Jannat

Soapy neroli, fresh, slightly bitter petit grain, zesty citruses and soft, sweet florals, with a musky, clean feel. To me, Janaat doesn’t smell like a cheap cleaning product, like others mentioned below, but rather like a zingy, sweet citrusy/floral centric fragrance. The sweetness coming from the liatris and tonka beans adds a nice, addictive touch and contrast deeply with the more green, soapy, fresh, citric opening. My favourite part of Janaat is the dry down: it’s rich and gorgeous and leaning towards a gourmand tonka. It doesn’t smell like the most expensive and luxurious fragrance ever created either, but I genuinely believe that it’s a well executed fragrance of its kind. It’s a feminine scent for sure, and one more for spring, summer weather. If you’re into citruses, neroli, petit grain gingery type of perfumes, you can’t go wrong with Janaat! I have bought my bottle for a super cheap price, so for what I’ve paid for, I am considering this good value for money! Not a winter perfume by any means, but when spring arrives, this goes on my day to day rotation of freshies, alongside Sensual, Crepuscule des Ames, Allegoria Pamplelune, Torino 21, Infusion de Gingembre. And it smells very beautiful and energising! A mood booster for me.

I think I have just found my favourite summer scent. Where has Jannat been all my life? Right out of the box you get this burst of citrus, citrus, and more citrus, yet it is not overwhelmingly so. I also detected the whiff of Sage. Surprisingly, Jannat is not shy or apologetic. It projects fantastically but does NOT last long at all. The initial excitement died down after an hour, and it became skin scent for a couple of hours before totally dissipating. Such a disappointment. Lasts a bit longer on clothing though. It is reminiscent of fun summer days, so you may want to carry it around with you to reapply. I did not get too much of the floral tones. This scent is unisex, but as a man, you can carry it well. I had initially rated it 9/10 but due to the poor longevity, which is important to me, I am revising it down. Rating: 6/10

Apparently Jannat has been reformulated. According to Memo these are the current notes: oil of grapefruit oil of neroli orange blossom absolute oil of ginger Pear Gentian absolute Sandalwood Musk I personally love this version for summer. It smells so fresh and natural. No one note really stands out to me, though it’s definitely citrusy with a fresh floral sweetness. This is one perfume that never gets cloying in the sticky heat and humidity of Ohio. It definitely lasts longer on clothes, where I can get whiffs of it around 6 hours later. On skin I only get about 3 hours. However, it has great sillage for something so fresh. I’ve tried all the high end freshies from LV, Creed, etc and even other Memos. This one has my heart.

Jannat was a love at first sniff for me. Sprayed it on me in Neiman's and just melted. Over the holidays. I purchased a few samples from the Memo website to test and decided to get a FB. Jannat is a beautiful, cheery citrus forward fragrance with grapefruit and neroli that are masterfully blended together. Neroli can go wrong on me when not done well, but in Jannat the neroli is hitting in all the right directions. Although this is a citrus scent, I will most certainly wear it all year round. Leaves a beautiful scent trail and has better than average staying power. Well done, Memo!

If you can get the orginal bottle prior to the reformulation it’s much stronger and last longer. In the same vain as Tom ford Neroli portifino forte and I am coming home from floriku. Very nice clean launder neroli and a little bit of powdery nuance. Perfectly unisex and not girly at all. Very well done and underrated
