14. november 2014 I also agree with the previous reviewer, the general impression of this fragrance is that i have smelled something like this before, but onlyin heavier version. And indeed it smells like a light version of Amarige: this is like a modernized version of classic Amarige in a lighter concentration. Fresh in the beginning, with melon and jasmin combo it doesn ́t resemble Amagie much, but the more to the middle notes, the more prominent the mimose, and tuberose are becoming and then it is more and more resemblening the Amarige. I find the Amarige to be really cloying but this is actually the one i could wear. The review was made upon the 1 wrist spray out of the new, unsealed by me bottle of 50ml EDT with a leaflet included in the box and short list of ingredients, so i guess it is one of the older releases.

I was given this scent in 2002 and had to give it away to a friend of mine, because it reminded me of her signature scent Amarige. MCM Gold Mode is softer though, full of warmth, honey, melon and mimosa. And overload of tuberose which unfortunately gives me headache. If you are OK with tuberose give it a try, it is a beautiful and well blended perfume. Very feminine and full of happiness.

Agreed absolutely with the Amarige likeness. This perfume is similar as in a bourbon laced white floral, but Amarige is heavier, more robust, and more jazz club, whereas MCM Gold has watery, ozone notes to it. Nice, classic all around white floral. Day or evening, rain or shine.
