts 2 hours maximum the atomiser sprays 1 out of 10 times and the scent trail leads to nothing as the projection is laughable my batch was forged terribly don't not buy the coffee note is too powerful leading to an earthy dry down trust me do not buy this amore cafe dupe

Unboxed it and I took a bit of sniff and the first fragrance that came in to my mind was Creed Aventus. This is a little bit peppery and you get the dirty patchouli with a hint of leather once settled. But it's a less smoothy Aventus if you ask me. It's a complex scent at this price range. It's a good bargain actually.

Similarities with Aventus and Hacivat but more green and no pineapple. Opens fresh green with bright citrus and dries down green with woods. Straight up masculine.Very fresh and sharp. I like it. Performance sucks a bit. 4 hours and it's just on skin. It's great in all seasons but shines in hot weather. 7/10

Fragheadkp9, how a fragrance that came out in 2021 can be a dupe of Amore Caffè that just came out in 2023? Think before writing shit!
