Winter Melon

When spraying, the bitterness and sweet of melon rind hit pretty hard. On skin: initial is heavy bitter melon and indole, mixed with a little watermelon candy. Dries down to sweet melon with heavy indole scent almost like cutting open a very ripe Maradol papaya. There is also a strong smell of violets. After a couple hours dry-down, it's a nice, subtle candy melon. If you've every had the original formula '90s US version of Mr. Melon candy( not the new version), it's just like that. This would be a dangerous blind buy as a gift. Some people will probably love it, but some people will probably think it's way too strong. If you sample it, make sure you try it on skin, the smell on a tester strip isn't really the same. (on Fragrantica, it says "Melon", but on the manufacturer's site and bottle, it says "Mellon").

The most realistic melon I've ever smelled! Total melon bomb. Juicy and fresh, with a touch of chocolate that never overpowers the melon. I can't smell the orris if my life depended on it but I'm not sure why since it's supposed to have a high concentration in the mix. My sample had more orris, which gave it a fresh laindry-like quality. Overall beautiful juicy scent for spring! Notes to my nose (in order of prominence): melon, chocolate

Opens with a very juicy honeydew, between realistic and artificial - actually it reminds me of Melona ice cream bars. The cacao and fatty iris creates a white chocolate/cocoa butter impression. It's very novel and surprisingly wearable. The furry musk underneath is a bit too glaring after a while for me
