Mercedes Benz Man Bright

Mercedes makes some really nice colognes, This was made especially for Perfumia, but now is at the discounters, I love pepper it gives it a more masculine smell. The bottle and presentation is front row worthy in your collection. The juice is a typical blue standard, kind of set by Chanel. Does it smell like or a clone of Bleu de Chanel? Sort of, but it is different, but goes down that path. The performance is better than an EDT, but average or slightly less for an EDP. This starts out Bright and citrusy with the pepper giving it some spice, the dry down is on the semi sweet side but has the blue creamy richness. This is a good fragrance I would rate it a 7-8 on a 10 scale. Very versatile and most occasions, dress up or down. But it is not a sport type fragrance.

#1097 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Before trying this out I would have said "Select Night" is my favorite Mercedes scent. Now it's this. If you swap out the sage and cypress in Chanel "Allure Homme Sport" for incense you get this better performing and more masculine take on the same bright citrus sport scent in a way that's smoother, more mature and interesting. Allure Homme Sport was so "me too" and underperforming. This is also kinda "me too", like every blue out there, but at least a moderate performer, makes it to lunch, low price, and way better performance than the Chanel which barely lasted past the commute. Car pool, elevator and small office safe. Good year around, day or night. Another successful blind buy for me.

Rating : 6.5 / 10 Price : good Decent one. Not quite bright as I thought. I was expecting a little more zingy bergamot but no. It opens up with peppery spicy accords with tiny bit of citrus nuance barely bergamot-ish, quickly this ambery sweetness kicks in must be the tonka, noticeable patchouli and definitely aromatic It smells manly but not over masculine at all. I LOVE IT. The resemblance to this maybe Jimmy choo man's lavender note + Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique but without the seanotes. Nothing close to BDC. It's got no softer sweetness but rather peppery sweet tho. Weak longevity and sillage. Never would have anyone think it as EDP at all. Improvements needed. I absolutely love the bottle. It's chrome. SHINY, and It's blue very zingy cobalt blue at the mid. but the there needs a lot of improvements on furbishing / polishing. It looks rough especially the welding between two plates. Minor scratches and dirts visible. oops! Overall 6.5 / 10 Nothing surprising but perfectly works for everyday use.

This fragrance is OK. The opening is kinda boring, all I get is a lot of pink pepper, but when the bergamot and mint come in it becomes much more enjoyable and lives up to its "Bright" moniker. It's not a very strong fragrance so you'll need 6-7 sprays to get any kind of performance from it. Fresh, crisp, and pleasing. Nothing that will knock your socks off though, and certainly not worth the retail price it's currently going for. Does NOT smell like Bleu de Chanel whatsoever.

6/10 Scent = 2/3 Performance = 2/3 Wearability = 2/3 Value = 0/1 Got this as 1ml sample. Decent fresh blue fragrance, old school. Smells like old spice/shower gel. Hard to dislike, but too boring for my taste, but wearable. Performance is good.

Got it at Burlington for $27. Beautiful Bottle. Typical Generic Blue with very little performance especially for an EDP. Many have compared it to BDC, but that would be an incredible reach. Maybe if it lasted a couple of hours, you might be able to make a small comparison. Nothing to see here. Save your money

Tested only one time. The opening is sparkling fresh kinda a little sweet. Was waiting for mid-bottom notes to kick in but nothing different has changed... Not impressed overall. 5/10

Gorgeous chrome bottle. Smells blue, but a little cheap, reminding me of Beckham The Essence, but with superior performance. I can recommend it only when it reaches the discounters.

Strong citrus and bright smell, though very poor longevity and projection. Nothing really too interesting, but is a decent wear. 5/10

Smells like a window cleaning material

My review echoes those from unfired91 and Vapor Trail below, except that to me this does smell a tiny bit like BDC. Of course it's going for that blue vibe, with some added mint to try to live up the the "Bright" moniker. Overall this is just an average, very low performing fragrance that disappointed me. My expectations were somewhat raised since I enjoy Mercedes-Benz Man Grey. The bottle sure is nice looking. But, that's about it.

soft and gentle. doesn’t give you a headache or sneeze attack. smells a little like deodorant but not in a bad way. fresh and clean. perfect for a summer day out. unfortunately it isn’t very long lasting - at least on skin. so for that you have to debate with yourself: the bottle is cool, the scent good but it lasts max one hour on your skin, is it really worth it then?

Just got it at Perfumania. Smells fresh when first sprayed then dries into a blue fragrance. The bottle is awesome. I need more time with it because the bottle is new so it will get stronger with time. But so far not bad at all. Easy to wear

Why FRAGRANTICA doesnt have Man Fresh ?? It's a 2021 release too, a nice fresh scent but for some reason, it's not here yet...

Oh great, another Unicorn to chase because no one has it or can get it yet.
