EN. Tuberose can not leave you indifferent it moves from the worship up to fainting or even hate. Odor 93 is an olfactory addiction, but not only, this fragrance becomes your obsession, an explosion of the senses, a flood of feelings. Here you won't find the top notes, as in most of the perfumes of Giuseppe Imprezzabile (Meo Fusciuni), he is not trying here to seduce you with some spectacular notes of heart, just to disappoint you then with the sandalwood and patchouli annoying mix. Odor 93 is very simple and at the same time is very ingenious: a bouquet of white flowers and resins - a male-female universe, a vortex in which the freshness of the morning narcissus and sweetness of tobacco are finding their way through the waves of tuberose and incense, all this is an irresistible desire to feel it again and again. IT.

It's initially....off-putting? It's a fragrance that appeals to social distancing! A blast of unrelenting woody medicinal oud and patchouli smacks you right in the face. There's only what I call "background tuberose" -- merely a faint slightly mentholated sweet "buzz" behind the melange of neon greens and damp tree bark. At this point in my first wear I actually posted a (now deleted :)) review (primarily to respond to the unnecessary Cross insult below -- Rouge's tuberoses are absolutely lovely. They are of the light where this is of the darkness; too different to compare). For that first wear it was a strong HATE and a large pass. I felt like I was suffocating in a medieval alchemist's basement workshop. But then! Oh hello tuberose!! As the fumes from the potions, tinctures and various dried herbs start to fade she blossoms and blooms until she does actually become the diva she always deserves to be. Clearly this tuberose is poisonous. She is something other than her usual seductive, almost tropical white sweetness. Here she is placed an altar; the smoke of previous offerings tinging her with menace and reverence. You absolutely need to give it half an hour, but after that yes, this IS a must try for tuberose lovers. I'll forgive your needless Rouge insult, Monsieur Français, in my gratitutde that your timely review brought this beauty to my attention. Bless you <3

Out of sheer curiosity, I got my hands on two samples of Meo Fusciuni, Odor 93 and Viole Nere. Immediately, the vision behind Giuseppe Imprezzabile's compositional philosophy became clear to me. There's a lived elegance, an approach that, without falling into the safe confines of tradition, tells thoughts and life with a transversal lexicon, tinged with the nostalgic and crumpled vein of a traveling poet. Odor 93, which primarily references the band Current 93 and indirectly the controversial figure of Aleister Crowley, reminded me of their song "Soft Black Stars," where they speak of a world, of the mind, without the constraint of letters and written words—a world made of senses, images, and experiences inconceivably free. Odor 93 narrates an existence or perhaps a moment of existence where completeness and oblivion are equidistant, just like matter and spirit. There's a clear tension between its notes, and this tension disrupts and overturns perspectives on the notes themselves. Tuberose loses its carnality and becomes a vestal walking on the dark earth of a cold and austere Patchouli. Spices, measured with extreme grace, and Tobacco tell a tale of independent femininity or a masculinity unafraid to lose its identity to present itself to the world as a new being. This is a perfume for a Mage.

A year ago my brother brought me two bouquets of tuberose. That was how I embarked on this beautiful and delirious journey of finding my tuberose. It has been a beautiful path, crossed by the image of a Christ with his feet covered in the oil of the flower. Perhaps it is always about covering the stench of death, about being able to live without something always smelling strange, without endings or closures. And yet, in these substitute and morbid games, meaning always prevails over the signifier. That is what Odor 93 offers: a new scent of death. The opening, elegantly animalic and dark, marks the beginning of the path through the forest. Faster than expected, the tuberose takes center stage, culminating in the encounter with the grave. There, upon the stone and the name, lies a beautiful tuberose stem, casting a glimmer of light into the darkness of the woods. Odor 93 is a perfume that celebrates life as a path toward death. Like great works of art, it helps us to die, or, what is the same, to live better. A magnificent exploration of the dark tuberose lineage, in which the flower asserts its full power without ever becoming too obvious. Something truly special.

Big edit: It is quite phenomenal how scents grow on us sometimes. During my first week with this fragrance, I felt utter hatred of the bottled scent, even though my previous maxaroma decant was spectacular. To my knowledge, the fragrances have increased in concentration: EDP to Parfum. I still feel that this maneuver by the creator allowed for greater longevity but a detriment to its balance of notes and subsequently to the overall scent. The now up to date parfum scent is now a richer and fuller bodied version of the EDP decant that I still have at hand. Creamy waxy tuberose under a light mentholic veil. I imagine it being lovely for spring seasons but I don’t see any versatility in this fragrance. I am speaking for myself, mind you. The entire line has a very old dark antique dna to it, and this is no exception to that statement. Do not blind buy. Heed our warnings! 7.5/10. A like, but far from a love.

I have been obsessed with this fragrance(and Meo Fusciuni in general) and like some other commenters here, I am not even a tuberose person. This obsession might have to do with the fact that I am a certified patchuli fiend, and indeed, patchouli in this one makes this fragrance work; bridging the florals and woods, grounding everything in its brooding earthiness and animalics. Odor 93 is equally a patchuli fragrance as much as it is a tuberose one, and it uses the same gorgeous patchouli that the perfumer utilised in his other creation, Narcotico, which is Odor 93's darker sibling. Most of Meo Fusciuni's fragrances evokes emotions and triggers specific memories. In the case of Odor 93, the memories are that of a fantastical setting where such evocative scents are carried in the wind and you follow it to find a bed of flowers with curious, unworldly colors.

Tuberose has always been my mother's flower. But Odor 93 is *my* tuberose. I can understand why this is polarizing. Odor 93 is so dense, so dark. It's initially, in a way, so ugly (bear with me) it goes full circle into being one of the very most beautiful things i've ever--ever--smelled. An ouroboros type potion. My perfume perceptions were turned upside down the day I first experienced Odor 93, it unlocked something and my world opened up. What sets this tuberose apart from others is, to my nose, the narcissus-tobacco accord. There's a vegetal bitterness. After a little while, some sweetness begins to bloom and it softens up considerably, but without sacrificing the density that I find so intoxicating. "Where all your silences and your chaos meets...". Not a contradiction. Just a snake eating its tail.

I stumbled across this scent in a shop in Rome (HB, check it out if you are in the city. Great shop). I tried a few DS durga, FbD and asked the very kind guy about stuff he could recommend and after a few trials and errors we reach this one. I've never liked tuberose before. I do, however love floral ouds. After just a few seconds with this I fell in love. A wonderful oud backdrop with Tuberose and narcissus. The tobacco is in the background and the patchouli is a very nice complement! It's a big like for me! Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 9/10 Uniqueness: 9/10

This, like others by Meo Fusciuni, is a fragrance for souls who have passed a certain stage of spiritual evolution. A perfume for evolved souls. Only those with inner harmony and some degree of "connection" can appreciate it. Everyone can have their say, but with Meo we have pure energy of love, emotions, feelings, which not everyone can understand. "The visible world is a daily miracle for those who have eyes and ears; and I still warm hands thankfully at the old fire, though every year it is fed with the dry wood of more old memories. --- Edith Wharton. "

The fragrance was presented in Pitti Fragranze a few days ago in Florence. Than yes a lot of people had tested that. I personnaly like this scent so much. This is an extremely dark composition unic sweetish warm magnetic similar to Narcotico and Notturno in some ways. A really sexual perfume weird and torbid. Tones of beeswax and cognac in my experience. I love that. Anything similar around. Maybe can be scaring for someone.

If you rush to judgment on first (initial) experience, you will lose! This fragrance will give your nose some flogging at first, don't worry, it's an unusual fragrance. But please be of good cheer because a glorious experience will ensue. If might not even happen in the first few wears, but if you never give up, you will reap the reward. Creamy, floral, and woody. Perfection! 10/10

Testing this for the first time right now! Only been on my skin for like ten minutes. Initial impressions: kinda dank in a good way but also a yummy kinda fruity-feeling tuberose, a faint pee smell that fades in and out, slight jasmine corn chip thing (anyone else getting this?), kinda hippie shop vibes, cold damp basement, I'm loving this so far <3_<3

If I didn’t have Tubereuse Criminelle I would need a bottle of this immediately. This does last longer ... but TC has proven to be my favorite dark and androgynous tuberose. I have a feeling I will miss this when my decant runs out... but for now I see this as a daytime companion to the already established night vixen.

What a beautiful scent! Imagine Clive Christian’s Jump up and kiss me ecstatic, but with a little less fruity sweetness. Perfect for spring, fall and winter imo. I love tuberose so this is my next buy for sure. And with 220€ for 100ml it is a much better deal than the Clive Christian which is an absurdly 550€ for 50ml.

creamy stinging floral, subdued with damp, green, spicy elements and dusty, woody tobacco. as time goes by then the smoky and woody elements came forward interchangeably with the green floral elements. after sometime at the drydown, came the vanilla patchouli accord. wrapping it up nicely.

love/hate first 30 minutes smell like the disinfecting chemicals used in portable toilets/domestos/etc. with lacquer/nail remover then it almost completely softens and becomes creamy and subtle it's pretty extreme but intoxicating nonetheless, artistry for sure

This perfume is a masterpiece. What's special about it, besides the fact that it's a wonderful perfume and scent, is that it evokes longings and memories within me for something that's hard for me to explain.. Wow, there are no such things.

My favourite after Narcotico. They do have similarities but this is louder, heavier and drier. All the other tuberose-based perfumes I have encountered so far seem to be inferior to this one. Color association is super dark red. LLOVE IT!

First impressions from a tester strip: possibly the most beautiful tuberose fragrance I had to smell as of today. Rogue and his tuberose accord doesn't stand a chance in front of this level of work.

Spicy, dirty, dusty white flowers with woody, smokey, dry tobacco. Sexy, feminine, and dark. Amazing combination and well blended.
