The Move

Clean, fresh, oceanic, slightly sweet, mildly floral. Fairly linear, subtle evolution throughout the day. In a way, it reminds me of a clean lightly sweet ocean air. Although I do pick up a soft metallic smell at the tail end of its longevity, it is not off putting but I feel it may be helpful to know it is there. Perfect for work or casual wear. Ideal for humid winter days, spring time or cooler summer days/nights. I haven’t received any verbal compliments wearing this, I have notice that I am approached more while wearing this fragrance. I have quite a few scents in my mainstay rotation, this one is definitely another favorite.

I got this as a gift as part of a discount deal, and it's honestly my favorite fragrance. On my first smell I thought it was nice and citrusy sweet, but as I wear it more and more I can get a fresh and woodsy vibe from it which is pleasant to me and everyone who has ever asked me about it. More than any other fragrance I own, it actually attracts a lot of compliments, and people always say they like it. I would 10/10 recommend this and I promise you won't regret it at all. Go to a fragrance outlet and check it out or any other store which has it in stock.

Mercedes the move was one of those love at first smell perfumes, I smelled it in a mall when I was about 14 years old and I had no money to buy it and a year ago at 18 I was able to buy it at an excellent price about 35dls, it is a delight for Much better than Invictus for me, you just don't get tired of smelling it, it was the one that started my passion for perfumes, it's very fresh, an aquatic, fruity vibe, good projection, moderate longevity about 6 hours on skin, 8 or more on clothes, if you find it at a good price there is no better purchase

This is definitely related to Invictus, which I hate, but there the adjustments made make it significantly superior. It does still smell sweet and marine, like Invictus, but more refined, less bulky. The opening is fruity, with something close to an apple-ginger, it's fizzy and youthful, very vibrant. The heart and drydown goes into a salty-breezy marine feel, it smells "outdoorsy", airy. I really like it, especially for the price, quality and performance you get. I recommend this much more than Invictus.

no long review. do not expect it to have GREAT PROJECTION. just average. average sillage too. butz the SMELL? very fragrant. one thing came into my mind. FRESH. the smell is so fresh. longevity is average. and it doesnt smell premium and luxurious. it smells GREAT but not luxurious. just preferrable for a happy casual day. but wouldnt be bad to be used during special occassion. the most important thing is the smell is inoffensive to many. many do agree to me that they love the smell. so do i.

Opening is the most beautiful with this perfume, dominated by very sweet sea notes. Sillage is very cool, feels almost like a mint. Quite bothered with dry down, smells a little bit herby, but you can only smell it intimately, doesn't affect the sillage. This easily is my signature scent.

A totally expected amazing fragrance. Aromatic, a sort of fresh and sweet note with a touch of sea salt or winter sea breeze. Do not over spray it. Easily lasts for 5-6 hours. Then it sort of becomes a skin fragrance. Great for summer, autumn and fall. Great value too.

Actually not bad at all! This one is fresh fruity light aquatic, very fun and versatile to wear. Reminds me of Invictus aqua 2018, but with better performance. If you can find one on the right price, this can be a lovely summer alternative.

First cologne I ever bought, it’s the reason I started collecting smells fresh,floral, and a little sweet but not over whelming. It last up to 6-7 hours on my skin and is one of my favorite colognes. Definitely recommend.

It’s a improved version of Invictus without the nasty marine notes you get in the end... very sweet and fresh everyday scent... women love to smell this as well... last very long for a edt I’m very impressed Mercedes!

Surprisingly very good! It is very fresh, fruity, and airy. A heck of a lot better and higher quality than invictus. Girlfriend loves it as well!

I can’t lie I love this fragrance

Reminds me of invictus. The tonka note stands out a lot in this fragrance. Its very balanced between fresh and sweet, but it is more sweet than other freshies. Go light on the sprays because it can become cloying, especially in indoor environments. Longevity is decent and i would overall describe it as a “hidden gem” for the summer

Have got a decent amount of compliments with this surprisingly compared to my other stuff. Lasts long, smells good fresh a little bit sweet. Not too bad of a price for this I think it’s worth it. Reminds me of Invictus

Certainly borrows heavily from the Invictus (moreso Invictus Aqua) DNA. Essentially entirely synthetic, which can be a bit screechy to some noses. Sporty, youthful, aquatic, bright, and fresh, but quite, quite sweet. Not a masterpiece by any stretch, and rather uninspired. For those of us who have graduated well into seeking out complexity, originality, and true niche specialties or natural perfumery, this will be pretty boring - HOWEVER, as a basic dumb reach Invictus Aqua-style scent, to spritz on before the gym, it does everything it should, and you can't knock it for that. A bit more bombastic than Invictus, and not quite as effervescent or candy synthetic as Montblanc Legend Spirit, The Move bridges the gap, with some (surprising) added projection and longevity, and a *slight* hint of something woodier, greener, and fresher in the base. True conifer lovers will scoff at the idea of "fir" being in here, but I can understand what they were going for, and it adds this slight (maybe 4%) added maturity, over the aforementioned. Overall, it's basically an Invictus spin, and there's not much exciting going on here, but it's loud, it smells good, and it does what it intends. If you like this style of fragrance, and haven't been ruined by ultra luxury, niche, indie, and natural artistic expressions, I little little here worth knocking.

To me,the cardamon and tonka really stand out here. It's very spicy with a heavy sweetness. I wouldn't call it "cloying" as it's not super sweet. To me this reminds me of Halloween X,which also has predominate cardamon and tonka with a hint of salty. And like Halloween X I really like it but it's just too heavy on me. Did give me a slight headache. I don't get how some reviews say it's a warm weather fragrance. "Light and clean" is the last description I would think of. I will say the longevity is pretty good. The women in my family liked it. I just wish they'd tone this one down a bit. Will probably get a very small bottle of it and be very light with the sprays. Wear it every so often.

smells like all those fragrances with blackcurrant-tonka sweetness. the sweetness is generally nice but too girlish , aromatic and in this case also strong for me. But if you like that kind of sweetness this is great performer for the price. I could smell it on my t-shirt for several days. I also have to say that I got compliments with it. It is possible to buy 20ml cute bottle of it for under 10 euro so this could be good for testing

20ml for ~ 10€ it's a steal. Even does not smell like a dry cat urine after an hour on my salty skin, like many others "marine" scents. This is the second from Mercedes in my collection (after the keks vanilla Club Black) and I can just admire the solid work of mercedes. It reminds me on L'Eau Majeure d'Issey Issey Miyake , but it's better without this strong metal nuance.

A love at first sniff, but it got boring *really* quick, like playing a song on repeat for the whole day. SCENT: Candy sweet opening with main notes of apple blossom and vanilla ice cream. First spray is what you get, The Move is linear. A synthetic representation of vanilla ice cream with too much artificial apple syrup on top. Awfully cloying in my humble opinion. PERFORMANCE: Epic, one or two sprays is enough. This thing is a room filler. People could smell this from a metre away when wearing a mask after an hour. The longevity isn't bad either and can last you through the whole day. BUT this, paired with the overwhelming sweetness, makes it cloying. Just for reference, this beats Eros and Ultra Male in potency. APPEAL: You will get positive attention because it is sweet, and people WILL smell this on you. UNIQUENESS: Unique for the strong apple blossom accord. FINAL THOUGHTS: I would recommend that you test this first by spraying a couple sprays on yourself and see if you get tired of it by the end of the day. If not, then this is worth the buy just for the performance.

Bought this on vacation. The wife liked the scent and my initial test reaction was a strong spicy salty and very sweet fragrance. It's starts with a extremely sweet fruity and salty spicy sea note opening. in the dry-down, sea and salt notes move to the background with sweet and spicy notes upfront. This is a love hate relationship as I find it OK, but then some days I find it too sweet and a bit too cloying and slightly nauseating. Projection and longevity are better than average, and it's a good price point and can still smell on my skin after 5-7 hrs. It's not world class, but I don't think it is cheap smelling as others have stated. Tone down the sweetness with more balance with the citrus and spices and this could be good. For spring and summer daytime wear...maybe boating. Not my go to fragrance. Scent 6/10 Performance 7/10 Price: 7/10

First impressions are dismal and cloying. Acqua Di Gio dupe is a bit harsh but it is a very very marine scent and I like those but this is confused. Maybe I'm wearing it in the middle of winter. I think this is one of those scents which works better to freshen up clothes before they are put in the laundry. It's cheap though so can hardly go wrong, car air freshener scent. I think Giorgio Beverly Hills(?) (The nuclear one) is better than this.

This was my first fragrance ever. I do not like it. It reminds me of being 15 years old and it smells exactly like that. It's nice enough to be worn, but it's remarkably underwhelming and immature. Bleh

Very generic and synthetic. OK for the gym, or the untrained nose. It does remind me of a inexpensive body spray.

HORRIBLE DO NOT BUY PLEASE!!! This was my first fragrance and it almost stopped me from getting into colognes. It is so strong that was gagging when I sat in the same place for so long- can fill up an entire room easily. Once the cologne calms down from its powerful opening, it is somewhat decent, however, very sweet. I would recommend Light Blue Intense Pour Homme over this.

Awesome day scent for men! Very fresh and aquatic. I get a similar vibe to the Paco Rabanne Invictus in its citrus-y sea notes, but while the Invictus is a little bit thicker in its sweet quality, this one is just clean. You do get a bit of warm spice from the cardamom after the first half hour or so when it settles, but the sweet grapefruit never really goes away. Nothing crazy about it, just a good scent for warm summer days. And the bottle looks weird and short in the picture hahaha, but it's better in person! Looks a lot more sleek lol

We just started carrying this is our store late last week and have already sold about 5 of them. Light, airy scent. I get more of the apple blossom and sea notes, and the base is not too heavy.

Underrated, very fresh smelling fragrance with decent longevity. Punches well above it's purchase price. It just smells very clean to my nose. A masculine laundry detergent.

I find this not very good. Blind bought hoping for a sweeter Invictus inspired fragrance. Sillage is rather strong but there is a pungent note that does not work well.

It smells like someone just rubbed some fruity gum on me. If you like to smell sweet, go for it. If not, stay away from this.

To me, this smells much more like Azzaro Wanted than Invictus (though I know they are pretty similar).
