Rose

I am always looking for rosey/fruity fragrances. I have found that combination actually is quite mood lifting for me. It wakes me up in the morning. This one was a blind buy and I am SO glad that I went for it. For one, the bottle is huge and will last forever. Fragrancenet.com has the best price (even better than ebay). The scent after the initial blast of grapefruit reminds me very much of Chloe EDT. It smells almost just like it during drydown. That works for me since Chloe is my signature scent. Always has been and likely always will be. This is a nice small change from my regular. The longevity is pretty good also. All in all an excellent blind buy! EXACTLY what I hoped it would be.

Ok, I had to go back and check that there's no tobacco in the notes. At first sniff, I swear I smell the filter of Marlboro Menthol Lights before you light it up. It threw me off for a bit. Once it settles down, it reminds me of a perfume from the 80s and 90s in Asia called Angel's Kiss (flanker of Angel's Breath). I'm not sure yet if I end up loving it...it's certainly different. I like it, so far. I am certainly smelling the dry, delicate rose at the end of it. It don't get the Dolce and Gabbana vibe. For me, it's very different.

Very nice! Love these refreshing dry rose/citrus scents. The grapefruit really attenuates the black current so it's not too tangy while the woods soften the citrus and provide some depth. It's great value for the inexpensive price it goes for here. Gonna have to practice some self-restraint not to buy this cheapie cause I really love the balance of rose/citrus/wood in this one. Edit 7/11/23 So a cute little 30 ml. of this has now joined my collection as part of a small birthday haul. So much for self-restraint.

This is a light and fresh rose scent. I sense mostly rose and citrusy notes. I think it's modest and good everyday scent, but I am not running to the shop to buy it. It's a little too ordinary for my taste. If I would get it as a present (that probably never happens), I would wear it, of course. It's worth a try if you are looking for simple, fresh, inoffensive scent. I have no bad words for it.

This is a fresh rose scent. It’s excellent for layering. It’s like a rose version of D&G Light Blue to me. (You can layer them together too)! I like using it most in spring and summer because the rose is not thick and overwhelming. A good intro to a rose when you prefer citrus woody scents.

The main scents I get from rose is lemon! It's so lemony. Reminds me of dolce & Gabbana light blue, the rose just adds a little sophistication to me but it's mostly the lemon. I think it's great for a hot summer day.

A pleasant fragrance that blends citrus zest and magnolia with a demure rose. It's slightly dry and the zest cuts the sweetness nicely and give a 'green' nuance.

Satin, soft rose, very nice and elegant. It reminds me a little of Chloe Roses scents. I mean similar vibe. If you look for a ladylike rose fragrance, try it.

Starts with a blast of grapefruit and black currant, then it comes the rose. The previous two scents from Mercedes were better.

This “rose” fragrance (and I use the quotes advisedly) did not agree with me at all. God-awful, cheap, synthetic muck, at least to my nose. And as I mentioned in my review of the primary Mercedes Benz fragrance: cheap, generic bottle, cheap plastic lid. Excessively sweet, garishly pink-coloured liquid that, when sprayed, irritates the nose and inflames the other senses. Please don’t wear this ghastly concoction on your precious, delicate skin. My apology to those who love this scent but I had an unpleasant experience with it; so much so that I promptly wrapped it and sent it to the nearest charity shop. If they can sell this *horreur* and generate a few spondooliks to help people in need, then I will know this *waste of money* has done a little good in this world. This fragrance has left me in a state of stress. Now, BREATHE...

I can see why NoNo707 thought they could smell a menthol cigarette, at first sniff I definitely got a minty note. This gives the fragrance a freshness which cuts through the floral rose and lifts it. For a reasonably priced fragrance, this is excellent value.

A sweet rose fragrance, quite simple and doesn't change much on my skin - keeps the initial pleasantly sweet aroma, doesn't get complicated. Nice scent, but I would say it lacks some nuances - something to make it more of an experience.

Get the smell of rose at the beginning and then becomes a very strong wood smell after. Good if you like wood smells, although I think I would really like smelling it on a guy but I don't need to personally smell like wood.

The scent starts nice, the opening is promising. And then is develops to a scent that is generic, as thousands others mediocre ones. Not much rosy, kind of fresh. Didnt blew me away.
