Mauboussin in Red

Ok that’s the 7th perfume of this house that i own and again Mauboussin impressed me 👏 My nose perceives this scent more like Gucci Rush ( if compared to ,,similar to’’ perfumes) and also reminds me Coco Mademoiselle . I’m not getting Baccarat or Burberry her by now ( but will see how it grows on me ) Noone mentioned Maboussin Elixir for her ( it’s not very famous i think) but to me In red is like Elixir for her without praline , but with apple instead. The base of these 2 frags is almost identical - identically addictive 😍

Another perfume in the BR or Burberry's area... such a pleasent fragrance, perfect for spring and fall. Elegant, vibrant, luminous and fruity. The longevity could be better...

More fruity for me...almost no floral. Very strawberry than apple. But I like it...fresh clean and little bit sweetness. Sillage and longevity seems good for me.

I would never have tried this off the back of the scent pyramid as I am wary of anything with blackcurrant and/or praline. I got a sample of this free when buying a decant of another perfume. I sprayed it on a piece of fabric, thought meh it's mediocre and forgot about it. A whole week later I was sitting and could smell a gorgeous smell- it was coming from the fabric. I then tried this on skin and it's a revelation. Really lovely, sweet, woody and deep without being sickly or too sugary fruity. I've never smelled BR540 so can't comment on that but it's a million times nicer than Burberry Her or Cloud which both smell basic, generic and harshly synthetic to me. Lasts forever on fabric. Average longevity on skin. Nice sillage- you can smell yourself but you're not going to trigger anyone's asthma or annoy anybody ( I do one throat spray and one on each wrist). I would definitely consider a small bottle or partial for next Autumn and Winter.

What an interesting blind buy! Orange Mentos candy with applejuice and peonywater! In a fluffy cloud with a slightly sour white musk edge. On clothes you can really smell an apple. Its fresh, fruity sour and sweet and is definately not giving natural vibes (but that is what’s making it youthfull) Be carefull not to overspray because this red girl does not want to be loud, she already made a statement. I personally would wear this one in fall and winter in the Crispy fresh air, heels and sunglasses on.. you get it right? Ps: Not everything Ambroxy is related to Baccarat people :-)
