Siwa

This one grew from a like to a love, quickly. I like the opening, love the dry down. The opening and first 20 or so minutes remind me a lot of my Chanel No. 5 Eau Premiere, due to the vanilla-aldehydes-floral combo, but where Eau Premiere is more soapy and floral, Siwa is a little deeper and a touch boozy. The whiskey note definitely makes its appearance right at the beginning, and stays as the fragrance transforms into an airy version of a custard or flan spiked with a little bourbon. I don’t get overt florals from this - I think they just serve to balance the composition and prevent it from becoming heavy ans dense, like many vanillic fragrances do. The Youtube reviews saying this smells like an expensive oil or lotion are dead on. I don’t care a ton about sillage and projection, but this is definitely not the lightest in my collection. I think most of those comments are made in relation to price, which I think is a fair point. I’m a big fan of Memo so far - I have blind bought two fragrances from them, and both quickly became favorites. Marfa and Siwa are just different enough to come off as distinctly niche, but also crowd-pleasing and easy to wear. They just also happen to be right up my alley as far as preferences.

An all year round vanilla fragrance. I'm personally not a fan of vanilla scents, they tend to feel too greasy or give me nausea. However, Siwa is a perfect vanilla for people who don't like vanilla. I know this sounds strange but it's a very moderate, easygoing vanilla floral scent. Vanilla lovers may actually find this too weak and not gourmand enough. For me, this is the perfect vanilla I can bear with. It smells expensive - in a hotel lobby, luxury store sort of way. I also get an image of a career woman working in a softly sun-setting office (not a blazing one). Though it is a warm and calming scent, it feels more refined than fluffy and easygoing. It's not a scent that reminds me of warm hugs (though if someone did smells of Siwa when I hugged them, I'll cling on) but more like a polite and warm but keep your distance with me and please respect my boundaries kind of scent. Let me just say this: I never thought I will buy a vanilla perfume, but here I am! Sillage isn't the best but it lasted on me for more than a good 8 hour. 7/10

Purchased from an upscale department store. It smells as true as the notes listed. Siwa is a soft, floral and is beautiful. Smooth, powdery dry down. Beautifully blended with an emphasis on the narcissus. I LOVE narcissus! Could definitely wear for three seasons except winter and I plan to. Siwa is not a scent bomb, so people won't smell you before you walk in a room, BUT, they will definitely smell this lovely fragrance when you walk by. Longevity: 8-9 hours. This is the third Memo Paris fragrance that I've purchased this year.

I really do love this, but in the "what's not to love?" sense. It's pleasant and unchallenging without being boring or overdone. The vanilla is forward but not too sweet or gourmand. The cinnamon leaf is intriguing and a bit addicting without turning scratchy. I certainly do not get frankincense in this at all, though it's listed as a note and highlighted as part of Siwa's story. It's a lovely vanilla narcissus barbershop fragrance, but where is Egypt here? The website description focuses on Siwa as a historical connection to grain-- but there is no cereal/grain/barley tie-in to the fragrance itself. That would have been amazing! Definitely leans a little feminine but I am begging men to give it a shot. I put it on my husband (who is squarely uninterested in fragrance but likes Memo bottles) and it was fantastic and sexy.

Soft, sweet and lovely. I seriously love this. I like vanilla fragrances but some too strong vanilla fragrances give me nausea. I thought I had to give up vanilla. However, Siwa is just for someone like me. It starts with a bit of a strong aldehydes fragrance, which I'm not the biggest fan of, but after a few minutes, the magic starts. It changes into the most soft vanilla fragrance ever. It's a sweet vanilla, but not nauseatingly sweet, but cozy-sweet. It just makes me want to hug myself. Also, there's a little bit of musk in my nose after a few hours. It makes the fragrance lasts longer and keeps the vanilla clean. The projection is not that great as others have mentioned too, but the longevity itself is quite nice.

This fragrance has been reformulated. Accords as popcorn and whiskey are no longer listed in the note breakdown. Siwa is a very soft and creamy fragrance. Like other Memo fragrances Siwa is masterly blended and smells luxurious. As some other reviewers have pointed out, Siwa has this baby bath smell. Soft and warm like a blanket. Personally I also think of summer when I smell this fragrance. Luxurious lotion, sun kissed skin and long summer nights. I wish Siwa would project a little more, as it sits very close to the skin, but to much projection from this fragrance might be to overwhelming. Siwa is inoffensive and perfect for daytime wear spring, summer or fall.

An airy, ozonic, slightly floral (narcissus) vanilla with a grainy, cereal like undertone. Very creamy, smooth, smells like luxury body lotion, clean, freshly showered skin. Not too sweet, it's the vanilla for the heat of the summer. Very fleeting in the winter months, only really works on warm skin. I have a very sensitive nose and hate the current trend of "I am only paying this much if I can be smelled from hell", that being said, it's even a bit too light for me. I would like to feel it more, because it's beautiful. Great for layering or wearing it at home, and I find myself reaching for it quite often when my nose is tired, overstimulated and needs a reset.

My boyfriend said I smelled like a church, and that it was a good thing. I guess it’s a compliment I’ll take. I can see where he’s coming from. I smell wooden pews, candles or incense being lit. I don’t know how the popcorn note was able to produce that, but I’m not complaining. To me it’s a sweet and spicy, woody and floral, soapy spritz. It’s light and airy to my nose and has a fizziness about it. It reminds me of Diptyque Eau Duelle EDT in terms of density and texture, but this is also more with the trunk of a tree while Eau Duelle is with pine needles. Perfect for Fall weather.

The notes on this are wayyyy off. Correct notes are (according to the Memo website): Narcissus, incense, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, freesia, heliotrope, orris, sandalwood. A wonderful soft wearing fragrance that smells like it should be placed in the “clean” category although it has a slight yummy (cereal) point of difference. A stunning everyday type scent but lasts all of 2 hours. For the right price, I would buy Siwa for a cosy, intimately projecting perfume.

Siwa by Memo Paris is a quiet and shy scent that is reminiscent of rice pudding or flan to my nose... I really like it because I love shy scents that do not project and announce my arrival. I do agree with others about Siwa’s poor longevity, unfortunately, it’s true. But it’s not too bad, I get 3 good hours so it could be worse... All in all, it’s a love for me. I got a full bottle of this at a heavy discount so I wasn’t too torn up about it...

Siwa is another gem from Memo. I highly recommend giving it a proper sniff. Reading the notes or looking at the olfactive pyramid doesn’t do it justice at all. It’s soft, delicate, and comforting. A creamy, musky scent that reminds me a bit of Narciso perfumes but more refined and subtle. There’s a smooth sweetness running through it, almost like warm skin.

I literally had to overspray myself just to get a hint of the scent. It’s a slightly sweet vanillaish floral scent. Nice BUT can hardly smell much even with direct sniffing on the over sprayed spot. Kinda remind me of Eau Duelle EdT vanilla scent but since both are so weak, I can’t confirm my feelings. Edit. Something in the dry down made me love this!

Utterly disappointed in this amazing fragrance. Has the notes of Whiskey and Narcissus perfectly blended and very prominent. Turned into a skin scent within minutes for me. Seriously considered buying a bottle if it had a bit more silllage for me. Oh well.

Narcissus and Vanilla Goodness!!!!! I've had this in my collection for a while and just got another new bottle. The vanilla in Siwa is so sublime...it just whispers femininity, class and elegance. Love, love, love!

Beautiful soft vanilla with a touch of oat like feel and soft florals. The whiskey & popcorn notes are mute on my skin. The narcissus is sweet like honey, really really like this !!

It's a gorgeous gold colored scent! I don't know whiche one does this, because the official site & the fragrantica notes are different, and i only relate this to the whiskey & the popcorn note maybe - but there is an awsome almost boozy honeyed-cereal like grain accord which is smeard creamy on a slippery-silky smooth, and softly vanillary, light butter accord. But the opening of this rich composition is truly light, breezy & ethereal thanks to the ozonic violet leaf and the aldehyds. This airiness is paired beautifully with the almost aquarelle toned, semi transculent, somehow tiny wet & veil like, comely & pale-yellow narcissus. And this dew-y vibe of the flower is blended together perfectly that slightly liquid booziness wiche is spiced, sprinkled abd sparklened up with some cinnamon (- which is also nice and airy at the beggining) With time, the fragrance becomes more silky & powdery but keeps the written consistency. This fragrance is perfectly uplifting & sunny, shiny, gold & sweet whilst breezy and a bit dewy at the begginig with the tone of the faint but fresh, pale greenish-yellow watercolour . It's remminescent to the golden grainfields & dewy meadows which are painted by the sunbeams on an early, birds-chirping summer morning in august. While the sun is coming up, and getting higher, the tempetature is also getting warmer, just like the fragrance which is getting a bit more rich. While the sun reach at its top on the sky, the warm but light golden dustiness of the earth, the fields and the honeyed pollens are mixing with the warm air starts to dancing & playing with the summer breeze. For me it's one of the perfect indian summer/early september fragrance♡ Has a different scent profile but a really similar warm & sunshiny vibe just like Amouge - Sunshine. ( as i said the scent itself nit - but rhe mood is realky similar to It's a gorgeous gold colored scent! Yep,i don't know why but it really has a very bit of that cheerios vibe :D ( it doesn't contains honey or grain- so i don't know... maybe the whiskey note's wheat aspect) I really like this scent! Maybe i'm going to love it. (this is my second scent from memo what i like, beside sintra) The composition starts with a beautiful airy, aldehidic opening of the woody-bourbon whiskey and cinnamon-vanilla with that beautiful fragile narcissus. The popcorn note is not too potent, but gives slightly smokey and really buttery background to the scent mostly in the drydown. And the musk gives a bit of cloud like powdery effect to the fragrance. ( but don't get me wrong it's not a powdery musk bomb) it's buttery but at the same time airy spicy woody bourbon-vannilla floral scent. In my opinion it's perfect scent for spring for a gourmand lover like me (or maybe early fall at the harvest time.) It's buttery, sunny bright and airy gold heaven. Like u wake up in a warm sunny spring forenoon, the window is open the breeze with the scent of narcissus and a lil bit of violet from the garden comes in, sunshine paints everything bright yellow, and for brunch u eat a slice of bread with butter and cinnamon-y honey or cheerios or some bourbon-cinnamon buttery cookie.

It's a dominant floral Narcissus on skin, fresh, green and spring-like (honey, wild daffodil, raw stem, grassy hay), followed by a clean musk (hedione and powdery notes) and a light, airy, pure, and transparent Freesia. An overall softness and sunshine. The Cinnamon Leaf is slightly camphoraceous and medicinal, like an ambrette (eugenol) and the Heliotrope like a marshmallow. I struggle to perceive the milky or creamy Vanilla that others seem to detect easily. I hope mine will macerate enough over time to develop its vanilla, benzoin, and sandalwood. I dare to hope it will take on an oriental character in its bottle with time... Sadly, a fragrance that's too clean (baby-soft skin) for me. I wish it would warm up and unfold its resins. Its performance is very weak. It reminds me of a muted version of "Kiss Me Intense" by Nicolaï or "Cinema" by YSL. A warm, sunny, and resinous environment and landscape mainly and primarily composed of dust and salt, date palm, reeds, papyrus, orange blossom, jasmine, acacia... and narcissus.

The opening smells like boozy licorice to me, reminiscent of Nicolai's Kiss Me Intense but less... intense. The whiskey scent continues as the licorice smell fades within the first 15 min on me, which is very nice. I love the combination of the comforting, warm, wheat-cereal smell combined with the whiskey. Dries down to a nice floral vanilla (the narcissus is pleasantly dry, hay-like) that smells like lotion made of warm Weetabix porridge. Very cozy, low sweetness, creamy and wheat-y but not overwhelming. Performance is good, about 6h for me, but sillage is intimate. I don't mind the low sillage as there are occasions where I want to be more soft-spoken, but if you're looking for a perfume to punch you and the ones around you in the face, this is not it. This is also what I though SL Jeux de Peau would smell like based on what people describe (warm bakery bread), though they smell completely different.

On a hot summer day, this becomes an extremely soft white and pale floral talc powder, with just a hint of vanilla. It is very intimate and shy, almost like a soft baby lotion with a tiny musky edge. Not bad at all if you are in the mood for something white, clean and exceptionally gentle. Unfortunately, the performance on my skin is not great. Even after spraying quite generously, it becomes almost undetectable very quickly. May have to try this again in winter, though. Perhaps colder weather will give it a little more structure and presence.

Siwa is a sweet, soft vanilla with a light touch of whiskey and popcorn. Nothing really memorable or particularly amazing, but quite pleasant and calming. Sillage and longevity is a big disappointment, from beginning to end it sits very close to skin and lasts only about 2-3 hours. Overall Siwa is nice, but is it worth the hefty price tag, especially considering its terrible perfoming? Not sure...

The shortest definition is “a heady-sweet-creamy narcissus” Although it does not have a honey note, it has an intoxicating and delicious floral scent. It is as if it has been soaked in a pot of flower honey. A sheer and happy white floral and vanilla scent. It also has a slight green vibe. The incense notes are not too prominent but present. I quite like it 😍

I am big fun of Manoa Memo parfum which lasts for 9 hours and has very strong sillage. Unfortunately, Siwa smells gorgeous only during first 30 minutes, while its sillage is extremely soft. Frankly speaking, for EUR 160 for 75 ml bottle it should smell MUCH stronger as it is the case for Manoa. I am quite disappointed with this new perfum

Siwa is an opening delight with citrus with vanilla but it stays soft and sticks close to the skin though it does stay. For this reason, I wear this outside of the house when I dont want to be noticed or before I go to sleep as its dry down turns into baby powder. The delight upon spraying it doesnt last. It turns powdery.

This smells 1000% like baby wipes, but in the best way possible. Clean, powdery, and comforting. I don’t smell any of the more opulent notes like narcissus or incense, but I’m glad for that... The opening is basically just the freesia, for me... which then evolves to an almost almond-like skin scent. Naïve, but lovely!

An elegant, understated gourmand, personally I don't get a lot of the floral notes. This fragrance reminds me of a more refined version of 1460 Tuesdays' Captured by Candlelight.

Dry down gives similar feelings to Carolina Herrera 212 men. I was surprised that no one mentioned it.

Soft, fluffy, creamy and overall really pleasant scent. On the very light side.

If I had my way I would reduce the amount of vanilla in this by at least half (maybe more), it overpowers all the other notes. That being said, if you're a vanilla freak and looking for something a little different you may love this. I do pick up on some subtle whiskey and popcorn notes, wish I could get more narcissus and violet leaf. Overall I would say this is ok. Edit: In the dry down I do get a little more narcissus but not much.

And this is what the perfume smells like. Vanilla floral. Not really into it, but I can’t imagine anyone loathing it.

It’s interesting to read reviews from other people because everyone is so different. Personally, I don’t get any popcorn or whiskey from this at all - it pulls completely floral on my skin, like Memo usually does.

for a perfume which named after the God of Destruction, this is too soft. Well at least for my taste. It smells more like a sweet plot twist in a 4-hour thriller movie. Narcissus, vanilla, and musk at the end.

i wish that i could smell the gourmand elements here. to me this was the darker, malty repulsive side of whiskey. i smelled incense as well but i think i made that up.

Siwa is named after an Egyptian oasis, pyramid and title promising sacred grains and ancient warmth. But oh god, to my nose? A mirage for sure, just not those you'd chase. Come in expecting golden dunes and sunbaked temples as I did, and you'll find yourself rudely surprised, unhappily trapped in a luxury spa that overdosed on dessert. At first whiff, you think something interesting might happen. Indeed, the scent has lactonic—had airiness, reminiscent like puffed rice steeped in warm milk, a ghost of depth lingering before it flees the room. Rather, it gets exorcised by no other than BAM. Vanilla. Not the hollow, sugary kind, but the heavy, dense, cosmetically rich type. The kind that clings to your skin like silk that’s too thick for summer, or worse—like body butter made for winter elbows, but slathered indiscriminately. Here's your warning now: these notes are a lie. Whiskey? Barely a glimmer. Violet leaf? If it’s there, it’s lying face-down beneath a duvet of cream. The sandalwood tries (really) to anchor things, lending a whisper of spicy-woody warmth, but even that feels filtered through vanilla extract and powdered milk. What remains is quite the off-putting, actually. Like sweetened porridge spiked with body oil. Yes, I have it—a gourmand candle someone dared to wear. There’s something almost claustrophobic about it. Warm, yes, comforting, maybe. But cozy in that suffocating way. The way a too-thick scarf feels when you’re already overheating. It’s not that it smells bad, per se, it’s just so oddly textural, too dense, and utterly mismatched with its own mythology. Siwa says, mystery; the sacredness of grain, ritual. I say an up-and-coming corner-cutting cost-saving synthetic hand-lotion brand's promotion fair: snack time inclusive. Expect: steamy, CHEAP rice pudding. Venue: An even steamier hand spa locker room, built on the most budget-y of budgets. Just, just too yummy.

Whew, upon first sniff, I strongly disliked this! All I smelled was rancid chocolate - like an unwashed person who had been eating a chocolate bar near me or something. The dry down is a tad better. There are warm, comforting gourmand-y cinnamon notes that finally come through, and something about it makes me think of the interior of the Aria hotel in Vegas, lol. Not sure why but the middle part of this scent is much more tolerable than the opening. I wouldn't wear this given that I can't stand the top notes, but it does get better over time.

Siwa, on my skin, smelled nothing like the pyramid suggests. All these notes somehow added up to a very linear and chemical cherries in syrup sort of scent with some thin vanilla. Toothachingly sweet. Much like its sibling, Quartier Latin, there are just too many chemical notes. The whole thing is hard to pinpoint and is a generally vague sugary scent. I did not care for it.

Quite sweet lily-of-the-valley perfume. It has a milky vanilla base, and it is boringly cute. I get why people like this scent, it is soft and sweet, and gives a familiar feeling, like walking into mommies bedroom, but it is not my cup of tea. And oriental? No way.

It’s a no from me. Genuinely reminds me of how Chinese take-away shops smell in the UK, with an added, slightly detectable sweetness. I can’t unsmell it now 😩

Too sweet, generic vanilla. What about the price? Very high!... I don’t feel any violet leaf or whiskey. Such a shame.

This straight up smells like a wet wipe. Not terrible if that's what you're going for I guess. But that's all it is

Siwa really reminds me of Patou's Heritage collections Vacances. I get a lot of green narcissus here. And a strong fresh spicy quality here as well as I did w/ that perfume when I owned it. I gave it to a fellow Fragrantican who loved it more than I did. As this goes along it becomes more mellow w/ vanilla, and a boozy quality. I am also getting some of the grain like smell here as well. What I dislike about this perfume is how they took a classical perfume, (because that is how it starts off to be honest) and mix it up w/ these strange more masculine notes that don't really belong. It smells strange and disjointed as it goes along. Not like a proper perfume should smell but more like a hot mess. I really do get a breakfast cereal smell here mixing w/ a classical green floral. As I keep smelling it I keep downgrading it. It is now in the hate realm. Not a safe blind buy. Don't think you are going to get a traditional narcissus w/ a toned down greenness and a nice vanillic quality. This is a cereal smell mixing w/ a green floral. Nasty.

I purchased this absolutely beautiful fragrance in Atlanta, Georgia; a week ago, at their biggest shopping mall called the Lenox Square, at their Neiman Marcus. The sales lady was most helpful and i sampled a couple of fragrances which I felt were wacky. I know that MEMO is an independent niche fragrance but I still wanted to wear something a touch more 'vintage' smelling and mainstream. This is it. The others I sampled i.e. Argentina Tamarindo Flam Marfa were outrageous to me. They smelled like the inside of a hospital, like citrus overload, like flowers chilled by snowflakes, etc. But when I smelled Siwa, I was in heaven. The presentation/packaging is so beautiful and luxurious. The boxed case it comes with folds out to reveal a map of God knows what fictional continent or what might have passed for Asia in the 1400s. The sales lady put the case in a Neiman Marcus shopping bag and scented a scarf which was free with the purchase and wrapped up the case with it. This smells luxurious and expensive. It starts off with what is to my experienced vintage lover's nose as pure aldehydes. These are the aldehydes you get from Chanel 22 (not 5) which are instantly soapy ,sudsy, bathy. They are lke white clouds. Soft, tenuous, delicate, powdery. There is a soothing and religious air to it. Probably the name Siwa refers to the Siwa location in Nepal, and might have a Buddhist context, or Siwa the Slavic goddess of fertility. This is a churchy perfume, evoking high rising mountain slopes with snow on them and clouds over them. And yet it is not cold or icy, but warm and cozy. I sprayed myself while still in the hotel room and my friend told me I smell like the inside of a church. The aldehydes and that soft in the clouds angelic aura wears off and you are left with white flowers, honey and vanilla, and some light base touches of wood and musk. I am not picking up on the entire note composition. There is definitely no whiskey or popcorn. This is not a gourmand meaning notes made up of something you eat or drink. This is clearly a floral perfume with the narcissus as the lead. The other florals in it are violet and heliorope, which also has a vanilla scent. This is a vanilla flower. The cinnamon and ginger might be there but in such small discreet does that they are hidden and set way back while the aldehydes and white flowers are driving the vehicle. There might also be some iris flower. This is sweet and feminine, and has an old fashioned charm. There is also something lactonic, milky, smooth, and honeyed. There is honey in this scent but it's not that syrupy or heavy. The musk, too, is slight. Sandalwood is also there and incense, in a vague Oriental haze. A puff of incense. Mostly to me it's white floral. Narcissus and heliotrope. Some people can detect oats and vanilla which combined smell like Nivea cream but I don't get that at all. I am however in agreement with the reviewers that are smelling luxury skin cream and body care products. This is a comforting, therapeutic aroma that wraps you in a warm blanket of white flowers and soft incense. This is suited to cold chilly winters. It is meant to be worn indoors where you can walk around enveloped in this warm scent which is not overbearing or too potent. But it can be smelled within arm's length or up front. It just makes me want to relax at home on a Sunday on a cold rainy day or snowy day and read a book, or just lay on the sofa doing nothing but lazy day stuff i.e. watching TV, watching Netflix shows, Amazon Prime etc. It is feminine but any one who likes white flowers and soft incensy light musky white florals will enjoy it. It has a vintage feel but it's not comparable to any specific vintage, maybe just a bit but only a small bit reminiscent of either Chanel 22 or White Diamonds. This however is it's own unique perfume. I am very happy with this purchase. I am glad it was not a blind buy either because I really fell for it from the first time I smelled it on the blotter paper. Then I put it on myself and could not resist bathing in it. This is so beautiful and such a fancy perfume for a niche indie. It is actually my first indie and I can't wait to buy more luxury niche indie scents!

Christmas Day December 25, 2025. This smells like angels. Clouds and angels flying in the clouds. It tends to lean feminine but can pass for soft unisex. Opens with what I feel are aldehydes (there may be none) or it is an iris or heliotrope, a purplish flower, possibly even violet. There is a sweetness and delicacy like powder, retro talc powder. Comes off as vintage. Think Chanel No. 22. Virginal, churchy, Christmas angel on top of the Christmas tree. Instantly floral, white floral, yellow floral (ylang) giving it a bright sunny aura. There is vanilla and a touch of spice. Amber as it begins to dry down and white musk. Perfect for winter. This scent lingers and lingers like a puff of white soft smoke or incense. Expensive, and classy. Says wear something white and formal i.e. wedding dress, white suit, white tuxedo,white Baptism clothes, white first communion clothes. It has a religious aura. As such it's well suited to Christmas. Spray using only 2 sprays or just 1 because it is quite strong. Beautiful. Merry Christmas.

Newly tested, helped along by the knowledgeable David, at Harvey Nichols, Manchester. Starts off astonishingly good, a goodly blast of narcissus (which I love), sitting on a bed of iris and incense. There is a hint of the gourmand about this, but thankfully, not too much, added by the ginger and heliotrope. And thus it rolls around, picking up hints of En Passant here and there (I don't know how), with an almost "new bread" feel. I had two sprays on a card spill, which sat in my pocket for the 70 mile train journey home, and it stayed true the whole time. Sadly, it then began to dry down to that dreadful musk which I avoid like the plague, the one with the definite tang of soiled nappies. Such as shame, it had so much promise, so much so that by the time I got to Dronfield, I was considering phoning Harvey Nichols when I got home to order a bottle, and would have gone back to the store to get one, had I not been rushing for a train.

Upon reviewing the notes for Siwa, I expected a heady white floral with a slightly sweet, spicy, and smoky drydown. Instead, my experience of Siwa was that of big powder, slight white florals, and dusty, nutty sweetness. The powder (I assume originating from the heliotrope) is of a fine, delicate sort, like an expensive baby powder. It's totally silky and pervasive for the first 30 min to an hour and then settles down to allow some of the other notes to come through: sweet greenery, airy white florals, and a touch of dusty almond and dry vanilla, with maybe a touch of spent incense (though it's mild and I get no smoke). I don't get any cinnamon leaf. I don't prefer powder notes, and it's pretty much a skin scent after 3 or 4 hours, so this isn't a love. The silky powder, airy white florals, sweet greenery, and dusty-sweet drydown are of a theme, carried out coherently and well. It's a smooth and lovely combo, just not FBW for me.

Memo SIWA is a low-key, slightly oriental fragrance with a barely perceptible popcorn note--I think. I actually smell something closer to sandalwood, which is not listed among the notes, and my only other popcorn note sniffing experience has been with MISS DIOR CHERIE, where it seems quite a bit more noteworthy. I definitely do not detect anything even vaguely resembling aldehydes in this composition, and the violet leaf escapes me as well. Whiskey? Hmmm...that one is also MIA. In addition, the longevity and sillage are not very good, which leads me to believe that this is a dilute solution, not an edp. All in all, SIWA is not very memorable to me.

Wow...this mix REALLY works. Whiskey - narcissus - cinnamon, all together, in one potent mix. Yup, it certainly works, and for the right person, this could really be an amazing signature scent. But not for me, unfortunately...it's just that little bit too floral for my liking. It's unfortunate, too, because the booze is juuust right, however the floral element doesn't have enough bass-funk for my liking. I'm of the mindset that this is possibly a little femme, too, but that doesn't matter to me at all. It's the untainted floral that I'm not a fan of. But this is amazing...I just wish it had some resin or woods to muddy it up a little...
