Daring Dragon

Terrible bottle presentation, but the fragrance is very good, reminds me of Teas Me from Aromatix but it’s a little more feminine, fresh. Buy it on sale not worth the full price.

Bright, uplifting and clean. I think this is well balanced and perfectly unisex. The bottle won me over but I was pleasantly impressed by the fragrance. Easily a 7/10 for me. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy citrus forward scents!

Stunning animal, stunning bottle, and... well, a perfectly forgettable scent. Thought it was promising intitially: soft yuzu, not the juicy zing of fresh-squeezed pulp, but the bitter green-yellow of the rind itself—zesty, but thin and dialed back. Maybe a wisp of bergamot too, but it fades almost before it’s noticed, like citrus mist over a hot rock. Then comes the tea. Just a touch of smoky lapsang in vaguely brewed green or black tea. Mild, warm, adds a little depth and that wise, contemplative serenity. Doesn't yet evoke steam as I imagined from the name, just the idea of “tea" and roundness. There’s that faintest lily-of-the-valley note, but once on skin it barely registers, perhaps hovering a little like a sprinkle petals infused in water. Cedarwood? Sandalwood? Maybe in the base if you squint, but this scent is just a pinch away from flat neutrality. Not unpleasant, of course not. Soft, lightly clean. MCM has one foot into the designer-niche realm, the other into the mass-appeal. Would I enjoy this on someone else, probably. But I’d also walk away and immediately forget what they smelled like. High fashion packaging, low-impact sillage, really. Farewell, docile dragon.

everything but daring, it’s a relatively simple and very easy citrus scent. i think it’s okay but i wish the scent lived up to the name at least a little bit
