02 Garden Party

This smells very fresh and alive, like flowers still growing. Not a scent for me, it makes me think of a very pretty and kind girl I'd want to coddle and give things to. It always makes me think of the goddess Aphrodite for some reason, just very beautiful and feminine. I lean more masculine for my scents, but will wear this sometimes just so I can smell it all day.

I get headaches from many florals but I really love this one! It's clean, simple, and makes me feel very classy and polished. You can really wear it anywhere, entirely non-offensive and would make a safe gift choice IMO.

Such a beautiful, clean floral. It reminds me of a classic Jo Malone but the price is so much better! I ordered this immediately upon sampling it. Green, clean, fresh, not sweet, not vanilla, just a fresh cut bouquet.

Blind bought this one from Marshalls because the price was too good to resist and I tend to be a fan of white florals. I’m honestly surprised this isn’t listed as a tuberose fragrance because it is VERY reminiscent of the tuberose bomb that is Kim Kardashian’s self-named 2009 perfume, only much softer. If Kim is the party-animal older sister, this one is the prim, proper, inoffensive younger sibling. It sits close to the skin and doesn’t project too much. The name and the aesthetic theme of Garden Party are very apropos and would be suited for a springtime afternoon tea wearing poufy dresses and surrounded by high bushes outside. That being said, you can certainly dress it up or down and I don’t see any age restriction on this one. A little girl could wear this with her teenage sister, her mom, or her grandma and it would still work in any occasion. Garden Party is literally down for anything. However, if you are a floral hater, don’t expect this one to change your mind. This is all florals, no sugar. Being that this one is so light, quiet, and airy, I don’t see it lasting very long on most people. It didn’t last long at all on my wrists, so I can definitely see this being a clothing and hair situation moving forward. I don’t inherently see this as a bad thing, just be aware it may live in your purse. Garden Party is not a bad buy, especially if you can get it at a discount, but I highly recommend not shilling out the list price to get it. 6/10 from me.

This is my favorite from the set of 4 mini's by Memoire Archives. I got the set of 4 fir $16 so I can't be mad about my purchase. The white florals here are so sparkly fresh and I love it. Oftentimes white florals don't always smell like fresh blooms and here they smell perfectly fresh like still on the vine/stem fresh and it's the middle of spring. When I lived in Orange County the jasmine blooms every spring and when I'd walk by them I'd get a whiff close to this scent. Surprised to not see gardenias or tuberose here but then again if you've ever been to the south and smelled fresh magnolia's on the tree in full bloom, you get that strong, beautiful white floral scent as well. Anyway, the jasmine and magnolia here smell expensive and real which is a surprise coming from this cheapie. I agree the staying power isn't there but the good thing is that I have this in a travel bottle so refreshing my scent is easy-peasy. The other one I like is By the Sea.

this is a very curious scent!! it's intensely floral in such a delicious way, it's heavy on the jasmine and smells very rich and buttery without being gourmand or too personal. it's a beautiful topper, though very opinionated on which scents it plays well with. i smell an almost smoky note beneath everything, which could be the jasmine, but i notice that that's the part of it that most often sticks out to me on my skin. the notes of this scent really made me think that it was going to be quite inoffensive and a dainty floral, but it packs a real punch to it that makes it well suited for autumnal outfits and perfume bases. it smells quite nostalgic and a little bitter to me, and i'm a pretty big fan!!

VERY floral. If ever there was a fragrance to simulate what I'd imagine Hanahaki Disease to feel like, this is it. The opening is deceptively smooth and fresh, with the magnolia primarily shining through. Then the jasmine joins the party and oh boy, there had better not be any bees in a five mile radius, or they will all flock to you. Now, I love florals, so I actually quite enjoy this when layered with Amber Oud by Al Haramain. I find both to be a little much on their own, but combined, they mellow each other out. If you like loud white florals, you'll love this, and if you don't, you'll hate it. Simple as that.

A pretty white floral that really makes it feel as if you're sitting in the middle of a garden. This is reminiscent of Gucci Bloom, but not exactly the same. I find this less sweet and more realistically floral, although I prefer Bloom. My boyfriend actually enjoyed this scent, and he rarely comments on my fragrances. Unfortunately, the longevity is pretty poor. If you're looking for a budget-friendly alternative to Bloom, or just want more white flowers in your collection, this could be a nice addition.

Alstroemeria is not a real note. The actual flowers are scentless. What are they doing to us?? But seriously folks, it is a fantasy note that serves virtually no purpose other than to evoke the image of that flower I suppose. I’m glad to see other people smell gardenia (even though it is not listed) because that is definitely the first scent I got. I can accept jasmine and magnolia too, but white florals can tend to smell similar.

This is a very floral fragrance. To me, the jasmine really takes over. It's a very familiar scent done by both high and low end brands. I got a whole gift set for about $20. Money well-spent. It's not a ground-breaking perfume but it performs well and smells pleasant.

Beautiful jasmine-forward white floral. Pretty and delicate for daytime, and really good deal when I found a full-size for about 20 bucks at Winners. The downside is that this has no longevity. Nice to wear at home, but will not last if you wear it out.

It opens up with a sharp alcohol smell which goes away pretty quickly and leaves you with a very green white floral scent. The notes do not list gardenia, but that is the main floral I smell. But it does not last long, less than an hour. It's getting donated.

I want to like this, but I just don’t love it. Maybe it’s the jasmine? Either way it has a floral note that I don’t enjoy. I ended up giving it away, so hopefully someone else can use it!

When she was first invited to attend the super secretive and exclusive Witch Academy, she thought it must be a prank. After all, she didn't look like your typical witch in all black and lace and silver. She didn't behave like your typical witch, summoning familiars with silver chalices full of wolfsbane under a full moon. Instead, she preferred her pastel cashmere twinsets with tasteful pearls rather than dark velvet and lace. Her familiars were all hummingbirds and butterflies that danced around her under a glorious Carolina summer sun, and she only summoned them while in her lush garden of heady-- yet tasteful-- white flowers. Would she fit in, or was she too upper crust for this school?

The quality here is every bit as good as any floral at a much higher price point. Smells like a touch of magnolia was perfectly blended with gardenia and friends. The overall scent impression is quality and timeless femininity. Packaging lovely too - giftable!!! <3 Updated to add: Garden Party is far nicer (to me) than the KK scent, though I guess all white florals get compared at once time or another. I also do not find it similar to Michael Kors. What I smell instead is a slightly more sophisticated, well-rounded take on Bodycology's beloved Gardenia body spray, now discontinued. Highly recommended. Snap this up at Walmart while they are still carrying it!
