Super super super duper classic barbershop cologne!!! The original if you like... No... it’s not a Fougere it’s an aromatic citrus... pleasantly soapy... again eternally classic. Pleasant masterfully but subtly blended lavender, citrus, geranium wood etc in equal parts that as such I can barely pull them apart bar a touch of mint. Soapy and linear through out its long life. Almost a dead ringer for Geo F Trumper Paisley thought this is a better blend and being and EDP has greater performance. This has a phenomenal longevity for its type and the Sillage is fantastic though can be a little anosmic but it’s definitely there powering away. A movement of the arm reinvigorates the area around me. FreshLy showered and clean shaven do I feel - elegant too, bowler hat and walking cane by my side I set off down Bond St tipping my hat to the ladies and receiving a courtsy and a giggle. Not too many fragrances can ignite optimistic emotions quite like Augusto. Furnished with minty lavender, this woody aromatic aims to please as it wafts generously through the atmosphere complementing the scenic sunny days ahead. With notes such as bergamot, orange and geranium you would probably expect a crisp texture. Somehow Augusto manages to smell somewhat full and at times, rich and elegant. Although the fragrance seems to warm up after a while, those looking for the balsams to play a prominent role may be disappointed. The Ambergis is not a star nor a co-star. In fact, it's more like a stagehand. Not groundbreaking in the perspective of originality but definitely could be something that configures into your mental game of perfume deliberation in the form of Eenie Meenie Miney Moe.

Augusto is a solid masculine fougere. Starts off a bit sour similar to YSL's Pour Homme but within minutes it becomes joyful. Longevity is fantastic on me, up to 8 hours and I can still detect a scent bubble around me. The dry down is very similar to 'Vetiver'(which I own and love) so its a bit redundant owning both to be quite honest. Nevertheless both are excellent fragrances from the house of Mazzolari.

Nice different Mint approach, proceeds into one particular barbershop classic, a smooth bitter to it and keeps it fresh masculine.
