So, Lagerfeld's Photo was launched in 1988, with this a couple of years after. Clearly an attempt to copy and steer people's wallets towards a similar, and probably less expensive 'version.' But here's the thing, Camera is WAY better than KL Photo. Sure, both have that lavender-mandarin orange base, but where Photo dates itself with that flowery-soapy carnation+rose, Camera keeps it on the vanilla and Tonka bean side, with just enough of a hit of patch to keep it out of the bubblegum aisle. Snap this up if you're ever in a store with deadstock. You'll only be paying 15-20US for it, and the bottle is so cool! The top of the cap is clear, just like the lens of a camera. Nice big sprayer too.

Am I just imagining things? I definitley smell cinnamon yet it does not appear as one of the notes here. This is not a well known brand or scent, you should get it for cheap on many sites, so you should not feel robbed if it is not what you hoped for! As I stated on another review site, what I get from this cologne is a very sweet sugary cinnamon like the type in cold wet cereal. I just don't get the citrus though. It is aromatic for sure and projects! Maybe it's a hidden gem that you can call your own! Cheers!

This is NOTHING at all like Photo by Lagerfeld. Not even a passing resemblance and I am speaking of the "vintage" ...Definitely woody ..nothing else from this..reminds me of a much better Captain Molyneux new EDP though I am definitely not a fan of that either.

A strong woody, spicy masculine scent that's been around for quite a while. Its good but not popular If you liked Lagerfeld Photo then you would definitely like this. Camera doesn't even bear a passing resemblance to Lagerfeld Photo. The people saying it smells like Photo have *never* smelled Photo. Very annoying. Camera smells more like Versace Eros than anything, really. Tonka heavy. Gross.
