My Twist

Just like My way but less brightful and less class. Like Poison but Poison is really darker, more profond and caractère. Poison is a little bit older than this one. It's Sugary from sugar. A little bit of Interdit with tuberose white white flower group. If I could choose, it's surely my way. But this one is an excellent perfum for its price, not generic at all, has its own caractère and easy to pass everywhere everytime. A very good nowadays perfum.

I’m glad i didn’t give up on it from the first sniff. Bottled in transit make the scent off. Most of my Mauboussins initially have an ash tray note. But sitting in a quiet cool dark room for a week and finally it’s gone. This is delicious! I adore black currant and orange and that tube rose and jasmine just make this so delectable. I love it! I have 6 Mauboussin perfumes and i think i only sort of don’t like 1. This one i like! A lot!

This was a blind buy for me too. I was drawn to the adorable unique bottle, and Mauboussin has some pretty good scents. Plus, I was really anticipating it because of the Poison comparison. To me, it's a mix of a less-sweet My Way and a less intense, spring-wear Poison. I adore it! Shame it doesn't last very long. Still enjoyable though!

Creamy gourmand tuberose framed by juicy blackcurrant and lots of vanilla. Dries down musky and a touch woody. Projects quite strongly off my skin in the first two hours before tampering down to arms' length. Great dupe for Armani's My Way, and the bottle's very pretty too.

It’s a nice scent for tuberose lovers. I think it’s nothing to dislike in this scent. It reminds more of So scandal ( blackcurrant instead of raspberry note) than My Way imo. My way is lighter and crispier.

This reminds me of the great 80's tuberose bombs like Giorgio, Poison et al. All I get is fruit followed by a mid range tuberose. It is verrrrrrry sweet. Not at all dry like say Fracas. No rubber or meat like a few of the great "Tubes". I have just bought l'Interdit and I've a feeling that having both fragrances will be unnecessary. This is very good value, pretty good sillage and a lasting power of 2-3 hours on my dry skin and overnight on my pyjamas.

I blind bought this based on the notes and the cute bottle, but I would have never guessed this is basically Armani My Way with a more tolerable tuberose. It surprised me to my core, expecially since I hate My Way because I find it sickening because of the sweetness. It makes a great present because of the presentation and for a cheapie, I got about 10 hours on clothes and close to 8 on skin, so it's a solid 10/10.

Blind Buy. Very cheap, cute bottle and positive reviews. I am pleasantly surprised!! It starts sweet. I clearly can smell the black current and oranges. The oranges are nice, because they bring some freshness. This quickly turns into a more floral scent. Ending up in a very pleasant floral and warm drydown with some spices to lift it up. Lasts for about 4 hours on my skin. I am very happy with it!

Blind buy. The package : the bottle is simply gorgeous. The content : Explosion of black currant in the opening, no orange detected by my nose. After the dry down some flowers pop up but everything stays close to the skin so poor silage .. Unfortunately after an hour there's nothing more there. It's a pitty becouse is a very nice fragrance.

This doesn’t list wood, but it honestly has that specific synthetic wood smell that I find in Lattafa, Zara and many other perfume houses. Sadly it smells like tar to me so it completely ruins a perfume! Just a heads up in case that note hits other people the same way! I can tell that underneath this is a profile very much like My Way!

Ugh this was such a bad blind buy. I love My Way, but this smelled just old and stale. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but I ordered this and Mademoiselle and sent them both back. They both had that vintagey vibe that I can't stand.

I was nervous to blind buy this as some of the reviews were quite negative. However, I was so surprised when I first sprayed it - it's such a sophisticated scent. I initially smelt cherry? But I can understand how some people take it as blackberry. The florals and vanilla compliment it perfectly, it's really such a lovely fragrance. When I ask others to give their opinion on it, they usually always say how it smells expensive, which is hugely impressive considering the affordability of the perfume. It lasts around 4-5 hours on my skin, more on clothes, which is also incredibly impressive for the price. This is probably one of my favourite scents I've ever bought, so glad I did :)

I got it couple of month ago, hated it, left it for a while. I was testing My way last week, but haven’t decided wether I want just edt, nectar or intense. Went back to My Twist and now I like it so much! Is it because it is colder now, or did I get used to the smell combination? I don’t know, but I am happy that I can use it now with great pleasure.

I love this fragrance! When I tried My Way from Giorgio Armani I really liked the scent however it became nauseating due to the sweetness. For me, my twist has a similar scent profile but more green and less sweet, making it a perfect bright beautiful scent. Bought the 90 mL bottle for less than 30€, so no complaints!

It's like a dupe of My Way but smell more sweet but more flowery to me... It's not my cup of tea... but if you like sweet fruity parfume, then go with this... the bottle is soooo beautiful
