Jannat

Soapy neroli, fresh, slightly bitter petit grain, zesty citruses and soft, sweet florals, with a musky, clean feel. To me, Janaat doesn’t smell like a cheap cleaning product, like others mentioned below, but rather like a zingy, sweet citrusy/floral centric fragrance. The sweetness coming from the liatris and tonka beans adds a nice, addictive touch and contrast deeply with the more green, soapy, fresh, citric opening. My favourite part of Janaat is the dry down: it’s rich and gorgeous and leaning towards a gourmand tonka. It doesn’t smell like the most expensive and luxurious fragrance ever created either, but I genuinely believe that it’s a well executed fragrance of its kind. It’s a feminine scent for sure, and one more for spring, summer weather. If you’re into citruses, neroli, petit grain gingery type of perfumes, you can’t go wrong with Janaat! I have bought my bottle for a super cheap price, so for what I’ve paid for, I am considering this good value for money! Not a winter perfume by any means, but when spring arrives, this goes on my day to day rotation of freshies, alongside Sensual, Crepuscule des Ames, Allegoria Pamplelune, Torino 21, Infusion de Gingembre. And it smells very beautiful and energising! A mood booster for me.

I think I have just found my favourite summer scent. Where has Jannat been all my life? Right out of the box you get this burst of citrus, citrus, and more citrus, yet it is not overwhelmingly so. I also detected the whiff of Sage. Surprisingly, Jannat is not shy or apologetic. It projects fantastically but does NOT last long at all. The initial excitement died down after an hour, and it became skin scent for a couple of hours before totally dissipating. Such a disappointment. Lasts a bit longer on clothing though. It is reminiscent of fun summer days, so you may want to carry it around with you to reapply. I did not get too much of the floral tones. This scent is unisex, but as a man, you can carry it well. I had initially rated it 9/10 but due to the poor longevity, which is important to me, I am revising it down. Rating: 6/10

Apparently Jannat has been reformulated. According to Memo these are the current notes: oil of grapefruit oil of neroli orange blossom absolute oil of ginger Pear Gentian absolute Sandalwood Musk I personally love this version for summer. It smells so fresh and natural. No one note really stands out to me, though it’s definitely citrusy with a fresh floral sweetness. This is one perfume that never gets cloying in the sticky heat and humidity of Ohio. It definitely lasts longer on clothes, where I can get whiffs of it around 6 hours later. On skin I only get about 3 hours. However, it has great sillage for something so fresh. I’ve tried all the high end freshies from LV, Creed, etc and even other Memos. This one has my heart.

Jannat was a love at first sniff for me. Sprayed it on me in Neiman's and just melted. Over the holidays. I purchased a few samples from the Memo website to test and decided to get a FB. Jannat is a beautiful, cheery citrus forward fragrance with grapefruit and neroli that are masterfully blended together. Neroli can go wrong on me when not done well, but in Jannat the neroli is hitting in all the right directions. Although this is a citrus scent, I will most certainly wear it all year round. Leaves a beautiful scent trail and has better than average staying power. Well done, Memo!

If you can get the orginal bottle prior to the reformulation it’s much stronger and last longer. In the same vain as Tom ford Neroli portifino forte and I am coming home from floriku. Very nice clean launder neroli and a little bit of powdery nuance. Perfectly unisex and not girly at all. Very well done and underrated

Jannat is a laugh caught in the throat of spring. Neroli first, sparkling yes, but not the holy, waxy neroli of orange blossom prayers. No, this one giggles girlishly, frothing like citrus soda fizzing over chilled glass. Cheeky and airborne, spritzing skin like midday light refracted through linen. There’s bergamot in there too, our classic, bright, familiar friend. But it comes with sliver of sourness, like a green mango pulled from the tree a day too soon. It gives the whole fragrance a kind of slan. Off-centre, but intriguing. Neroli’s usual cleanliness is still present, but now touched by playfulness, like someone too well dressed who then goes barefoot. With wear it softens, almost imperceptibly, into a haze of tropical petals. Not the humid, glistening white floral bombshells of the equator, but gentle notes, a paper-thin frangipani dream. Subtle and softened, a backdrop, like pressed flowers in a well-loved book. The musk gives the whole thing this vibe freshly-laundered shirt left to dry in a citrus orchard. Crisp, sheer, kissed by skincare yet maybe not all heaven. There’s a faint sour edge in the musk that keeps it from full innocence, like something ever so slightly... raw, underneath. Not quite off-putting, but not cloud-like either. The kind of note that makes you smell your wrist twice just to double-check. In the end, Jannat is light, fun, ever-so-casually charming, like someone who swears by their holiday white T-shirts and doesn’t own a winter coat. Not unforgettable, not earthshaking, but still lovely.

"Jannat" is a wonderful neroli-citrus fragrance with just the slightest touch of flowers beneath. It had a marvelous staying power of more than 8 hours, but it did stay close to skin all the way. I do believe "Jannat" is purely feminine, the neroli is crisp, sweet filled with sunshine. As this is marketed towards children (? really) I do have to add I don't believe this is a childish fragrance in any way, yes it's innocent and very gentle, but the opening is rather strong and it feels very mature all trough the way. Very clean, pleasing and cute. Not sure about this being worth the big price tag, but a very good experience nevertheless.

trying the reformulated version with the notes stated by cgaleb below that's a beautiful freshie- citrus with a twist, must be the ginger and the pear, it has some sweet spiciness to it. some woodiness in the drydown makes it more balanced and unisex doesn't last too long, but holds on as a skin scent for some good 6 hours great scent for summer, considering getting a full size (if I find a good discount) for my collection

Interesting combination of fresh aromatic notes, zesty citruses, floral accords and tender powdery/musky base. For some reason I can feel lots of Osmanthus here, but a tart and slightly sour one (not the deep lactonic osmanthus). It also has subtle sweetness in it, but just a bit. Longevity great! I smell flovers from good ingrediens and quality at the beggining. Its taking me to Marie Anoniette gardens. ... And yes not sure which tone but it does remind me Lubin- black Jade with a very first tones. One of my fav from this brand. An old French style... coming out of the ingrediens and way it was formulated. Drydown is sexy.

Innocent, delicate and joyful,a gentle trail that carries to childhood. A nice fragrance... I like it! Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 8./10 Scent: 7.5/10 Overall: 7.5/10

I dont know what they had done to this treasure! recently Memo is back to my country and I tried Jannat and It is not neroli musky anymore. It becomes stupid creepy grapefruits-mimic sulphur juice! Shame on you, Memo!

My initial impression is that the lemon and clary sage opening is dialled up to 11. I hope this settles down fast and the frangipani kicks in, otherwise this tester is being washed off asap.

Innocent perfume, too high a price for something that could very well be replaced by a simple soap.

What is it about this brand that I just can't stand. Is it the fact that all of their fragrances I find top heavy and sharp? Or is it that I find they're not very well blended? Or is it the fact that they don't smell worth their price? All three. Another disappointment from a brand that I have never been impressed with. It honestly smells like a really bad household cleaner that you would buy at the dollar store.

Memo JANNAT is a rather unexpected unisex composition with a strong neroli-citrus opening that swiftly transforms into something like the scent of hot dryer sheets. It's not as chemically--perhaps they are organic dryer sheets-- and it has a touch of the smell of the dryer itself, rather than just that of hot clean laundry. Do I like it? Well, yes, I guess I do. There is definitely a family resemblance here to Creed LOVE IN WHITE, which some have used laundry-related metaphors to describe. JANNAT makes a nice addition to the Memo collection, with no redundancy or repetition or even resemblance to the other perfumes. This one would appeal most to those who are into the shampoo/conditioner and generally CLEAN fragrance fad.

This starts out with a fleeting flash of citrus, mainly bergamot which I think smells like sexed up lemons, along with the more herbal side of neroli. I can detect smooth undertones though which push forward almost immediately. The opening feels a tiny but masculine. This then totally morphs into a gorgeous velvety soft, somewhat powdery and clean floral, it's now turning more feminine. It's a very comforting smell, and it's now dominated by gorgeous frangipani and sweet tonka bean. I do feel a slight exotic smokiness coming from the frangipani which is wonderful. Lovely scent, I wouldn't buy a full bottle though.

Jannat by Memo A lovely neroli fragrance, youthful, fresh, clean with herbs. The first spray is citrus-bergamot accord. I sense clean neroli with a faint orange edge after the top notes softens, musk, sweet, floral frangipani along with a subtle herbal clary sage. The neroli-citrus combination is nice, I get the distinctive purple colored liatris (deertongue) on my skin, it is a dry vanilla like scent. Jannat smells very pretty but it is still unisex. I think I would like to wear it during the hot summertime or after a bath.

This is very soft and silky mix of creamy citrusy Neroli and sweetie white flowers with fresh green undertone which seams to be softened by vanilla like accord which may be comes from the Tonka . The Neroli scent is very smooth and romantic citrusy sweet floral and it is never going to a powdery or laundry category which is very nice to keep the fragrances luxury and elegant and not shifting it to clean citrusy scent Score 5 out of 10 Thanks

This has a similar DNA to other Memos- there's a trace of Inle and Eau de Memo in here- they all share a streak of green bitterness. What I appreciate about Jannat is that it is a true neroli and has a lovely floral undertone but it is not an orange blossom white floral, which often can give me a headache. The drydown is musky with almost a bit of a smoke scent on me. I find it completely refreshing but complex and sophisticated.

Janet Original, the earliest version of a transparent glass bottle with a thin illustrated sticker(small, tiny flowers on it), is a neroli musk scent which is amazing. After they had been renewed the bottle with a thick plate, the scent had been changed totally and it is going on as a banal, sour grapefruit juice. Now they renew the bottle design again, it is still a grapefruit juice. What a shame.

Oh heavens! My nose is glued to my wrist. This perfume is so good, innocent and like a summer day from childhood. I don't know how to describe it. I fits the song Theme from a summer place with Percy faith. A little naive, but very, very, very happy. There is something powdery in here that tickles my gut in a good way. Thanks to Rebella that made me able to try this.

I've been trying it for a few days. I like the beginning, which is of wonderful neroli, slightly tart. There is a certain freshness, but the aroma is warm. Unfortunately, after it calms down,a strange and quite unpleasant note appears, maybe sweat? Quite disappointing. The durability is about 7 hours on my skin. I was very enthusiastic, but I will not buy it.

A fresh blend of sour and bitter citruses with a very subtle spicy and sweet ginger helping the transition into a more sweet yet still citrusy floral musky blend. Fresh, green citrus notes, herbal drydown, slightly spicy from the ginger. I can't preceive the tonka too much. I don't know, this is too simple and overpriced. Seems unfinished for some reason. It doesn't last anyway. I hear this is a reformulation? maybe the previous edition was better...

-Opens smelling bright and tropical. -Surprising, given its bottle design gives off the vibe it'll smell more woody and grounded. -Dries down a horrid seaweed-like scent, with a hairspray undertone to it. An absolute mess. -Reminiscent of Eremia- another seaweed atrocity from Aesop. (-)

Really great fragrance. If you like neroli - try this one out. One of the nicest compositions in this category I've tried. Super aromatic neroli-citrus and herbs-wild flowers blend. Unisex but with a soft feminine touch. Really like it!

To me it smells just like Chanel CHANCE EAU TENDRE, but a little softer. Beautiful though.
