Infinite Spicy by Olivier Cresp

A scent that is leaps and bounds beyond most fragrances in the non niche marketplace. Really well constructed and never seems like a budget type cologne. There might be some who would voice some concern over star anise and that oft talked about liqourice smell. Whatever Cresp did with Infinite Spicy to rein in the anise and avoid that dreaded liqourice all sorts aroma is worthy of praise. As is the opening blast which is nothing short of heavenly. The drydown is probably more niche than anything else, with not a cheap facet anywhere. Pleased now to add another stellar fragrance to my top 10 or so. Something about the overall cumulative effect which hits the spot and when that happens it is a wonderful experience. Out of the entire VIP Club range, this one is an easy winner. I have them all and only Black Leather would come second behind Infinite Spicy. Overall - 9/10 (could be 9.5 or 10 if the opening lasted)

What a beautiful fragrance. I love it very much. Spicy and very nice. For me all red coloured fragrances give me the same kind of vibe. They all smell different, but somehow give of the same vibe. My red fragrances are this one, Amouage Journey Man, Givenchy Xeryus Rouge, Dolce & Gabbana The One Royal Night and at the moment a 2ml sample of Mancera Red Tobacco. I love each and every one of them. This one for me I love the most. It is a bit more on the soft projection side and stays close to the skin. But wow oh wow it is super nice. If you get a chance to find it for a good price pick it up. I just bought a backup bottle and very happy. I don't really know how to explain it other than it is a very spicy fragrance with a touch of sweetness. I haven't smelt most of the compared to list, but I don't see how this compares to Mercedes-Benz Private.

This is nice, very very nice. There's an opening sweet smell that's so hard to describe, but so wonderful. You get juniper berry with a mild licorice and gingery pepper blast. I get something else as well which I can't place. Some form of fruity boozy liqueur that's left a pleasant memory in the dark recesses of my mind. As this strange blast starts to die down you get the cardamom coming through. As for a woody drydown it's more like a powdery woody drydown. There's certainly something of musky amber at the end. My only disappointment is the longevity at just over 3 hours. Sillage is moderate with 2 sprays to the neck. Mercedes Benz VIP Club Infinite Spicy by Olivier Crisp - Big name for a hugely splendid scent. (Oh, and if you haven't tried it, the Black Leather is also excellent - a smidge better? Possibly)

This is so unique. This is pure class. I can't wait for the fall time to pull this one out again. This is perfect if you want to stand out in any occasion. Dressed up, you will feel like a CEO of the biggest company on earth, smelling like this. For me, this is one of the hardest fragrances to describe. You should test it yourself. Only problem is, that it's impossible to find anywhere. It's sad that this is a limited edition.

Another winner from Mercedes Benz. A beautiful subtle (maybe too subtle) oriental spicy fragrance which has a rather unique scent profile. I believe this is discontinued. It's a shame that the longevity is so poor, but it is quite a beautiful scent that works well sprayed liberally during the evening so you can wrap yourself in its somewhat luxurious scent profile that is both sophisticated and comforting at the same time.

This is absolutely amazing. Smells like a Aventus style fragrance, with fruit and smokey tones. Unique either way and I think its a good addition to my collection regarding that the V.I.P collection is not easy to obtain. Still looking for a pure woody and addictive oriental. 9/10. Performance and longevity seems to be a problem for both however I think its pros outdoes those little cons.

The opening of this is incredible. So good. Sichuan pepper, star anise and coriander all mixed to great intensity. I must have a good bottle from bspin because mine lasts a good 7 hours. The wood, berry, and ginger dry down is nice...not as spectacular as the opening however. A bit too much of a pencil shavings vibe but still classy. Woody woody woody. Buy it if you get a cheap deal.

So Beautiful fresh spicy scent. Killer opening, killer blend, mysterious, deep and yet so light, very masculine and very high quality. Sadly, this dreamy aroma totally vanishes within one hour.

This is a peppery masterpiece !! one of the best in that Club line. Extremely under-rated. A must-have for any collector.

The name isn't messing around this is spicy as hell. A whole heap of spices up top without the grandpa sort of feel I got from Cartier Declaration Parfum. Pleasant and sophisticated. As a user explained below there's a very subtle sweetness that kicks in a little while later. It's hard to explain but very nice. It's slightly piney green with what to me smells like blueberries. In Combination with the sichuan it works very well. There's also a creamy woodiness at the base. Overall a very nice scent that could easily be a signature. Bold without being aggressive. Performance is not great, maybe 30 mins projection and total life of around 4-5 hrs

This is almost identical to Cerruti 1881 Bella Notte by the same perfumer (Oliver Cresp) so if you can't track this spice gem down simply go for the cheaper option. If I had to pick between the two and value for money didn't enter in to it then I would still pick the Cerruti version as it's a bit deeper, richer and better performing. This is good but the spices are a bit too fleeting for my liking.

I just got my bottle and it's 20c outside which may affect the entire olfactory experience I get pencil shaving mixed with spice and a very prominent church incense, it semi sweet and powdery scent that's all am getting from one spray test I will leave it to mature and come back to it later and see how it develops

The first blast made my day wow it is beyond beautiful, but why is the pleasure gone within 15 minutes or so, all that is left of pure heaven is a little bit of spicyness that is a near skin scent, i wish the opening would have lasted forever, one of the best first blast ever.

Pleasant bargain blind buy. I really love the concept of this line; gorgeous bottle in nice packaging that comes with a little fold-out insert which describes each of the different scents available (which appeals to my collector sensibilities and indeed I purchased another in the line and would consider buying them all if I find them at discount prices. I imagine that the entire collection would look very handsome standing shoulder to shoulder on the shelf). The scent itself is very nice and smells somewhat similar to Atelier Cologne’s Ambre Nue but with an intense kick of pepper. True to it’s name, Infinite Spicy is fresh and spicy and very natural smelling; like a high end aromatherapy spray. The fold out insert describes the scent as retaining its intense spiciness for many hours (hence its name of infinite spicy). I am not so convinced of this because less than an hour later the scent has significantly dissipated but this doesn’t leave me disappointed. The scent remains pretty much unchanged in the dry down, I just need to listen a little harder with my nose; I am a big fan of colognes and I like the regular application of fragrances.

"BIG DUD" I've been wearing fragrances since I was a kid. but I can hardly remember any day where I got so dissapointed with a perfume. This is beyond weak! 15-20 mins then it's gone. eventually got tired of trying to fool myself that it is this fragrance's natural composition and character as to why it fades too quickly., (spicy notes are generally not dense) But eitherway., this one is soo ethereal on the drydown. I"m happy to see though that it works for some other people here., I used it this morning to layer with PR XS 2018 and it seems to work well. i guess thats the only wear it sees for me until it runs out.

Horrible, just smells annoying. Luckily it discipates very fast.

11/23/22 UPDATE weak., just weak.

I second all the reviews praising the opening, its just amazing, so woody, so classy, so mystical (and still somehow masterfully avoid being a typical middle eastern, omani businessman type of smell, which would be easy to fall into with these notes) After the fireworks, it settles down to something more ordinary, but still very decent. im the first one to complain about longetivity and performance issues, but it performes really quite well, definetely well above avrage (so i cant really second those reviews ... maybe they got a bad batch?, i dont know, it last a full AM shift on me) Am I the only one getting a very distinct pine needle smell of it as well? eventhou there is no mentioning of pine within the notes, for me, it is the closest any parfume ever got to the gorgeous smell one sometimes experiences walking in pine forest. it is stronger towards the opening, but i can detect it all along the way. its great. i really dont like anything at all from jaguar and ferrari, and i find the bentley ones straight up disgusting, but mercedes in my book, really became a legit player in the parfume game with this new VIP collection, and cant wait to smell what they are up to next time around.
