Mercedes Benz Sport

I got Mb Sport as a gift for my husband as I really love the fresh aquatic scents on him. It was a blind buy and a very good one. As for the juice itself, once sprayed, it reminds me a lot of Fahrenheit ... that very particular cucumber-ish/gasoline is very prominent. While developing, it fades giving more space to the floral and citrus notes to bloom. Fortunately, I don't get much of the spices that overload every new release nowadays... Today, the temp. exceeded 34° Celsius and I found myself looking for something refreshing and soothing, I started spraying MB Sport on my arm and to my surprise I liked it a lot on myself... I find it rather unisex and I think any lady could pull it off perfectly if they like that type of notes that are rather uncommon or even rare in feminine frag.

The initial spray reminds fresher Fahrenheit because it has that gasoline or petrol accord but it was very light with a very citrusy and aquatic vibe. This is like a modern Fahrenheit that you can wear on daytime. The sport name to it is more like a motorsport because of the petrol vibe. I just got 3 vial samples and I’m already thinking of buying a bottle, because I love Fahrenheit, but I cannot wear it during daytime because I live in a tropical country. Now, I can enjoy my love for Fahrenheit any given day of the whole year. Thank you Mercedes Benz for making an affordable Aqua Fahrenheit. Great Job!

OK I am growing to love this more having started wearing it again in the warmer spring weather. The violet in this is just so good when paired with the citrus. I's an absolute joy to wear this - it has that perfect balance of sweet and fresh. If you like Parma Violets then this is essentially what this smells like - if you can track down a bottle it's certainly a keeper.

A toned down version of Mercedes Benz Intense with added citrus. Basically if you have that or indeed the regular Mercedes Benz version I wouldn't bother with this as they are practically all the same DNA just with differing strengths. Intense is still the daddy from this family of frags and Mercedes Benz Cologne is still the king of the citrus freshies.

Between this, the original Mercedes-Benz EDT, and the Intense flanker, Sport is my favorite, mainly because the citruses complement the main violet note so well; the violet is less in-your-face while the citruses are bright without being too sharp. It's fresh, uplifting, classy, and just plain fun to wear. Cresp really did a good job here. IMO Mercedes-Benz Sport is a much better substitute for Dior Aqua Fahrenheit than Dunhill Fresh because of that citrus note, and it also just smells better! It's a shame it's getting hard to find and is generally not discussed as much as the Intense and Cologne flankers. Too bad!

I'm so surprised that I haven't seen anyone mention that this smells very similar to Nautica Voyage. IMO, it may even be slightly superior since on my skin it comes off more well-rounded, almost creamy, whereas NV always had a sharper bite to it. I think NV had a green apple note at the forefront, and I prefer the bergamont and violet leaf combo here.

The perfume is nice but nowadays we can never be sure its really O. Cresp behind the creation...

I bought a gift box that included a body wash and 100ml of Mercedes Benz sport and I bought this at a winners for 40$. To my nose it does smell like is Fahrenheit Aqua, and I would know because I have a very small amount of Fahrenheit Aqua left, and let me be clear I love all Fahrenheit bottles, probably one of my favourite scents of all time. Think a less aggressive gasoline smell and sweeter version of Fahrenheit. Solid 9/10 for me over here. Update Summer 2020: I forgot about this stuff and I'm not sure why. I put it on today and compliments just keep rolling in. My girlfriend is super picky when it comes to my cologne collection, but this is one of her absolute favorites. She wears my shirts when I'm not around because she loves this smell. This is a no brainer if you're on the market for Fahrenheit fragrances but are on a budget.

Just opened my box. This starts off with a strong pepper smell then quickly changes into citrus, then neroli, violet, and finally slight wood. At this time this fragrance is just ok. I bought it blindly and wouldnt have purchased it if I would have tested it prior to. I will revisit this and hopefully can update my review with a more enthusiastic review because I am a fan of Olivier Cresp's work. As, I am writing this what seemed to be a quiet scent is giving me more citrus and neroli. I hope this unfolds to be a good warm weather scent. Happy Sniffing.

This one's definitely more pleasant than the original Benz Men 2012 due to the more prominent citruses. I found 2 boxes of sample spray vials at a discounter nearby. Do I miss it or crave for more? Not really. I miss YSL L'Homme Summer more, even though the YSL is actually simpler and softer. I still have Lalique White which does it well in place of Benz Men Sport. You might also like CK2 for a more interesting twist on the theme..

Basically this parfume is just a refreshed version of Mercedes-Benz for men. An immense citrus note perfectly matches floral-powder sub-notes. "Sport" is an adequate name for this fragrence. It' perfect for a day use, but it may also suit the nightly events. "Sport" version seems to be more delicate and tenous. Stays on skin circa 4h and projection is rather light. I would totally recommend this fragrance. Overall: 7/10

Just got the Generic Perfumes version of this and they got it bang on.What a lovely fresh modern and manly scent, sure it is a bit like the original MB scent for men but much fresher. A nice classy scent for a gent you could not go wrong with this one :)

This one is very close to the regular Mercedes Benz edt. A bit fresher, just a bit more citrusy. However, the violet-y dry downs smell practically the same. Elegant and modern.
