La Ravissante

Bought this immediately last week, once I saw the notes I knew it's gonna be my type of fragrance that I would wear!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE, always appreciate how mdci handle with sweet,fruity,kinda gourmand notes with their female marketed perfumes~ this is also no surprise that it carries the mdci DNA. Sweet but not overly headache sweet, fruity fresh opening, gourmand on the base(I mostly smell the marshmallow it lasts and lasts until the last second) with all the sweet notes mentioned above, the woody musky notes balanced all the sweet notes to make it less designer-y sweet, not cloying at all. It brings out a subtle and sensuelle feeling, just like the painting, you dont have to be super sexy to bring out a sensuelle vibe~ BTW, Bertrand Duchaufour is a great perfumer for sure, he works with MDCI really well love all his creations for MDCI!!! he never disappoint me with his craftsmanship!! well done and thank you! Edit: guys if you like La Belle Helene from MDCI you'd probably like this as well, if you havent tried La Belle Helene go try!my another fav from this house

La ravissante, stole my entire damn soul, heart and left nothing but a broke bank account. After many years of trying fragrances, I never had such a huge crush on a fragrance before. The fragrance is not only so beautiful, it smells like it as well. It opens up with very bright and sweet pomegranate, mixed with a yummy/creamy marshmallow note. The perfume has a woody side as well that makes the perfume smell a bit more grown up YET without removing the fun and gourmand aspect. There's even something deeper that I can't explain, maybe not being able to find the mystery note that I'm dying to discover is the reason it's emphasizing its eternal beauty. To sum up, that perfume is slaying the way it should.

Before I sprayed this on myself, I was having a normal day. After I sprayed this on, I was having an electrified, exciting, energetic day. I felt like I was SLAPPED across the face in the most well-meaning way someone could slap you. It's the warm fruity florals of your adolescence turned into a masterful, well-rounded fragrance with an edge of sophistication. I never wear fruity florals anymore, but this has thrown a wrench into my routine. I need a bottle of this *expeditiously*. It's a bright, electric bouquet with a cozy, grounding base to balance everything out. I feel wonderfully feminine wearing this. Such a happy discovery.

fruity, sweet, a hint of marshmallow. powdery marshmallow, like opening up a new bag of marshmallows. there's a hint of warmth thats very comforting, but not overly warm (spicy) but i would not categorize this as "warm". its reminiscent of something i wore from bath and body works as a kid, and therefore, it feels cheap. For $250, it's simply not worth it. smells a little like miss dior, but more fruity and more marshmallow/powdery

Where have you been all my life? Grapes and Feijoa (I have bee searching for these notes forever) with Osmanthus, fruit basket and Amber Honey woods. Not a young girl perfume, not tacky, yet not heavy, but sophisticate and chic. Unfortunately, becomes almost flat in 3 hours. Dina_France (YouTube perfume reviews)

Mildly tangy red fruits over honeysuckle, I also sense the osmantus playing bridge to the woods in the background. A lovely feminine fragrance with spirit.

My favorite kind of floral, palatable and conventional but not exactly like anything else. Lightly sweet fruits, tamed synthetic florals. The result is something very trendy, fuzzy and multifaceted. Like many designer perfumes, this is elegant and versatile, extremely wearable but not one that stands out from the crowd. I suspect it has at least one accord in common with My Way and Si-- a familiar designer impulse that brings me back to the perfume counter.

I really like this! It’s a sweet, bright, fresh, and robust red berry (currant/cranberry perhaps?). The driftwood almost gives the impression of pencil shavings. I’m a total sucker for MDCI and this is no exception. I like sweet, fruity fragrances but find most Xerjoff/Sospiro/Tiziana Terenzi too syrupy/heavy/spoiled fruit-esque and Mancera/Montale too artificial.

Not groundbreaking but a really pretty fruity woody gourmand. Reminds me a bit of Sunset Hour with the fruity blast but the base of woody musk to balance out the fruity floral. Really pretty and wearable!!!

Florals are not what I usually go for. I would go for this if it weren't so expensive. I think it must be the marshmallow that keeps sends it more to a floral/gourmand. Worth testing.

Probably powder, candy, something artificial and dandy-like. Nice, not for me.

I had VERY high hopes 🤞 for this fragrance the bottle is divine, elegant and classy but the notes do not compare to what I’m smelling 😪 it comes off vintage to me and I’m not getting much fruitiness either, just woods and something powdery.. It smells exactly like the beautiful portrait OLD 👵🏽 & out dated something outdated not in a terrible way but like if you smelled an old painting 🖼️ or book! Ok let me rephrase that 😭 if Marie Antoinette had a signature scent this would be it 💀 Even tho the bright opening of this perfume smelled promising I really wasn’t wowed. But as a collector I do appreciate the craftsmanship and elegance of MDCI maybe I should of purchased Peche Cardinal instead because I'm big fan of fruity florals...

smells exactly like a grandma so if that's your thing, go for it. And the scent lasts so well, it's almost so so cloying. i scrubbed my body off in the shower with a loofah like a madman cos I hated the smell (it's all about preference. I don't particularly enjoy this type of smell) but it still had a faint of its smell left even after a scrub with alcohol swab x 2 and scrubs in the shower times two. If you like smelling like a powdery grandma with an opening note of fruit only when sprayed, go for it
