Honey Dragon

This is one of my favorite scents ever. I've been wearing it at least once a week for the last 6+ months. It fills a similar role as PDM Layton in mind, and this has replaced most the times I would wear Layton. My general take is that opens fresh and fruity sweetness with a decent dose of spice. The fruity nature balances out the dryness of the myrrh, and it's beautifully done. I thought it had juniper berry in the opening, but I guess it's the citrus mixed with the spices I'm picking up. I don't like JM Myrrh and Tonka because it is too dry. In the dry down it vanilla sweetness takes over the fruity sweetness, and it gets a little drier, but never too harsh. This is a masterpiece in my opinion. I think it leans masculine, but I always feel that about myrrh scents. The sweetness might make some feel it makes it more feminine. Either way I think it is fairly unisex. Great from winter days to summer nights, but one spray only in summer.

Got this today & I really enjoy this one a lot. It's very unique & I can't wait to spend a full day with it. So far I got nothing i can compare it to but I can definitely say it doesn't remind me of anything listed above. I don't know what these people are smelling cause this smells nothing like 1861 or spice bomb... But man it's so good! Especially in the dry-down. This spicy honey & vanilla notes are spectacular together... Definitely a winner in my opinion & I think memo is really stepping up their game lately.

I got this as a gift today, and may I say it is just... absolutely stunning. Rare find, unless you discover Memo's website in full. Strong, spicy opening, then it slowly dances into myrrh, then a very fine, gentle honey with vanilla. Unlike other myrrh fragrances, this is nothing like I've smelled before. For good reason it's part of Memo's exclusive collection... It's elegant to the maximum. In love with it.

Kind of a burnt honey thing going on here. Very fluffy. It's like if Nishane Ani was good, and it's a second cousin of Naxos. If you've found your way to this page, then you definitely should buy this; god knows how long it will be in stock. Memo faithful will feel fulfilled. It's a big honey feather pillow of Memo. Probably only good in not-hot seasons, like the entire brand, duh.

This is a lovely citrusy honey scent as not too heavy or light, either. My favourite Memo Paris fragrance so far. It is a pleasant scent and must’ve been never offensive to anyone because it becomes closer to a skin scent but also could enjoy the middle to last notes moderately.

This scent just solidified my love for Memo Paris! The honey note has a unique sweetness that isn’t too over the top or heavy like many designer fragrances and it dries down to aromatic gold. I can’t recommend this enough!

Its really good, seductive, unique and has a personality to it, this is the fragrance I would wear to impress someone, my second best blind buy yet.

Wait, I just realized. This smells like I remember D&G Homme smelling like 20 years ago.

I just randomly grabbed one of my decants this morning to try and this was the one chosen. This scent is glorious for cooler detention any season I dint think I have anything quite like this in my collection it’s smells cool and fresh and clean. For some reason it reminds me of crisp mountain air in a ski resort no idea why but that’s my association. A lovely fragrance I don’t hear anyone talk about but one of the loveliest I’ve tried from this house.

Mad opening lots going on and too much for me to digest accurately with the one sampling I’ve done. On card this dries down to an erba pura type beat so it’s a pass from me.

If anyone can message me or comment any similar fragrances to this it would greatly be appreciated! I have smelled or own a lot of the fragrances in the "This perfume reminds me of" section and can say the majority of them (Orom, Puritas, Prive Blue by Armani, and Spicebomb) do not smell very similar.... they may be in the same family of resinous, sweet, and spicy but they're all very different in how they approach it. HONEY DRAGON is very hard to find here in the USA and I don't want to use up the rest of my bottle until I find a similar smelling fragrance if anyone can point me in the right direction! My review of Honey Dragon by Memo Paris: Off the top you get that nice "honey" sweetness, even though no real honey accord is used, with what feels like an effervescent ginger/citrus mixed in. It quickly fades into a very airy or fluffy vanilla (not overtly sweet or thick vanilla, very well blended with a little balsamic darkness to it due to the resins) with that very present honey sweetness in the background, the honey is subdued and not overly cloying by any means like many other honey fragrances. It dries down into a fresh-spicy ambery goodness with some slight honey sweetness. Unisex leaning a bit masculine but I can see women pulling this off easily!! I’ve heard it described as Nishane Ani and Xerjoff Naxos combined and it seems very fitting...

This is today's get your steps in at Selfridges perfume lounge winner of the day. I mean wow. Beautiful resinous churchy scent. To me it's not super sweet or honeyed, it reminds me mostly of Armani Bois d'encencse without the heavy incense (but all the resinous churchiness.) My go to genre that usually blows me away so nothing new there but this one is definitely a show stopper to me. Not super heavy, or dense, more just a really nice, just sweet enough envelops your aura kind of scent. Thyme is very low key not too herbal but still gives it an edginess. Love this one.

The notes here aren’t super correct and missing a major element which is ginger. The initial spray is very spicy but in a way that’s more ginger and not pepper, like you’re smelling a ginger teabag right out of its package. After that dissipates it becomes more honey sweet, but not thick honey but a light sweet, like honey that’s been diluted with a little water. It still has a tiny bit of ginger. Overall I got this bc it’s very unique to my collection and I think it can both stand up by itself or layer well with my other fragrances

I really can’t believe someone had the nerve to say this is similar to Erba pura. Seriously go get your nose checked. You couldn’t be more off with that review. The opening and everything about this fragrance is beautiful. Honey, vanilla and myrrh what more do you need. Must have imo.

Cool presentation and exclusivity. Smell is somewhere at a 7.5/10 for me. Mostly sweet that resembles honey with hints of spice. Slight Honey Dijon in the opening but gets sweeter. Really reminded me of something xerjoff would release.

Spicy, it gives red hot cinnamon candy vibes! very aromatic, spiced incense and vanilla scent. It is complex and intriguing. It opens loud but calms down in just a few minutes. This is very nice. Very good.

My favorite memo. Before Honey Dragon my favorite was Quartier Latin, and before that African Leather. But this one 👍👍👍👍. Le chic parisien par excellence.
