Tuberose Berry

This was my first discovery from Mejana Fragrances and what an introduction this is. Tuberose Berry is easily one of the most interesting releases I have tried recently and it has completely captivated me from the very first spray. It opens bright juicy and full of life sweet ripe berries mixed with warm cinnamon aromatic clove and a crisp kick of black pepper giving it an inviting lively start that draws you straight in. Then it evolves into its true character and this is where the magic happens. There is this stunning almost addictive contrast at its heart lush creamy heady tuberose soft delicate rose sitting right alongside dry smoky cigarette‐like tobacco that carries that perfect faint ashiness I love so much. It balances light and dark sweet and smoky soft and bold in a way I have rarely experienced. This blend makes it perfectly unisex yet there is a gentle leaning toward the feminine side especially as it moves into its beautiful drydown. The smoky edge softens further and the sweetness begins to shine through even more wrapped in rich warm depth from creamy tonka bean earthy patchouli grounding vetiver and deep aged oud wood. It never turns heavy cloying or overwhelming instead it stays smooth refined and elegant while keeping that unique signature edge that makes it stand out from everything else. It performed flawlessly too even when it hit thirty degrees up north it held its shape beautifully stayed clear and smelled absolutely incredible in the heat. A truly thoughtful creation by perfumer Qassem Abu Khalaf that tells a story and leaves such a lovely impression. I am already looking forward to exploring more from this house. I am completely obsessed with Tuberose Berry. It is a stunning, vibrant composition that feels incredibly high-end and unique. It’s honestly pathetic to see the wave of hateful, fake reviews trying to sabotage this brand. It’s so obvious that these are just envious people attempting to pull down a successful name because they can't compete with this level of artistry. Don't let the "haters" fool you—the quality speaks for itself. Even though I’ve never visited the region, this fragrance acts like a bridge to another world. One spray and I am transported to the beautiful landscapes of Palestine. The way the creamy, elegant Tuberose blends with those sweet berry notes reminds me of walking through ancient village gardens at dusk. It captures a sense of place, history, and beauty that is hard to put into words. This isn't just a perfume; it’s an experience. If you love jasmine and tuberose with a soulful story, you need this in your collection.

Really lovely perfume by really lovely people. I was lucky enough to have a friend visiting Palestine pick this up for me in person. My friend got a little tour of the workshop and they even gave her a lift home. The owners are clearly driven by a passion for perfumery and the scents of the land. I bought samples/travel sizes of all 5 of the brand's perfumes, plus a few duplicates to share with another friend. They are all beautiful scents, but this one is my favourite. It's sweet, fruity, woody and a little spicy. It is also my friend's favourite, and she too loves them all. The 10ml wooden bottle is gorgeous and the engraved key holds so much meaning. I already know I'll have to get my hands on a full bottle when I run out. Don't mind the politically/racially motivated bad ratings - it's a beautiful fragrance worth giving a try if you have the chance.
