Last Season

Last Season I can say right offhand is polarizing. I can say that because I really enjoy it and my mom really does not enjoy it! That is putting it nicely lol. Both of us are very vocal in our opinions. That leads me to believe not only is it polarizing, it is polarizing to the extreme! I am a Capricorn, so I naturally gravitate toward green, earthy fragrances. Last Season is all that and more. I'm not really sure what a Libra prefers on the fragrance spectrum, but I'm pretty sure this isn't it. My mother gravitates toward fresh floral fragrances like the new Tilia from MAB or the original Bombshell from Victoria's Secret. I have been wearing Last Season for only about 20 minutes, so I don't have a real understanding yet. I can tell you it's very therapeutic and medicinal. Not something to wear as an everyday signature fragrance, but I don't think Meo creates things like that anyway. His are always artistic experiences. If you could have an exhibition with olfactory artists only, I think he would be the premier artist. You would not place his collection in a department store like Macy's. They're just not compatible. And both have their place in our society and in our culture. That's why I think it's important to know who your audience is and on the opposite side of the spectrum, whose work speaks to you. Last Season, for me, does as is intended. It forces the wearer to stop and take a moment. That's it. Nothing more nothing less. It doesn't tell you what to think, or how to feel. It tells you to stop. And, I think that is the true intention of Meo, a true Artist. Maybe we are kindred spirits, I'm not sure, but I feel like I understand. He uses nature as his method to evoke the details of an escape route. Somehow, I deeply understand that, if I'm not unintentionally creating that myself.

Giuseppe Imprezzabile loves to go balls to the fuckin wall with his fragrances and throw in 1,000 notes, but somehow they all work together! I recognize the signature soft, earthy, lightly animalic Fusciuni DNA right away. It's lovely. The opening has a ton of greenery (galbanum, artemisia, pine) but those notes fade in an hour or so. In the heart of the fragrance, I get the honeyed fluffiness of immortelle, the hazy sweetness of tobacco, pungent oud, soft hay, and birch wood. There is a deep, dark, and rich leather that envelops the entire fragrance and grows stronger throughout the wear. Later on, I am able to detect mate and costus. I feel as though this fragrance is a huge shapeshifter and will have many different facets to offer my nose each time it is worn. Last Season has a lot to offer. Very contemplative and brooding. It's giving tortured soul, gothic apothecary in the woods, and/or cloaked figure in the corner of the dimly lit tavern. Great for cool, overcast, and blustery days. Strong projection and astounding longevity. EDIT — PS: I corresponded with Marco from the Meo Fusciuni team on 10/11/25 via email and he confirmed that this formula is cruelty free and utilizes a synthetic recreation of castoreum! He also assured me that none of the fragrances are tested on animals. Excellent news!

Last Season is not a fragrance that merely sits on the skin, it is an atmosphere, a memory soaked into damp earth. The opening immediately evokes the impression of rain-soaked leaves, the heavy silence of a forest in late autumn, a gothic garden where every step sinks into wet soil. As it develops, the scent grows darker, resinous, like entering a cold, damp cave where echoes linger and the air clings to you with mineral weight. It is not a fragrance of brightness or comfort; instead, it is meditative, somber, and profoundly atmospheric. It captures the essence of endings, of cycles closing, of time dissolving into mist. The earthy notes, with their almost mineral depth, create an uncanny realism. it feels as though the bottle itself had absorbed the scent of water dripping on stone, moss growing in shadow, and smoke dissipating in cold air.

I'm going to make this short and sweet because I don't have a lot of time today and this is the last sample I have of last season. Although it is supposedly a green fragrance, I get a lot of similarity to interlude man. I find that very interesting because on paper they are quite different. I enjoy both fragrances. Something I would put on if I were in a reflective kind of mood. Remember I am a 30 something female, artistic in nature. I would not wear this on a date just because there is a smokiness to it that I don't think is alluring coming off of the female trying to climb you like a tree. However! This would be attractive on a man who I find myself on a date with. I would know he has good taste which is very sexy.

Just got this beauty in today after I had a sample from a previous purchase. This was a buy at first smell for me and I’ve only done that twice (other fragrance was actually Noturno by Meo Fusciuni) back to Last season now. I’ve been waiting for a fragrance like Last season I love woody scents and this one is in the top tier for woody fragrances for one reason. Wetness. It captures the exact scent of a moist forest during spring time (If you know what that smells like then you know what I’m talking about) Last season is a very situational fragrance but once that specific situation comes around you will 100% get complemented. To End this review I will say if you buy Last season be prepared for a signature scent.

A complete surprise, i smelt it while just "dilly dallying" in a local niche perfumery. But I couldn't let it go, I kept burrowing my nose to check again and again, that this scent was real. I absolutely LOVE it. More than just woody, not quite herbal, not spicy, not floral, "just" incredibly earthy. I feel like I have just risen from a pile of moist leaves in the middle of a huge forrest, sun slicing through the branches above me and letting in the warm air that engulfs you. Moss, leaves, soil... If you like deep organic, almost animalistic scents this is absolutely stunning. Definitely not for everyone, but for those who like to dig their hands deep into the earth, this is heaven!

At the moment I think I have found my perfect green scent. This is so good that it's actually beyond words (6 points out of 5 etc.). Seeing the list of notes seems to have all good stuff only and there's a lot of those. The Parfum strength is also evident: it lasted on my skin whole day and I could smell it on my shirt on the next day. I guess the strongest smell that lasted most is artemisia. Absolutely amazing creation of the highest quality. I ordered a full bottle of this. Never mind the price: it's just worth it. For every serious green lover.

It's green, aromatic, smoky and it's sumptuous, addictive! Yes...we need to correct these bad tongues that are sulking here. The atmosphere of forest peat in the far north of Europe is strikingly realistic. It looks like an impressionist style olfactory painting. I wear it for my errands or for the office without complexes. Evolution is long like a great journey. One of the best Meo Fusciuni. However, a blind purchase is totally inadvisable and I understand that Last Season can be polarizing. But not to the point of being mean to him.

La salida es artística, realmente puedes sentir que estas en un bosque en donde recién acaba de llover al medio día y el sol está evocando todos los olores. Después de una media hora viene el secado que para mi es la mejor parte, deja de ser una experiencia olfativa y se convierte en un aroma que puedes lucir y la gente al rededor puede disfrutar. En mi nariz el sacado se convierte en el verde de Risvelium + el cuero de nouveau monde, lo que lo hace perfecto para el dia a dia y en alguna noche especial.

Last season is dirty in a way that precedes the filth known by man. If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around to smell it, does it have a scent? This is an old growth forest. The time, the age, the death, are all at the root of this fragrance. Last Season cannot be described by simply stepping into the woods, not when you scare away the fauna and your time on this earth does not share the same memory as the hundred-ringed trees and the dirt under your feet.

I got this as a gift and i love the scent, but it smells much better on my partner than me. Its very masculine, rich almost dirty scent. A very artistic capture of what walking in the woods after the rain smells like, dirt, mushrooms and stone. Very mossy and green, something truly unique. You gotta love how leather notes sit on your skin. Longevity is 12+ hours and this is a powerhouse scent. One spray is the equivalent of 6 sprays from other brands. Impressive wear

...e pensare che al primo annuso non mi era piaciuto, anzi ho avuto proprio repulsione. Nelle ore e nei giorni a seguire non riuscivo a fare a meno di annusare l'angolo del cappotto dove avevo vaporizzato il profumo, ripromettendomi che quando sarei passato dal negozio lo avrei provato nuovamente. Ed è stato amore! Da allora lo considero IL PROFUMO! Il mio profumo per eccellenza! Ne sono profondamente innamorato!

Finally I can add my first impression: Islay island-style peated whisky with cucumber and seasalt - so far it could be a cocktail, now you might wear it as well. As in most cases superb quality, will definitely be a signature scent for certain individuals. Btw. Meo, if you read this, please start supplying 50ml bottles (as well).

Absolutely addicting—there’s a mentholated quality that gives way to an ashy, damp forest floor. Subtle leather and animalic facets stay throughout as a base. I can see how this can be polarizing, and it challenged me at first, but it has quickly grown into an absolute love. Wear with your favorite leather jacket. 10/10

Very prominent geosmin, infusing a complex bed of herby, mouldy, green, camphorous nature. Very interesting but possibly not very wearable. Undeniably high quality olfactory art. Update - I had to remove the card strip from my living room as the geosmin smell was so nuclear. Too much!

Nasty opening, smells like someone barbequed meat after rolling it in dirt. Becomes an amazing green scent from afar, but I avoid smelling up close. Not sure what I think of this yet. Edit: This is amazing, one of my favorites. Edit 2: This is my favorite and it isn't even close.

work of art soil, wet logs, a distant fire, moss, decay, ocean air, and recently oiled but well worn gloves. the earth scent of all of earth scents. my skin eats fragrances and this stays for a long time + projects well, the sillage is serious

I was not into this initially. was too earthy and beetrooty but now it comes of as lactatonic. very similar to Nasomattos Fantomas, more elegant and layered with woody complexities. I am enjoying this.

Last Season is pure forest obsession—sticky woods, earthy patchouli, and moss warmed by skin. It’s dense, quiet, and wildly addictive... sooooo good.
