Little song

What a hidden gem!!! Now this is a coffee fragrance. It's one of the few times I can recall smelling coffee in a scent and not associating it with something edible. It's not trying to smell like breakfast, or a cup of Starbucks. Little Song indeed highlights the beauty of a coffee note in a composition you don't want to taste. It's a perfect fragrance for a night out. It also makes a good day time cold weather scent and like most have voted, it fits the fall season best. It starts off with a blast of bergamot and fresh airy spices like Pink Pepper and Ginger. These are the perfect top notes to transition to the darker, more mysterious phases that follow. Along with coffee, rose and tobacco are co stars and each note used in a rich and elegant way. The rose isn't jammy sweet like Montale's Intense Cafe. It's not a bathroom air-freshner rose like some rose scents can come across as at times. It's deep, earthy and smells like the color red. The tobacco doesn't smell burned and comes across like a rich Cuban cigar. The performance on little song was excellent. It can stay on skin for 8 plus hours and on cloth for days. Over spraying may not be the best idea if you want it to make the best impression. It will be a scent that gets noticed whether people let you know or not. It projects but it won't fill the room. I stumbled on Meo Fusciuni in my quest to smell more off beat, less popular fragrance brands and everything the brand makes is very unique and avant garde. They are "extra" in personality and character and and minimalist in presentation. Each creation are all very conceptual. If Dracula had a signature scent, it probably would come from this house. Of all I've smelled from Meo, Narcotico, Spirito, and Little Song were my highlights. Back to Little Song...I find the price point of $280 for a 100ml well worth it for what this is. It's like wearing a Picasso. Women could wear "little song" for sure but it ain't "pretty". There is nothing frilly or girly about this. The woman who wear is this will project 'grown and sexy'. The man who wears this projects confidence and success. Come to think of it, it's more of a dark rose scent than a coffee one. Maybe this is a scent that is made up of a beautiful balance of these two notes (Coffee and Rose) and they end up taking turns being the main star until the tobacco, musk, labdanum and vetiver drydown comes in and winds it down. If I had to rate it with my PAGE Rating...It's an E scent. Excellent!!! My best rating. It's a perfect rose scent for a man or woman and it's the perfect coffee scent for a man. If you are a fan of both those ingredients, I would suggest sampling this scent ASAP. U will smell unique, refined, sexy and unlike any other when "Little Song" is on you skin. An artist's studio. A small room, closed air, the light barely penetrating through the heavy curtains. Old and dusty furniture decorates the interior, including an old piano and an antique writing desk. A bag of coffee beans rests next to an old mug with remnants of black coffee, a full ashtray, and a music sheet scattered with a work in progress. A requiem. For whom? For oneself. One's soul. And then the dust. There's so much dust. It can wait. Composing is more primordial than dusting. Creation never sleeps. That's how I imagine Little Song from Meo Fusciuni. A dry, dusty, very aromatic vetiver fragrance that makes use of the most authentic "coffee" accord, one that smells of freshly roasted coffee beans. Not your sweetened coffee, not your latte, not even your black cup of coffee. It is the smell of the beans right from the grinder. A marvelous smell, perfectly captured. The entire perfume unfolds as a rich aromatic experience, from the coffee accord and ginger in the top to the liatris, sage, and tobacco in the heart, and vetiver in the base. My type of vetiver. Dry, earthy, slightly nutty, mildly aromatic, and married to a perfectly dosed note of civet. There is a withered rose somewhere, clinging to life. It lends a "boozy" quality and marries smoothly to the coffee and tobacco accords. A melancholic scent, one for introspection and moments of artistic contemplation and creation. It reminds me of the way orris and vetiver pair in Iris Silver Mist to create that somber-gray effect, but here it's not as cold, but more of a somber-sepia tone due to the use of coffee, slightly drunken rose, and aromatic tobacco. I had been wanting my first Meo Fusciuni for some time, and I was delighted to discover a boutique just 30 minutes from home that carries the entire line (except for #1 nota di viaggio, which was sold out). I took my time trying every fragrance and read the little booklet describing the inspirations behind each scent. I’ve seen several interviews with Meo/Giuseppe, and his personality—enigmatic, introspective and composed—undoubtedly shapes the perfumes. I also have a deep affection for Sicily, so a perfumer inspired by those lands naturally appeals to me. The range is superb: every fragrance deserves more time and closer study. Ultimately it was Little Song that convinced me to buy. It feels delicate and intimate rather than explosive—the opposite of the loud trends you often find today. It sits close to the skin yet remains perceptible, like a gentle, reassuring caress. On my nose the blend registers almost like a hint of liquorice; when I concentrate I discern tobacco and coffee, while the opening notes are, to me, very subtle—more a suggestion than a statement. The overall impression is refined and understated, with complex layers that reveal themselves gradually. And a touch of rose is definitely there although also very subtle. The presentation is excellent as well. The bottle is beautiful without being ostentatious: weighty, substantial and classically proportioned. The heavy cap is well-made and the atomizer performs above average, delivering a fine, even spray. This, to me, is true niche perfumery—thoughtful, well-crafted and quietly luxurious.

Primo vero acquisto di Meo Fusciuni. Ho testato più giorni Notturno, 3°nota di viaggio, Spirito, Luce ma c'erano sempre eei MAH... Little Song viene dalla mia ricerca di un profumo al caffè (mia grande passione) , liquori e tabacco ... direi che Little Song ne esprime al meglio questi 3 aspetti . L'apertura è entusiasmante 9/10, ma dura ben poco, ti fa subito viaggiare, ha quel frizzantino assolutamente non scontato che però ti avvolge senza disturbare ; Poi passa al vero calore di questa fantastico profumo, un dolce smorzato, un liquore caldo (rum nostrano o giapponese), un atmosfera cupa ma allo stesso tempo sveglia, un po' di legno fumoso, di tabacco morbido, direi bianco assolutamente non bruciato, un calore cioccolatoso molto puro 9/10 . Il sillage è quasi inesistente e la durata (almeno sulla mia pelle anche con double layer) è di circa un paio d'ore... un pò pochino dati gli altri suoi capolavori, mi aspettavo un pò di più. In poche parole, un profumo al caffè speziato con una punta di cioccolato che dà calore e ti fa sorridere intimamente (almeno per chi ama liquori caldi, barricati e soprattutto caffè vero). Da serata con gli amici o semplicemente una passeggiata sempre serale. Non lo metterei di giorno . Adatto ad una nicchia consapevole che sa esattamente cosa sta' indossando . Bravo Meo, mi hai stupito con questo Little Song... unica nota negativa, poca persistenza !

This is a masterpiece but you have to wait at least an hour to judge this one. At first spray its pretty bad actually. Like the week old dregs of coffee grounds in a coffee machine thats never been cleaned plus ash tray. Its that way for about an hour and then it magically changes and you smell the very well blended notes described here as you keep smelling yourself through the day. I get espresso with a twist of lemon and an open cigar box nearby. The florals and labdanum etc give its complexity and depth that other coffee perfumes dont have. It tells a story that seems to go back in time: you start with the coffee ground dregs from a never cleaned coffee machine and ashtray and dead flowers and an animalic hint where its all decrepit decaying remnants but after that hour it seems to time travel backwards where you have your fresh espresso, a cigar, and fresh flowers etc. Its a great effect going from dehydrated decayed scent but once it mixes with your body heat and chemistry which is like the water you add to sea monkeys or a chia pet, it comes alive and blooms into what its imagined to really be at its peak existence. And then it fades again in the dry down as a beautiful memory. Lasts long but doesnt project much which is ok as with other Meo perfumes I think they're meant to be meditative/setting a mood for yourself and not meant for a crowd. Cold weather perfume

this is an artistic composition. it's one of those fragrances that you wear for yourself only. and not for "relax or chill", but to explore something, either inside yourself or somewhere else in the infinite universe. I don't know about the main inspiration or about Nick Cave songs, but this is rather a picturesque thing for me, and as I love olfactory metaphors, (where it's necessary), therefore: Little Song evokes the image of a forgotten room in a timeworn house - where dust clings to faded curtains, and the air is thick with the scent of aged wood, old paper, grime-covered vinyls and memories long buried. it's the quite ache of absence, wrapped in the warmth of one what ones was. Little Song sings not with notes, but with memories: the worn pages of a letter never sent, the scent of sadness clung to the corners of the room, where a familiar nose might detect, somewhere beneath it all, the presence of an animal—or its unmoving body—(not decomposing), not unpleasant. in a worn-out leather armchair, someone smokes a cigarette and sips a cup of strange, bitter coffee while reading a suicide letter, pressed between the pages of a loved one’s diary—where a withered dark red rose still rests, fragile and unattended. such a unique work of art; bewitching you to feel loss, somber and nostalgic.

Imagine you walk into a very quaint cafe with old wooden floors and a wooden bookshelves. You can smell someone smoking pipe tobacco in the distance. As you sit down your freshly brewed coffee arrives with a side of sugar. You take a small scoop of sugar and place in the coffee. You notice each table has a subtly fragrant rose in a small vase and you prompts you to smile. That is what this reminds me of. An amazing composition and very well blended from the house of Meo Fusciuni. My first from the brand but won’t be the last. This fragrance gives off a nice semi sweet brewed coffee smell with a small hint of rose in the background. As the rose and coffee fade the labdanum unveils a smokiness to the fragrance with hints of civet and musk popping up with a nice tobacco note. I was glad the rose in here was subdued a little and not as thick. Rose wears out my senses nose depending on the type. There is a waxy vibe in the fragrance. I haven’t figured out where it comes from, it may be an accord that is made from a combination of certain notes. It’s balanced, it’s mysterious, warm. This would would be great in the colder months and projection is beastly. Worth a sample. It does remind me of Ore from Slumberhouse just a little but they are definitely different.

Revision of my entire review: I don't know what it is about bottled perfume. To me, first spray of every single bottle seems to be so off. This is a beautiful scent. I was so unreasonably harsh on my criticism, so I apologize. It evokes the feelings of being in a black and white film, antique shop, the store owner hangs herbs that are for sale, old books, wood floor, wood furniture. Dark, mysterious. The mix of the rose, tobacco, and coffee accord gives off a smell of: sweet damp woods, almost nutty. I would not put it in the gourmand range. It's so well blended, I do not get pink pepper nor ginger, nor bergamot in the opening at all. I need more time with this, but it's a love. This instantly grew on me after 3 spritzes. Nothing else smells like this. It's a love. EDIT: Compared my 8mL decant form MaxAroma and my full bottle. The decant was airier and much more pleasing. I could smell the pronounced herbs and spices. Everything is more balanced. My bottle came with extremely dark notes of coffee, rose, and tobacco. Could this be the new bottle effect, or has it since been reformulated to extreme strength? It seemed so out of place and unbalanced vs the decant. This is a brand new bottle mind you.

I very rarely experience a fragrance this stoic and interesting at the same time. Up top, Little Song reminds me of Swedish rye knäckebröd bread, like the Wasa stuff you can buy in stores, but just a tiny bit sweeter. If that's the coffee beans, then it's not obvious to me. It could also be likened to old institutional machines, like a film projector or typewriter. Or the leather on an old desktop that doesn't quite smell like leather anymore, but like all the stuff that's been done on it over the decades. An old school library with metal shelves and outdated books, perhaps with flowers pressed in them and long forgotten. International Style, less is more, Mies, Antonioni. The scent is totally addictive, and about as tasteful and classy and artful as it gets. Very versatile, as well. Not for ladies, unfortunately, except that one lady who knows her cosmology. Niche squared. The real deal. Been wearing this for a couple days, and I think it ventures into masterpiece territory for me. There's an extreme amount of nuance here. One thing that happens is that after a few hours a pleasant and complex sweetness emerges, and lingers. Unbelievably sophisticated. Worth every penny.

I've never smelled anything like this before,and nothing since. It has coffee (which I don't drink and dislike the smell), vetiver, rose, and minimal tobacco to my nose. These ingredients shouldn't work together. But they do somehow, and in an amazing bit of fragrance alchemy smell vaguely like a pumpernickel bread, or as my good friend Starcadia said in his review, Scandinavian rye knäckebröd. Performance and sillage are perfect (for me). It will last 8 hours, turning into a skin scent after around 5. Light cloud around you... Doesn't overpower at all but can tease the fragrance curious to investigate. While I'd obviously like to pay less, I don't consider $280 / 100ml to be unreasonable. I'd like a smaller, cheaper option, perhaps 50ml for $180. In any event, $2.80 per ml isn't bad considering the high quality and uniqueness of the scent. This gem is more than the sum of its parts. It smells wonderful , and I smile each time I wear it. It's unique. I'm wearing a coffee scent and surprisingly not just liking it, but LOVING it. It doesn't smell gourmand. I'm glad I have it in my fragrance collection.

I don’t know if it’s an italian characteristic, but we usually tend to despise our culture, especially when it comes to anything art-related. On this wave, I, too, have ignored most Italian perfume brands (with, of course, a few exceptions like Bogue, Laboratorio Olfattivo, Simone Andreoli, etc.). This time, I wanted to widen my horizons by trying a renowned brand that never gravitated around my interests: MEO FUSCIUNI. What a surprise, and what a dark atmosphere their fragrances have! I did not test the entire collection (but almost), and the one fragrance that stood out when I tried it is just LITTLE SONG. Many before this review have already described what it's all about (coffee, tobacco, rose – in this order), but the journey you fall into with it is something it’s hardly found in other perfumes. LITTLE SONG says, “give yourself time: enjoy the time you spend with yourself”. If you have the chance, go try it, but buy it the next day because you need all the time to appreciate his magic.

This is a very nice scent, and the first time i actually get to appreciate sth "animalic", what i mainly get is animalic musk, with a roasted coffee bean note and some ashy tobacco, maybe theres a bit of rose in there but i dont get much of that tbh, i was scared of the animalic note cuz i have never been a fan of them, and if i were i would feel like if i wear an "animalic" scent ppl around me will just hate it, but no this one is quite a soft scent, like it's not necessarily a mass appealing fragrance, but it's not rlly gonna offend anyone. I can see someone who's quiet and wears black clothes rocking this one, and yes just like others said, this is the perfect dark academia scent, like it smells so formal, when smelling this i basically smell a person in a black or brown suit studying in a library in the 1800s, there's def a sadness to it. If your a quiet, introverted person who loves wearing black formal clothing, i strongly suggest u to check this scent out

This is just magnificent. Words that come to mind ... warm, rich, lavish, elegant, sensual, comforting, longing, crimson, complex, scandalous, organic, emotional, bittersweet, and more than anything ... beautiful. It is coffee, tobacco, rose 🌹, smoke, earth, wood and although I have not seen Little Song described this way - I get an absolutely gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon accord ...like the most dense, spicy, opulent red wine you have ever had the pleasure to smell and drink 🍷 It is unisex leaning masculine. Longevity is excellent. Projection and sillage are average. Uniqueness is 10/10. I got the Meo Fusciuni discovery set, which is absolutely worth it. Little Song was my favorite. Now I have a bottle. I think about this fragrance when it isn’t around, as if it is a living thing I wish was with me. It is magnificent. 10/10 and a Fragrance score of 4.8 from me.

You need to wear this fragrance a few times, cuz it's a shape shifter depending on the weather. Yes, it's musky clean. Animalic? Not to me. Just a beautiful combination of notes listed and you can really enjoy each one of them as the fragrance progresses to a drydown. Opens up with coffee, a musky coffee that fills the room. After few minutes, everything comes to play and coffee starts to tone down but really really wonderful rose comes to the stage. Again you'd need to know your roses to appreciate this one. An airy, slightly salty and clean rose which without this would be just another musky tobacco. Longevity is perfect (I don't like 48h of longevity). Projection is moderate, and sits a bit closer to you after an hour or so. Sexy, classy, a bit dark and unique. MF, sir, an excellent work!

This scent accomplishes something I've not experienced before. The opening is lovely but quiet. There is a space between the notes that invites you in, bringing calm and contemplation. And in this state, the transition into the heart of the fragrance emerges. It feels louder than the opening, but the reality is I have grown quiet and my listening has grown more sensitive. The sense of distance and remoteness is palpable, like treasured things you can see but are unable to touch. Melancholy is a character here, but there is sweetness as well, Gratitude for all that surrounds you, and appreciation of the lessons that led you to where you are. It is a bit of an emotional reset button for me, not unlike a mediation. Remarkable, wispy and devastatingly lovely.

just wow. I only ordered a 1ml because usually rose is too overdone for me but this is signature scent worthy to me it's so masterfully blended. I haven't been able to find a dedicated fall/winter perfume bc they're too strong/spicy but this is the one. I can't even describe the smell but it transports you to a place of familiarity in an old cafe that also serves mixed drinks at night. the smell of used espresso puck from yesterday, roses left to dry that're almost resinous. you rest a cigarette on your lip as your good friend passes you a lighter, its warm in here but there's something cold and dark. the old wood has it's years shown, the little song spins on record. nothing really stands out above the other which is wonderful. full bottle soon.

It's... Intoxicating. I've only worn it for 2.5 hours and already ordered a full bottle. High quality naturals. Black coffee, no sugar, no cream, but never bitter. Slightly earthy vetiver, dry tobacco leaves. Rose and musk's lean into the background bringing everything together, softening any harsh edges. It's not too heavy or overpowering but is dark and strong, don't need many sprays. It's the scent of a man sitting in the back of an old library full of 100 year old books binge drinking dark espresso writing a letter about a long lost love that nobody will ever actually read. I'll be picking up more samples from the brand soon, this one's definitely worth checking out.

I finally decided to review Little song that I've worn for a long while now and it still amazes me! The coffee notes hit you first, beautifully blended with a dark, not-your-average floral hint of elegant rose. There’s a depth here with the tobacco that’s really intriguing, making it warm and perfect for chillier days. I particularly enjoy wearing it, feels like carrying a little secret around, unfolding slowly but surely, with great longevity. Definitely one for those who like their scents with a bit of mystery and warmth; to me deserves a solid 9 out of 10.

Such an intriguing fragrance. Definitely get the pink pepper on the opening, but after that it is almost as if it keeps changing a little with every sniff. It's hard to describe. It keeps moving from a little sweet undertone to a bit of coffee to tobacco to other things. It's far from linear. Extremely interesting, boldly blended. I think you have to be into niche fragrances to appreciate it and even though it's wearable, I don't think it would wear it often myself. Immensly appreciate the art form: 9/10

Little Song makes me visualize the clumsy poet in a small rustic dining place, drinking delicious strong coffee, writing words in a weary notebook, and smoking tobacco joints. The chairs are old and upholstered with musky material, once bloody red now old, ashen and barely attached. Romantic and emotional nature is written in his act and appearance. Well, he also enjoys wearing strong vetiver fragrances, quite melancholic - I adore it on dusky dull cold days.

Immediate opening of musty somewhat waxy rose and coffee, this smells dark and refined. The coffee does not come off sweet whatsoever reminding me way more of lightly roasted beans most likely due to the vetiver as well. The dirty almost animalic tobacco comes through really strong, being one of the more prominent notes in the fragrance entirely with a soft pink pepper and citrus all throughout as well. Dark, mysterious and alluring.

This is a wonderful, complex scent. Heavy on Coffee and Leather with layers of uniqueness. This is definitely a mature, dark academia style fragrance. It smells like either a mysterious and beautiful french woman or your attractive male professor who dresses well and reads way too much. Truly unisex in a surprising way. Loving Meo Fusciuni so far, need to get my nose to the others and then grab a bottle of this. 9/10

Bought this over 6 months ago. Since then, I have been using it like other frags in my collection of over 100. Recently something changed. The feeling around how the notes are shining especially in dry down, is exceptionally heaven-like. I made the decisions, first to write my feeling here which is very much unusual to review frags. And second one is to buy a backup bottle. This is masterpiece

Okay so start with (non-Kurkdjian) DHP. Take out all the iris, crank up the dirty animalic feel times ten. This is what you kinda get. Resins, rose, bit of patchouli, musk, and an animalic note which is nutty and roasted at the same time. Extremely niche, borderline unwearable. Beautiful and disgusting at the same time. True art, a wonderful creation.

Little song is gorgeous. To put it simply, I get an animalic musk (not synthetic smelling, not pee-like, not sharp. Genuinely the best type of musk ever) mixed with a dry coffee which doesn’t smell brewed or sweet in any aspect, and add a dusted rose. I have an 8ml, but I will purchase a bottle when it’s back in stock at olfactory. Gorgeous perfume

i thought i would love this from the notes and the reviews everywhere. however, i find it quite disappointing. it is not very strong on my skin and after about 30 minutes it starts to smell like last night's red wine spilled on my shirt with a bit of cigarette. not in a bad way though. but then, maybe also not what i am after.

Initially a blast of freshness which fades away quickly to give away really beautiful coffee/tobacco note with vetiver in the background (but lingers around). Civet is just providing the depth it's not at all animalic. awesome smooth blend sillage is very moderate longevity is okay but the quality is very good.

for me the cold green rose was prominent from the first sniff and it took me some time to start seeing the chocolatey coffee behind it. this coffee is luxurious, rich, unsweetened. the scent definitely has a melancholic vibe but it’s romantic enough to make you want to stay in this sulk for a while.

Animalic baby powder made less powdery. So musky. I don’t know if there’s real deer musk in here because I’ve never smelled real deer musk, but I wouldn’t be surprised. The notes/accords are not good to look off of because they don’t seem to be accurate to me. Super musky animalic powder... pass.

I don't even know how to describe this, but I love it. Tobacco, musk, coffee, rose, vetiver...all blended together into something I've not really experienced before in niche perfumes. This smells bizarre up close but the sillage is beautiful. Definitely something to test before buying.

Ohhh this is art. Evocative of an old wooden space, spices and dust motes in the air, perhaps a forgotten piano in the corner. The sky outside is grey. This represents old world analogue before the post edit facsimile of reality through the screen.

A very realistic take on coffee beans!! I"m a coffee lover and i made and grind the coffee myself. And when i first spray this gem all i get is coffee beans scent when you grind the coffee and smell it fresh from the grinder!! Wow!!

It's dark, dusty and gives vibes of a dusty, old basement. I don't see this ever being a crowd pleaser. That being said, I love it, and it is beautiful. You just have to be ready to smell a bit like a grandpa.

Better on skin than on paper, as on paper it is more metallic. Coffee, tobacco, boozy?, rose?, and a hint of animalic. IMO quite unique as it does not remind me of any other perfume.

I just came back to this and it is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Soooo animalic musky and layered. I feel like I can taste it. Oh my gosh, I’m buying a bottle now. Wow.

This frag lives in my head, rent FREE. I think about this fragrance often. This might be the best thing I've ever smelled in my life. This is truly a MASTERPIECE.

Intoxicating. It's really impressive how realistic the coffee note is in here. Boozy, slightly dusty, earthy, with that beautiful sweetened rose edge.

this is beautiful on my skin but if it was recently moisturized. ashiness is minimal and smoke is beautiful. in other words, moisturize.

Little Song. It's ironic because I had a hell of a time trying to find the right song to go in the background of this review. Yes, I tried the suggested Nick Cave first as his recommendation warranted. But I couldn't play it. It was too unnerving. Almost the complete opposite of relaxing which tells me quite a lot about where Giuseppe was when he created little song. The loneliness was getting to him. To the bill of anger and frustration. A loss of hope to some degree. But... Is that him, or is that me? I believe I see it in his work, but I have to recognize it before I can see it in other people. How much of all of this is simply self reflection? Perhaps this is what art is all about. Especially olfactory art where you have the ultimate freedom to visualize what it is you are feeling. I feel like I see Giuseppi, but maybe I just see myself. Maybe we are having a conversation. A conversation about our limitations. Maybe about our heartaches and the limitations that being alone applies to our lives. This is another example why I think Giuseppe and Meo are entirely underrated as an artistic house. If you have the time to sit with it, you will unearth something remarkable about yourself first and foremost. That is good enough on its own, but you also have a fragrance to go along as a companion to your newly acquired understanding! For someone who is intuitive and curious about who I am on a deeper level, I find this to be a great opportunity and discovery. I am aware I have not spoken too much about the actual composition. For those of you who would like my input feel free to contact me. In short, this is a Coffee Rose fragrance done the right way. The experienced nose way. Not to be worn on the days that you feel light or joyful. Like I mentioned earlier, there is pain and frustration in this composition. There is an element of allure within it that I find very pleasing and satisfying. The scent itself takes a backseat to the discussion behind the composition, in my opinion.

Launched in 2018, this creation channels the brooding, poetic energy of Nick Cave’s music, weaving together unexpected contrasts into a harmonious nocturne of scent. The opening unfolds with the bitter punch of dark coffee, punctuated by a daring burst of pink pepper and ginger that electrifies the senses. Bergamot adds a fresh, effusive brightness, redolent of the first note of a melody played on the piano. An animalic whisper lingers in the air, subtle yet provocative, as if echoing the murmurs of secrets shared over a clandestine rendezvous. As the fragrance deepens, the heart reveals a beguiling interplay of rich coffee and delicate Turkish rose oil. The rose, both tender and dangerous, unfolds like a soft, diaphanous veil over the robust, smoky background. Liatris lends a green, almost herbaceous nuance, evoking the quiet intensity of a femme fatale’s enigmatic presence seated at a corner table. Tobacco smoulders in the ashtray, a reminder of fleeting moments and whispered conversations, its character as raw as a cigarette’s dying ember. In the dry-down, Little Song transforms into a soft, ambery skin scent—a warm, velvety lullaby that mingles sweet, honeyed nuances with an ashy booziness. Bourbon vetiver and strong civet emerge as the final cadences, leaving behind an odoriferous trail that is both magnetic and enduring like a cherished refrain that grows more profound with every listen.

Little Song is pure dark academia. You open a spellbook stained with spilled coffee and long since dried, somewhere in a dim, shadowy library. The scent of aged paper mingles with the bitter trace left behind by the coffee stains. Whoever prepared for magic here was utterly careless; nearly ruining the book; though thankfully, most of it remains legible. As you squint and flip through the pages in search of the most devastating, dramatic spells, you also catch the scent of the library itself: worn leather armchairs, and the slow seep of rainwater, saturating the wooden floors and shelves, the bloated timber casting a damp, oppressive gloom over the entire space. Light taps echo against the stained-glass windows as you finally find the spell you’ve been searching for. You snap the book shut and quietly slip into a dark, frightening tunnel leading down toward the lower levels. The passage is lined with candles on both sides: wax has pooled into small drifts, and the flames breathe out a faint, sooty smoke. A sad/subdued musky skin scent. A cup of melancholic stale coffee with pre-wilted roses, and musky tobacco leaves, soaked in it. Its drydown is a subtle musky, salty and earthy, vetiver-like skin scent. I love it so much on a cloudy/rainy day. It could represent Lana Del Rey's aesthetic style. It is not a mass appealing scent. It is not fun or pleasing. It is almost uninspired to write a review about, but it very is deserved an appreciation. Little Song captures the vibes of reminiscing or romanticizing a past/guilt/time, you could not change. It does not get you anywhere, nobody cares, but yourself. When/Where to wear? Just like your sadness, anytime & anywhere, when you think you feels right to express it, or couldn't help it. Projection? is mostly intimate, maybe noticeable to a stranger, but they wouldn't care much for a glimpse of your sadness. Feeling aside. For just a utility use? : it is quiet a masculine/mature classy musky tobacco scent, with nuance of coffee and roses that you can wear with suits.

So complex, so dark, so luxurious. There are a million things I could say about this fragrance, but I’ll try to keep it simple. The entire composition smells like leather- the most expensive leather imaginable. Not a leather jacket, not a handbag; I’ve only ever smelled this kind of leather in luxury cars. The tobacco is like ashes from a big Cuban cigar: extremely rich and realistic. What really gives this its kick, for me, is the animalic civet and bourbon vetiver. Kind of like the smell of a haystack. They add a raw, masculine edge to the fragrance that I haven’t found in other tobacco perfumes. The coffee and tobacco obviously hold everything together, with just a shadow of rose- present, but only as support. As you can probably tell by now, I find this to be a masculine fragrance. Absolutely a must-try, along with Oriza’s Horizon!

One of the more unique fragrances I have come across. It’s really like sitting alone by your coffee-table that hasn't been taken care of since a few days, whiff’s of dried red roses with petals falling off, whiff’s of leftover black coffee from cups laying around, whiff’s of the tee you’ve been wearing since you last stepped out three days ago. You want to clean up, but your mind is elsewhere. Its melancholy. This is a fragrance you will want to wear only for yourself. I’m with a decant and will enjoy it for many many wears; I quite like it, but do I like the mood it puts me into (?). Or maybe, I will buy a full 100ml bottle and wear the hell out of it, to deal/overcome with whatever it’s trying to tell me. I don't know for sure, yet. I reminds me a bit of DSDurga Bowmakers, minus the heavy varnish note.

I don't write a whole lot of reviews, but I had to note this down: I sprayed my decant on, that I got from Scent Split, and liked it. I did the obligatory shove-my-arm-under-husband's-nose (he is not much of a tester, but he always smells). Usually it's a "yeah, that's okay", but this time he said, "oh, that smells like someone just opened a box up from storage from the attic. Wood, dust, books, that sort of stuff." I found it hilarious, because I can see it, but to me it was not a bad thing. I love the smell of old books, wood and paper. It had sort of an adventure-down-memory-lane sort of feeling to it, and I kind of really love that. Hope that doesn't turn anyone off of smelling this, since I find it fun 😊 Get your nose on it for yourself, it's pretty great!

Trying this on a test strip first almost had me dismissive of it. Wearing it turns out to be better. Much better. The only complaint is performance like others from the house. At least on me. I don't know if my skin chemistry plays a huge role. However, most from Fusciuni disappear quickly. I got just over 4 hours from this. Mostly as a skin scent. The fragrance itself is wonderful. The pepper and ginger opening is amazing. From there I get coffee and musk with a small hint of tobacco and rose. That's it. Nothing else. But for me that is enough. Really well blended. However I certainly wouldn't pay retail with the performance I get. If it performed better or if I could get it at a discount, it would be one I would like to have.

A beautiful trio of coffee, tobacco and rose. Little song starts off masculine with coffee and tobacco, and settles down feminine by the rose blooming on the skin. It is the pour over coffee with premium single origin coffee beans, followed by the dried tobacco. The cigarette is unlit, so the essence of tobacco leaves remains intact without being charred or smoky. To my surprise, rose stands out few hours later after coffee and tobacco fade. It is the dark and dried, dusty and maroon rose hidden deep in the base. Patience is needed to get along with the scent to find out the rose. The transition takes rather longer than average, while gracefully and subtly. It is not loud, but it lingers.

Tom Ford Noir de Noir, with a bit more refinement and masculinity. Also echoing @gendabenda below as she's got it right. Its the smell of waking up the following morning after a hot date. A tipped over flower base brimming with roses lies on the nightstand, along with empty wine bottles, a cold ashtray and dozens of unfinished cigarettes. Meanwhile the woman you accompanied home last night walks into the bedroom, wearing your shirt, a lovely smile on her face; and hands you a ristretto.

I had really high hope for this one and once I tried it, It was really depressing fragrance. Like if you wanna spend some time alone and reflecting on your life choice in your cabin. It’s almost too depressing if not for the rose. But the rose was not that jammy either, It was a dry rose that had just withered. Overall, I wouldn’t wear this on daily but maybe on special occasion.

Nauseating opening, like someone put a cigarette out on filthy, wild animal. After it sits for a bit on the skin it's quite a nice earthy tobacco and coffee fragrance. Smells warm, and comforting. I actually enjoy, and appreciate this fragrance aside from the opening. Just make sure to give it a little time on your body before you come within arms length of someone else lol.
