Luxuria

I went to Selfridges and was testing perfumes as I need three new additions to my collection and I was going through lots of niche perfumes carefully on my list. Halley was love at first sniff but after walking around for 20 minutes the strong overwhelming musk note came through and it overpowered everything! It’s not as sweet as Halley as there’s no peach and passion fruit also, the beautiful sweet rose but it’s very very similar. This smells expensive, unisex, and well put together. It’s aromatic, slight green note that balances out everything. There’s a beautiful vanilla in the dry down that is like cashmere! If you don’t like sweet perfumes you would like this. There’s something that reminds me of the opening of Good girl. It lasted a few days on the card and I couldn’t stop smelling it. On my skin it fades pretty quickly but on clothes it lasts a few hours. I wouldn’t repurchase but I still really enjoy this scent on its own or layered with peach and passion fruit.

This scent is the sweetest, creamiest, leather scent I’ve ever come across. The composition of this fragrance is smooooooth. Luxuria is luxurious. I don’t really like leather scents but this doesn’t scream leather it’s just very creamy and deep. The flower’s are creamiest almost lotion like. There’s a bit of fruity rasberry sweetness encircling the silky vanilla, musky, leather. Depending on your feelings about leather you will love this or be disappointed. I don’t like strong leather but I like a pinch of it to add something to a fragrance. I don’t want it to have the staring role. I find this sexy, musky, and intoxicating. I have to have a full bottle. Some days fragrances’s smell different than they did at another time. Today the opening of this is very strong on the cassis. It’s quite green and leafy in the opening with some fruity raspberry for the first hour.

Wonderful high-quality perfume! One of those blended florals, that I have to resort to reading the triangle presented by the perfumer to deconstruct. The base is rich, between the vanilla, suede and amber it smells like the amber is some accord of a mysterious resin or wood left to age a bit, and added in a minute quantity to allow the white florals to not be crushed. The vanilla and suede are in a delicate balance to keep the already sweet combination of notes from going to gourmand-level sweetness. The florals are round and heady, powdery and strong. It will be hard to be interested in wearing a more mass-market white floral directly after wearing this. At first spray I almost dismissed it because it is so thick and some days I don't like this level of sweet, but I recommend sampling if you like sweet florals, vanilla florals, and/or suede notes.

Perfect wedding scent **Memoize London Luxuria** I discovered Memoize in Milan earlier this year. Apparently they sent a bottle to Meghan to wear. They are an ethical and locally sourced British brand. We all know meghan likes to support small and upcoming businesses. I don't believe she would wear Jo malone, Its just not special enough. I tried Luxuria and at £177 it is quite a price point for a perfume, but then again you hope to only have one wedding day so it should be a special one!

This one is GORGEOUS!! Lovely Rose and lily of the valley in the top notes, very very wearable, hints of vanilla and amber at the base, this is a very well rounded perfume and definitely one i will be wearing regularly. A great day time, through to evening scent, and certainly can see me wearing this all year round!

I have experienced 200+ niche scents by today and Luxuria is still my absolute fave. Cannot imagine more perfect fragrance. Delicious, sexy, clean, feminine, cozy, modern, addictive. A stunning beauty. Good news - 50 ml bottles should be available on official website within couple of weeks!

This was my wedding perfume and it is beautiful! Luxuria is such a good name for a luxurious, suedey, raspberry scent. I love it so much. The smell will take me back to my wedding every time I catch a whiff of it! Perfection to me

Just received a decant at D’Or from joe and my wife loves this. It’s really hard to Impress her but this does it. To me it’s sexy and sensual. Will definitely buy her a full bottle of this. Definitely blind buy worthy!!!

This scent is so beautiful and long lasting. It’s the perfect blend of sweetness, without being too overpowering, and sophistication. It does not smell like Carolina Herrera Good Girl.

Luxuria starts off with a grown up sweet fruity scent, reminiscent of Good Girl. It has a beautiful beginning and mid but come the dry down it smells of dusty cacao.

Luxuria is a great fragrance to wear all day round and all year round. Another fantastic perfume

A hybrid between Xerjoff Lira and Xerjoff Uden and I gotta say honestly it somehow smells like both of them quite accurately. And it's a very good combination I never thought would ever work but it just works perfectly. Love this fragrance it's between this and Veritas as my favourite from Memoize London

Testing blind I thought this was something pear like, and not raspberry at all. Considering the notes, the ylang-ylang, tuberose, current leaf, and lily-of-the-valley are apparent, suede and musk give body, but I'm not finding the raspberry (and seeing how I just had a fresh raspberry crepe that would be obvious to me), vanilla, or amber much at all. Certainly feminine, but medium light and a hint young-ish. Says you'll crush on me after this picnic or brunch, and don't you love my cute sundress. Longevity was great, projection moderate, to a lingering skin scent. Just, I'm not getting half those notes, but its pretty for somebody.

Upon initial try, it was love at first sniff! It was a beautiful luxurious sexy creamy velvety night fragrance. Hunted a bottle desperately, now that I own it (since last year Summer), its no longer the sexy velvety suede frag I was hoping. It smells just like CH Good Girl, 100% the same just more niche smelling and I'm so mad :(. What went wrong... smh edit: Tried them again side by side and im so glad as I was about to decluter it, it smells so much more beautiful, velvety and luxurious. 100% better than CH GGirl.

No surprise why Meghan didn't take it as a wedding perfume. Its too simple and has chemical edge to it. It is warm, dusty vanilla suede scent that blends into an accord, even though pleasant - i can't say its great. It has been done before in one of Initio parfums. Not royal and easily forgetable.

I went a sample this earlier and to me this smelled like almost a fake tan type of smell (not dha) but the scent they put in the tan to cover the dha smell .... Hmm abit too dirty smelling for me This is not for me but at the same time it’s quite addicting?

If you already have good girl I wouldn't buy a bottle of this. This smells 96% of good girl BUT this is better than good girl. It's creamier and has this extra little umph that makes it just better. If you like good girl but own neither purchase this on instead it's just better. But if you already own good girl I don't think it's worth it at all way too similar maybe get a sample to try and decide if you like one or the other better... this also projects and just lasts longer than good girl. I really can't describe what makes this better but it smells more feminine and more luxurious compared to good irl being more on the "skanky" side I think we all like good girl lmao but yall know what I mean. Luxuria smells just more refined and upscale and good girl is more clubbing fragrance

This is STUNNING! Starts off real smelling floral, then leads to a lovely sweet floral drydown! honestly you cant get wrong with this! BEAUTY!!! If you like hermes twilly, youll love this! sweeter version. Only thing I will say is, the sillage isn't great and very much a skin scent after 2 hours.. MEMOIZE!! If you do an extrait version! YOUR ONTO A PERFECT SCENT HERE!!!! 9/10

This is wonderful and the longevity is there for me. Its got a strange after smell of dirt/dust (might be from the cassis) ,but that's not really too prominent. I can smell all the notes for this one clearly and blended nicely, and honestly, it's been a nice one to have on skin that likes to expel perfume! :D

Yes, it is super feminine (in a good way). Yes, it can be easily worn on many occasions. But there is something about it that makes it even boring. I was mesmerized the first time, but not the second.
