The notes of this have intrigued me for a long time and finally I ended up blind buying this gem. I'm definitely an Oud girl, I have them, quite a lot for a nordic woman. So my biggest concern regarding was precisely that oudh, I just don't need them more. Yes, saffron gives a hint of orientality and there is woodiness in the scent, but at no point this doesn't turn to be rubbery (or that kind) of agarwood. I am so happy for that! The nuttiness and sweet caramel combined, with that milkysoft leather rather give me an almost smoky effect, like burning tar...oh my! However, not too heavy, balanced. The slight herbiness and crisp bitterness of the rhubarb/mate cuts, lightens and balances that caramelly smokiness, giving some airiness and very unique character to this scent. Definitely unisex! Definitely to my taste. Really my nut.

Received my bottle today. Haven’t done a full day wear test yet. My first impression after wearing it for an hour is that it leans masculine. Especially when first applied. It gets a bit more unisex in dry down. I guess that’s due to the thyme ... it’s not medicinal but it has a bit of a herbal bite. I also get the hazelnut and it makes it a bit creamy/nutty, but it’s not lactonic. I think this would work great for fall weather. It’s a strong fragrance... it has some similarity to Side effect by Initio.. not a dupe but a bit of the same vibe in the dry down. I definitely like it... but it not as gourmand as I had expected (maybe hoped).

Worthy addition here from Memo. You have the nutty element from the hazelnut under amberwood. The amberwood isn’t lost on me like it is in Uncut Gem. This is built on the tonka/vanilla sweet(er) base. Certainly not gourmand, and For me it’s not super woody. It’s more of an amber. It’s certainly a crowd pleaser and has my full attention! I just got my bottle today, so I may come clean this up a bit. Great scent here! Fast forward a month. I love this gem. It’s cozy, and warm. It’s sexy. 10/10 Edit- cannot get enough highly recommend fb worthy etc. 10

I had a sample which I liked a lot. Was thinking it over and then Memo had 20% off plus a free 10 ml of your choice, so I decided to go for it. I now love this. Don't know if it is because I have the spray now and the sample was a dabber. The oud seems a bit smoother in my full bottle. So many notes, yet well blended. To me the hazelnut, caramel, honey and the saffron stand out more. Just loving this, my 4th from the Memo line.

Smells like a kilim shop, in the best way possible. At first contact, it is similar to Trussardi, due to the hazelnuts, but differences become more apparent with proper wear. A great, exotic, release from Memo.
